Abstract

A manhole cover for monitoring the state of an underground facility on the basis of a low-power wide-area network (LPWAN), according to one embodiment of the present invention, comprises: a space, formed in the upper end of the manhole cover, within which an antenna for transmitting, to a monitoring server, sensor information of a sensor device sensing the state of the underground facility via the LPWA network may be arranged; a hole, formed in the lower end of the manhole cover, in which a buried communication device capable of collecting the sensor information from the sensor device via a wired communication or a wireless communication may be arranged, and through which an antenna may be connected to a communication device at the lower end of the space.
