And the second nozzle holes 502 and 503 are alternately arranged on the circumference 700. That is, the second nozzle holes 502 and 503 are arranged on the circumference 700 so as to be adjacent to the first nozzle hole 501. At this time, the relationship between the inclination angles ⁇ 1 and ⁇ 2 is present between the first nozzle hole 501 and the second nozzle holes 502 and 503.
- the second nozzle holes 502 and 503 arranged closest to the first nozzle hole 501 have a configuration in which the hole diameter is larger and the inclination angle is smaller than that of the first nozzle hole 501.
- a configuration having two second injection holes 502 and 503 is described, but a configuration having either one of the injection holes 502 or 503 as the second injection holes may be used.
- the nozzle hole forming member 116 is formed with a plurality of fuel passages 701, 702, 703, and 704 that are arranged so as to be separated from each other in the circumferential direction around the central axis 116a.
- the fuel passages 701 to 704 constitute flow paths that guide the fuel to the nozzle holes 501 to 506.
- FIG. 8 is a diagram showing the flow velocity distribution (flow velocity vector) of the fuel flowing into the nozzle holes formed in the nozzle hole forming member.
- FIG. 8 shows the flow velocity distribution when the diameters of the other nozzle holes 502 and 503 are made substantially the same as those of the first nozzle holes 501 shown in FIGS. 5 and 6.
- the nozzle hole angle ⁇ 1 formed between the normal line 601a of the sheet surface 601 and the central axis 119a of the nozzle hole is still larger than the nozzle hole angles of the other nozzle holes 502 to 506.
- the fuel tends to peel off at the inlet 119c (501c) of the nozzle hole 501, and the fuel in the nozzle hole 501 tends to flow toward the opposite side of the peeled surface.
- FIG. 8 shows the flow velocity distribution when the diameters of the other nozzle holes 502 and 503 are made substantially the same as those of the first nozzle holes 501 shown in FIGS. 5 and 6.
- the nozzle hole angle ⁇ 1 formed between the normal line 601a of the sheet surface 601 and the central axis 119a of the nozzle hole is still larger than the nozzle hole angles of the
- the fuel that has flowed from the volume 801 formed at the tip of the valve body 114 is separated from the nozzle hole wall surface 802 at the inlet 119 c of the nozzle hole 501, and the fuel that flows in the nozzle hole 501 is the seat (valve).
- the portion 114 is in contact with the body 114 and flows toward the wall surface 803 side. For this reason, the flow velocity distribution of the fuel spray at the nozzle hole outlet 119b (501b) becomes uneven, and the maximum value of the velocity vector in the direction along the central axis 119a at the nozzle hole outlet 119b increases.
- the fuel spray injected from the nozzle hole 501 has a problem that the penetration tends to be long and the cylinder spray wall surface 210 tends to adhere.
- FIG. 9 is a diagram showing the flow velocity distribution (flow velocity vector) of the fuel flowing into the first nozzle holes formed in the nozzle hole forming member according to one embodiment (Example 1) of the present invention.
- the ratio of the fuel injected from the injection holes 502 and 503 can be increased.
- the fuel injected from the nozzle hole 801 is relatively small.
- the flow velocity distribution at the outlet 119b of the nozzle hole 501 is made uniform, the maximum value of the flow velocity vector decreases. Therefore, the penetration force of the spray can be reduced and the penetration is shortened. As a result, fuel adhesion to the inner surface of the cylinder inner wall 210 can be reduced, and PN can be suppressed.
- the penetration force of the sprays D2 and D3 in the second nozzle holes 502 and 503 is increased, and the sprays D2 and D3. Can be prolonged. Since the sprays D2 and D3 directed in the direction of the intake valves 205a and 205b are close to the intake valves 205a and 205b, they are easily affected by the flow of the inflowing air. By securing the penetration force of the sprays D2 and D3 and lengthening the penetration, the directivity of the sprays D2 and D3 can be secured even when the air flow is strong, and the homogeneity of the air-fuel mixture can be improved. As a result, the effects of improving combustion efficiency and reducing PN can be obtained.
