Abstract

본 발명의 일 실시예에 따른 무선 랜 시스템에서 스테이션(STA)이 프레임을 송신하는 방법은, 액세스 포인트(AP)로부터 제1 프레임을 수신하는 단계; 상기 제1 프레임에 기초하여, 상기 STA이 전송하고자 하는 제2 프레임의 SIG(signaling) 필드에 포함될 TXOP 기간(transmission opportunity duration) 값을 결정하는 단계; 및 상기 제2 프레임을 송신하는 단계를 포함하되, 상기 TXOP 기간 값의 결정에 있어서, 상기 STA은, 상기 제1 프레임을 통해 지시되는 TXOP 기간을 기반으로 상기 제2 프레임이 전송된 이후에 남아 있을 잔여 TXOP 기간을 산정하고, 상기 잔여 TXOP 기간이 상기 SIG 필드에서 사용되는 시간 단위의 입도(granularity)의 배수가 아닌 경우, 상기 잔여 TXOP 기간을 상기 입도의 배수인 제1 TXOP 기간 값으로 근사화(approximation)할 수 있다.
