Definitions
- the present invention relates to a fiber reinforced sheet including a fiber bundle.
- the present invention also relates to a structure using the fiber reinforced sheet.
- a fiber reinforced sheet exhibits high performance by impregnating a resin in a reinforcing fiber bundle and integrating the resin and the reinforcing fiber.
- Examples of the resin impregnated in the reinforcing fiber bundle include a thermosetting resin and a thermoplastic resin.
- a high molecular weight thermosetting resin or a general thermoplastic resin has a high melt viscosity. It is not easy to impregnate a reinforcing fiber bundle with a resin having a high melt viscosity. For this reason, it is not easy to form the fiber reinforced sheet into various shapes, and it is not easy to form a particularly large fiber reinforced sheet.
- Patent Document 1 discloses a fiber-reinforced plastic molded product having a curved shape.
- This molded article is a laminate of at least three layers including a continuous fiber reinforced sheet having a fiber bundle.
- a nonwoven fabric sheet is sandwiched between the outermost layer constituting the design surface and the second layer.
- This molded product is curved in a direction orthogonal to the orientation direction of the continuous fiber bundle of the outermost layer.
- This molded product is used, for example, as a part or casing part of a personal computer, an OA device, a mobile phone or the like.
- a molded product is relatively small, and a wind turbine blade is not particularly described as an application of the molded product.
- Wind turbine blades used for wind power generation are required to have high strength, light weight, and high durability.
- Patent Document 2 discloses a wind turbine blade in which a spar cap, which is a main strength member of the blade, is disposed between or inside the outer skin layers.
- the spar cap is formed separately from the wing (wind turbine blade main body).
- a wind turbine blade is obtained by disposing the spar cap on the mold together with the dry fiber for the outer skin layer and the sandwich core material and impregnating the resin while evacuating.
- An object of the present invention is to provide a fiber reinforced sheet having excellent strength. Another object of the present invention is to provide a structure having excellent strength.
- a resin non-impregnated fiber bundle part having a surface not containing resin and a resin part-impregnated fiber bundle part having a surface not impregnated with resin.
- a first surface and a second surface opposite to the first surface, and a sheet body portion and at least one protruding from the sheet body portion on the first surface side There is provided a fiber reinforced sheet comprising a protrusion, and including the resin-unimpregnated fiber bundle part or the resin part-impregnated fiber bundle part on at least one of the first surface and the second surface.
- the protrusion includes the resin.
- the protruding portion includes a fiber bundle-free resin portion that does not include a fiber bundle.
- the fiber-reinforced sheet does not include or includes a resin-impregnated fiber bundle portion having a surface impregnated with a resin, and the protruding portion includes the fiber bundle.
- An uncontaining resin part, and the protrusion includes the resin-unimpregnated fiber bundle part, the resin part-impregnated fiber bundle part, or the resin-impregnated fiber bundle part.
- the resin-containing part is located, and the resin-unimpregnated fiber bundle part, the resin part-impregnated fiber bundle part, or the resin-impregnated fiber bundle part is located on the surface part of the ridge part.