- the homogeneity of the air-fuel mixture can be improved and the PN reduction effect can be enhanced by increasing the penetration force of the sprays D2 and D3 even in a transient state.
- the penetration of the sprays D2 and D3 directed to the intake valves 205a and 205b is the longest compared to the other sprays, and is directed toward the spark plug 203 rather than the sprays D2 and D3.
- the penetration of the spray D1 is short.
- the configuration in the first embodiment of the present invention is effective, for example, in the range where the angle ⁇ 601 is 150 deg or less. Become.
- Lo / Do which is the ratio between the length Lo of the nozzle hole and the hole diameter Do of the nozzle hole
- Lo / Do which is the ratio between the length Lo of the nozzle hole and the hole diameter Do of the nozzle hole
- the nozzle hole Since the fuel is rectified and injected from the nozzle hole outlet, the flow velocity vector in the direction along the central axis 119a of the nozzle hole is increased, and the penetration is increased.
- Lo / Do is small, since the flow of fuel is injected from the nozzle hole outlet before being rectified in the nozzle hole, the flow velocity vector in the direction along the central axis 119a of the nozzle hole can be reduced, The penetration can be shortened.
- the Lo1 / Do1 of the first nozzle hole 501 is configured to be smaller than the Lo2 / Do2 of the second nozzle holes 502 and 503 (see FIG. 6). Thereby, the penetration of the 1st spray D1 can be shortened, the fuel adhesion to the cylinder inner wall surface 210 can be suppressed, and the reduction effect of PN can be heightened.
- As means for reducing Lo / Do there is a method of increasing Lo1 of the first injection hole 501 by increasing the depth of the counterbore part 511 or increasing the diameter Do1 of the first injection hole 501.
- the hole diameter Do1 of the first injection hole 501 is increased, the fuel flowing through the first injection hole 501 also increases. For this reason, in order to reduce penetration, it is particularly effective to increase the depth of the counterbore part 511.
- the sectional shape of the nozzle holes 501 to 506 may be a shape other than a circle (perfect circle), for example, an elliptical shape.
- the hole diameter Do1 of the first nozzle hole 501 and the hole diameter Do2 of the second nozzle holes 502 and 503 cannot be compared.
- the nozzle holes 501 and 502 are formed such that the cross-sectional area So1 of the first nozzle hole 501 is smaller than the cross-sectional area So2 of the second nozzle holes 502 and 503. , 503 may be determined.
- the cross-sectional areas So1 and So2 are areas of the nozzle hole cross section perpendicular to the central axis 119a of each nozzle hole.
- counterbore portions 511 to 516 Downstream of the nozzle holes 501 to 506, counterbore portions 511 to 516 having a larger inner diameter than the hole diameters of the nozzle holes 501 to 506 are formed.
- the length Lo of the nozzle hole can be reduced while securing the thickness of the nozzle hole forming member 116, so that it is possible to achieve both pressure resistance due to fuel pressure and reduction of penetration.
- the counterbore portions 511 to 516 the influence of air flow in the engine and pressure change on the spray can be reduced, and the fuel spray can be stably injected into the engine cylinder.
- the inner diameter Da2 of the second counterbore parts 512 and 513 of the second injection holes 502 and 503 may be larger than the inner diameter Da1 of the first counterbore part 511 of the first injection hole 501. Since the fuel injected from the first nozzle hole 501 has a swirling component in the radial direction with respect to the central axis 119a of the nozzle hole, as shown in the sprays D1 to D6 in FIGS. It spreads in the radial direction and is injected. When the inside diameter of the counterbore part is too large with respect to the hole diameter of the injection hole, the effect of cleaning the carbon deposit (deposit) by the injected fuel is reduced. For this reason, the generated deposit accumulates in the counterbore part, and PN may increase because fuel oozes from the deposit part.
- the inside diameter of the counterbore part is too small compared to the hole diameter of the nozzle hole, the fuel injected from the nozzle hole will collide with the counterbore part and spray penetration and the center of gravity position of the spray will vary, resulting in unstable combustion. Or the homogeneity of the air-fuel mixture decreases and PN increases.
- the inner diameter Da1 of the first counterbore part 511 of the first jet 501 is smaller than the inner diameter Da2 of the second counterbore parts 512 and 513 of the second nozzle holes 502 and 503.
- the cross-sectional area of the first counterbore part 511 is smaller than the cross-sectional area of the second counterbore parts 512 and 513.
- the fuel that has flowed from the upstream of the nozzle hole forming member 116 passes through the four fuel passages 701 to 704 provided in the nozzle hole forming member 116 and is injected from the nozzle holes 501 to 506.
- the position of the central axis 119a on the sheet surface 601 of each nozzle hole 501 to 506 (that is, the position of the center point of the inlet opening surface of the nozzle holes 501 to 506) 501b to 506b is the inlet of the nozzle holes 501 to 506 on the circumference 700.
- the opening surfaces 501c to 506c may be arranged so as to partially cover.
- the center points 501b to 506b of the inlet opening surfaces 501c to 506c of the nozzle holes 501 to 506 are arranged on the same circumference.
- the fuel flowing from the upstream flows uniformly into the nozzle holes 501 to 506, so that the fuel easily flows into the nozzle holes 501 to 506. That is, the above-described arrangement of the nozzle holes 501 to 506 has an effect of making the ratio of the fuel flowing into the nozzle holes 501 to 506 (fuel flow distribution) uniform.
- the flow distribution of the nozzle holes 501 to 506 is made uniform by the arrangement of the nozzle holes 501 to 506, and the hole diameters of the first nozzle holes 501 and the hole diameters of the second nozzle holes 502 and 503 are changed.

- the flow distribution between the first nozzle holes 501 and the second nozzle holes 502 and 503 can be changed reliably and accurately, and the fuel spray injected from the first nozzle holes 501 and the second nozzle holes 502 and 503 can be changed. Can be changed reliably and accurately.
- the injection hole angle ⁇ 1 of the first injection hole 501 is greater than the injection hole angle ⁇ other than the injection hole 501 (the injection hole angles ⁇ 502 to ⁇ 506 of the injection holes 502 to 506).
- the first injection hole 501 may have a structure in which the injection hole angle ⁇ is larger than the adjacent second injection holes 502 and 503, and the injection holes 504 to 506 have the injection hole angle ⁇ 1 of the first injection hole 501.
- the magnitude relationship of the nozzle hole angle ⁇ may be set as described above with respect to the nozzle holes that can change the flow distribution of the first nozzle holes 501.
- the nozzle holes that affect the flow distribution of the first nozzle holes 501 are the second nozzle holes 502 and 503 adjacent to the first nozzle holes 501.
- the effect of shortening the penetration described above can be obtained by reducing the diameter of the nozzle hole having the larger nozzle hole angle ⁇ between the adjacent nozzle holes.
- the injection hole angle ⁇ of each injection hole 501 to 506 May be different from the configuration of FIG.
- the nozzle hole angle ⁇ is compared between adjacent nozzle holes, and the nozzle hole diameter is set to be smaller when the nozzle hole angle ⁇ is smaller.
- the penetration can be shortened reliably without depending on the mounting position. Note that, in the case of the arrangement directly above, fuel penetration to the piston 209 can be suppressed and the PN reduction effect can be enhanced by shortening the penetration of the spray nozzle hole particularly directed in the piston direction.

- the inner diameter Da3 of the counterbore part 1114 of the third nozzle hole 1104 and the inner diameter Da4 of the counterbore parts 1115 and 1116 of the fourth nozzle holes 1105 and 1106 are the inner diameter Da1 and the counterbore parts 512 and 513 of the counterbore part 511 described in the first embodiment. It has the same relationship as the relationship with the inner diameter Da2.
- the fuel injection device 100 includes a plurality of nozzle holes 501 to 503 and 1104 to 1106 including a third nozzle hole 1104 having a small nozzle hole diameter and a plurality of fourth nozzle holes 1105 and 1106 having a large hole diameter.
- the third nozzle holes 1104 and the fourth nozzle holes 1105 and 1106 are arranged alternately on the same circumference.
- FIG. 12 is a schematic diagram of an in-cylinder direct injection internal combustion engine (direct injection engine) that injects fuel directly into a cylinder according to an embodiment (Example 2) of the present invention.
- the spray D4 'directed to the piston 209 side has a shorter distance to the piston 209 than the sprays D5 and D6 directed to the diagonal direction of the piston 209. Therefore, the rate of adhesion to the piston 209 is greater in the spray D4 'than in the sprays D5 and D6.
- the hole diameter of the fourth nozzle holes 1105 and 1106 By configuring the hole diameter of the fourth nozzle holes 1105 and 1106 to be larger than that of the third nozzle hole 1104, the ratio of the fuel flowing through the fourth nozzle holes 1105 and 1106 increases, and the ratio of the fuel flowing through the third nozzle hole 1004 Can be reduced. As a result, the flow rate of the fuel in the third nozzle hole 1104 is reduced, so that the separation of the fuel at the nozzle hole inlet of the third nozzle hole 1104 is reduced, and the fuel is separated from the wall surface of the third nozzle hole 1104 (802 in FIG. 9). ) And injected from the nozzle hole outlet (see 119b in FIG. 9).
- the third nozzle hole 1104 may be configured on the opposite side of the first nozzle hole 501 across the central axis of the nozzle hole forming member 116 or the valve body 114. Since the fuel spray can be uniformly injected throughout the engine cylinder by forming a symmetrical spray with respect to the virtual plane 220b passing through the first nozzle hole 501 and the third nozzle hole 1104, the homogeneity of the air-fuel mixture can be increased. It can improve and suppress PN.
- the piston 209 ascending stroke (compression stroke) or spark plug 203 is aimed at suppressing the temperature in the cylinder and improving the homogeneity of the fuel mixture.
- fuel is injected at the timing just before ignition at.
- the fuel injection device 100 of the second embodiment since the penetration of the fourth spray D4 'can be shortened, this is particularly effective in a direct injection engine that injects fuel after the compression stroke. As a result, it is possible to achieve both fuel efficiency improvement and PN reduction by suppressing the combustion temperature.

- the spray D2 and the spray D3 that are injected diagonally toward the intake valves 205a and 205b or toward the cylinder inner wall surface 210 have a longer distance from the outlet of the nozzle hole to the cylinder inner wall surface 210 than the spray D1, so that The amount of fuel spray adhering to the wall surface 210 is small. Accordingly, by configuring the hole diameters of the second nozzle holes 502 and 503 to be larger than the hole diameters of the fourth nozzle holes 1105 and 1106, the ratio of the fuel flowing through the second nozzle holes 502 and 503 is increased, and the fourth nozzle hole 1105 is increased.

- the effect which suppresses the fuel adhesion to 209 can be acquired.
- the cylinder has a large inner diameter, so that the distance between the fuel injection device 100 and the cylinder inner wall surface 210 facing the fuel injection device 100 becomes long.
- the third nozzle holes 1104 and the second nozzle holes 1104 according to the second embodiment can be used without adopting the configuration of the first nozzle holes 501 and the second nozzle holes 502 and 503.

- the adhesion of fuel to 210 can be suppressed and the effect of reducing PN can be enhanced.
- the third injection hole 1104 is configured to be smaller in Lo / Do than the fourth injection holes 1105 and 1106, fuel adhesion to the piston 209 can be suppressed and PN can be reduced.
- the fourth nozzle holes 1105 and 1106 may be configured to have a smaller Lo / Do than the second nozzle holes 502 and 503.
- the sprays D2 and D6 directed to the vicinity of the intake valves 205a and 205b have lower sensitivity to the PN when the penetration is longer than the other sprays. Therefore, by reducing the Lo / Do of the fourth nozzle holes 1105 and 1106 smaller than the second nozzle holes 502 and 503, the penetration of the sprays D3 and D5 directed in the diagonal direction of the piston 209 can be suppressed, and the PN is reduced. it can.

- multistage injection that promotes the mixing of fuel and air by dividing the fuel spray in one combustion cycle into a plurality of parts.
- fuel may be injected during the compression stroke of the piston 209, but since the distance between the fuel injection device 100 and the piston 209 is short, the fuel spray D4 'tends to adhere to the piston 209.
- PN When performing such multi-stage injection, it is possible to further suppress PN by suppressing fuel adhesion to the piston 209 by suppressing the penetration of the fuel spray D4 ′ and simultaneously improving the homogeneity of the air-fuel mixture. It becomes.
- the penetration of the sprays D2 and D3 directed to the intake valves 205a and 205b is the longest compared to the other sprays, and the spray D1 directed to the spark plug 203 direction than the sprays D2 and D3 and The penetration of D4 ′ directed in the direction of the piston 209 is short.
- the cross-sectional shapes of the nozzle holes 501 to 503 and 1104 to 1106 may be shapes other than a circle (perfect circle), for example, an elliptical shape.

- the injection hole center line angles 1403 and 1402 formed by the lines 1412 and 1413 are the injection hole center lines 1415 and 1313 passing through the fourth injection holes 1105 and 1106 and the injection hole center lines 1412 and 1413 passing through the second injection holes 502 and 503, respectively. This is a point smaller than the nozzle hole center line angles 1404 and 1407 formed by
- the second nozzle holes 502 and 503 are brought closer to the first nozzle hole 501 side, that is, the nozzle center line angles 1402 and 1403 are reduced, whereby the spray D1 and the second nozzle hole 501 are sprayed.
- the interference of the sprays D2 and D3 in the nozzle holes 502 and 503 becomes strong, and the penetration of the spray D1 can be shortened (see FIG. 12).
- the nozzle hole center line angles 1404 and 1407 formed by the second nozzle holes 502 and 503 and the fourth nozzle holes 1105 and 1106 may be configured to be large.
- the interference between the sprays D2 and D3 and the sprays D5 and D6 is weak, but the sprays D5 and D6 in the fourth nozzle holes 1105 and 1106 are sprays that are injected diagonally with respect to the piston 209. Therefore, the sensitivity to PN is low even when the penetration is long. Therefore, according to said structure in Example 4, the total amount of each spray of adhesion on the piston 209 and the cylinder inner wall surface 210 can be reduced.
- the configuration of the nozzle hole position in the fourth embodiment may be combined with the configuration of the first embodiment.
- FIG. 15 is an enlarged plan view of an injection hole forming member according to an embodiment (embodiment 5) of the present invention as seen from the inside (valve element side).
- the difference between the fifth embodiment and the first embodiment is that the first nozzle holes 501 are arranged on the circumference 1501 on the sheet surface 601 with the central axis 116a of the nozzle hole forming member 116 as the center.
- the second nozzle holes 502 and 503 are arranged on a circumference 1500 on the sheet surface 601 centering on the central axis 116a. That is, the center of the inlet opening surface of the first nozzle hole 501 is disposed on the circumference 1501, and the center of the inlet opening surface of the second nozzle holes 502 and 503 is disposed on the circumference 1500.
- the circumference 1501 has a larger radius than the circumference 1500, and the circumference 1501 is located on the outer peripheral side of the injection hole forming member 116 with respect to the circumference 1500.
- the nozzle hole position of the first nozzle hole 501 is configured on the outer diameter side with respect to the circumference 1500 passing through the central axis of the second nozzle holes 502 and 503, thereby Since the fuel flowing from the volume 801 (see FIG. 9) easily flows to the second nozzle holes 502 and 503 located on the inner peripheral side of the first nozzle hole 501, the fuel flowing to the first nozzle hole 501 is small. Become. As a result, the separation of fuel from the nozzle hole wall surface 802 (see FIG. 8) is reduced, and the flow velocity at the nozzle hole outlet can be made uniform and the maximum value of the flow velocity vector can be reduced.
- the configuration in the fifth embodiment may be used in combination with the configuration in the second embodiment.
- the first injection hole 501 and the third injection hole 1104 are arranged on the circumference 1501
- the second injection holes 502, 503 and the fourth injection holes 1105, 1106 are arranged on the circumference 1500. It is good to arrange in. With this configuration, the penetration of the third nozzle hole 1104 can be reduced, and PN can be reduced by suppressing fuel adhesion at the piston 209.
- Example 6 according to the present invention will be described with reference to FIGS. 16 and 17.
- the same reference numerals as those in the other embodiments are used for parts and configurations similar to those in the other embodiments.
- FIG. 16 is a plan view of the injection hole forming member of the fuel injection device according to one embodiment (Example 6) of the present invention as viewed from the front end direction.
- the difference between the sixth embodiment and the first embodiment is that the counterbore portions 1601 to 650 having a larger inner diameter than the inner diameters of the respective counterbore portions 511 to 516 on the upstream side of the counterbore portions 511 to 516 of the nozzle holes 501 to 506 are different.
- the downstream counterbore portions 1601 to 1606 are made larger in internal diameter than the counterbore portions 511 to 516 of the upstream side, so that the fuel injected from the injection holes 501 to 506 is downstream counterbore portions 1601 to 1606. It becomes easy to suppress adhering to.
- the fuel injected from the nozzle holes 501 to 506 has a velocity vector in the turning direction with respect to the central axis 119a of the nozzle hole, and therefore has an angle ⁇ with respect to the central axis 119a of the nozzle hole.
- FIG. 17 is a view showing the nozzle hole forming member according to one embodiment (Example 6) of the present invention, and is a cross-sectional view showing the XVII-XVII cross section of FIG. In FIG. 17, the valve body 114 is omitted.
- nozzle hole 504 will be described, but the same applies to the other nozzle holes 501 to 503, 505, and 506.
- the inner diameter of the upstream counterbore part 514 is increased in order to suppress fuel adhesion to the upstream counterbore part 514, the distance between the fuel spray and the inner peripheral surface 1604a of the upstream counterbore part 514 becomes longer, and carbon is injected by the injected fuel. The effect of cleaning the deposited material (deposit) is reduced. As a result, the generated deposit accumulates in the upstream counterbore part 514, and the fuel oozes from the deposit part, so that PN may increase.
- the downstream counterbore part 1604 by providing the downstream counterbore part 1604, the distance between the fuel spray and the upstream counterbore part 514 is reduced, and the upstream counterbore parts 511 to 816 and the downstream counterbore part of the fuel spray are reduced. Since the fuel adhesion to 1601 to 1606 can be suppressed, the effect of suppressing PN is enhanced.
- the inner diameter of the downstream counterbore portions 1601 to 1606 may be determined according to the inner diameter of the upstream counterbore portions 511 to 516 or the inner diameters (hole diameters) of the nozzle holes 501 to 506.
- the nozzle hole diameter or the inner diameter of the upstream counterbore part is large, increasing the inner diameter of the downstream counterbore part 1604 can reduce fuel adhesion to the downstream counterbore part and suppress PN.
- the cross-sectional shapes of the upstream counterbore portions 511 to 816 and the downstream counterbore portions 1601 to 1606 may be other than a circle (perfect circle), for example, an elliptical shape. If the cross-sectional shape perpendicular to the central axis of the upstream counterbore and downstream counterbore is other than a perfect circle, the shape of each counterbore should be such that the cross-sectional area of each counterbore satisfies the above relationship instead of the inner diameter It is good to decide.
- this invention is not limited to each above-mentioned Example, Various modifications are included.
- the above-described embodiments have been described in detail for easy understanding of the present invention, and are not necessarily limited to those having all the configurations.
- a part of the configuration of one embodiment can be replaced with the configuration of another embodiment, and the configuration of another embodiment can be added to the configuration of one embodiment.

Abstract
