Abstract

From DE 87 10 244 U1 an extension table with a divided table top is known, which is formed by two half-round plate halves. The extension table has a table frame with an H-shaped central part, which is formed by two mutually parallel telescopic spars. Two pull-out elements, each carrying one of the semicircular tabletop halves, are connected by the telescopic struts with the H-shaped central part and on both sides extendable to this.

The invention has for its object to provide a pull-out in which a flexible extension of the extension table is made possible by the extension mechanism at least in length and over known extension tables a much longer extension length is reached.

This object is achieved by an extension table in which the cassette-shaped receiving portion of the central part has an open support structure, which is formed by two parallel support members, which are spaced by interposed transverse webs to each other and the transverse webs for each pull-out element having a guide. As a result, an extension mechanism is formed for an extension table, which offers an extension possibility on both sides of the middle part and has a simple structural design. For this purpose, the end sections are arranged lying side by side in the respective cassette-shaped receiving sections and guided therein. As a result, a compact arrangement of the end sections in the cassette-shaped receiving sections is made possible in which, despite a large extension length of the extension table, very compact dimensions of the pull-out mechanism are achieved. In addition, an extension table is thereby formed, in which no additional table legs must be provided on the extension table despite a large extension length.

According to an advantageous development of the extension table, at least two end sections of the pull-out element are arranged in each cassette-shaped receiving section, and the end sections of the two pull-out elements pull-out in the opposite direction are arranged next to one another nested in the respective cassette-shaped receiving section. Due to the nested alignment of the end portions in the cassette-shaped receiving portions, a pull-out mechanism is formed in which a high rigidity of the entire table frame is achieved both in the unstretched state and in the extended state.

In a further advantageous embodiment of the extension table is provided that the transverse webs and the support elements are aligned vertically and the transverse webs are arranged at right angles to the support elements. By virtue of this design of the receiving section, a high rigidity of the cassette-shaped receiving section is provided by the vertically arranged transverse webs and supporting elements despite a low use of material and a low weight associated therewith. The receiving portion may also have a closed shape, whereby the rigidity is increased again.

In a preferred embodiment of the extension table a plurality of guides are provided which receive the end portions of the pull-out elements. The guides are preferably provided at regular intervals along the respective receiving portion of the central part. Likewise, the guides may be arranged in the receiving portions at arbitrary intervals from each other. Corresponding to the respective extension length of the extension table, the end sections of the extension elements are received either by all guides or only part of the guides, wherein in the maximum extended state the end sections of the extension elements are held by at least two guides of the cassette-shaped receiving section. As a result, the end sections are always held by several guides at each extension length, whereby a rigid construction of the extension table is achieved even in the extended state.

In an advantageous embodiment of the extension table, the guides are formed by at least one opening, notch, groove or a slot in the respective transverse web, which hold the end portions of the pull-out by at least partially encompassing. The guides of the transverse webs may also be formed by a plurality of juxtaposed openings, notches, grooves or slots, in which the end portions of the pull-out elements can be inserted or inserted. For holding and guiding the end sections, the guides surround the end sections completely or at least partially. As a result, the transverse webs fulfill a dual function in which they form part of the supporting structure of the receiving sections and at the same time constitute the guides for receiving the end sections of the extending elements. As a result, a simple constructive structure of the receiving sections is achieved, in which a minimal use of material combined with a low total weight of the extension table is achieved.

Particularly preferably, the receiving portions of the central part are arranged on the longitudinal sides of the central part and spaced by transverse struts to each other. The cross braces provide a connection between the at least two receiving portions, whereby a closed, rigid frame construction is formed, which forms the central part. Preferably, the middle part is formed as a rectangular frame.

In a further advantageous embodiment of the extension table is provided that the end portions of the pull-out elements are designed as vertical swords. Due to the vertical orientation of the sword-shaped end portions, these can absorb maximum moments and carrying forces, whereby bending of the extension elements in the extended state of the extension table is prevented and a torsionally rigid extension mechanism is formed.

In a preferred embodiment of the extension table, at least one extension element is provided at least on one of the two pull-out elements, whose respective end sections facing the middle section are received by the receiving sections of the central section and by at least one bearing point on the pull-out element. Due to the extension element, the extension table comprises a further extension possibility in addition to the pull-out elements. The extension table thus offers the possibility of a two-stage extension. In the first extension stage, either only the extension element or only the extension element is pulled out to the desired extension length. When you pull the pull-out the extension element is pulled out on the extension length of the puller with at the same time, since the extension element is connected by the bearing with the pull-out. In the second extension stage, on the one hand, the pull-out element is pulled out to the middle part and, in addition, the extension element in turn extends to the pull-out element in order to reach a further extension step. Thus, the maximum extension length of the extension table is reached. The end portions of the extension element are held by the guides in the receiving portions and are additionally supported by the at least one bearing points on the extension and guided by this. As a result, a further guide for the end portions of the extension element is formed in addition to the guides of the receiving portions, which represents a further support for the extension element in particular in the extended state. As a result, a stiffer construction is achieved in the extended state. Alternatively it can be provided on the pull-out also a holding device, which is formed for example as a tubular or channel-shaped slot. In this slot, the end portions of the extension member are inserted or inserted to hold and guide the end portions of the extension member. The end portions of the extension elements are thus not held in this holding device directly from the guides of the receiving portions.

Particularly preferably, an extension element is provided on both extension elements. As a result, the extension table on both sides of the middle part can be extended in two stages. The pull-out elements or the at least one extension element or both are formed in an advantageous embodiment of the extension table as a U-shaped frame. In this case, the two free legs of the U-shaped frame form the end sections of the pull-out elements or of the at least one extension element, which are held by the receiving sections on the central part.

According to a preferred embodiment of the extension table, the end sections of the extension elements or of the at least one extension element substantially correspond to the length of the receiving section of the middle section or are formed longer than the receiving section. As a result, a maximum possible length of the end portions of the pull-out element or the extension element is given, by which a maximum extension length can be achieved. In addition, a maximum portion of the end portions is thereby received by the receiving portions, so that a stable and torsionally rigid connection between the extension element and the central part, in particular in the extended state of the table, is created. The extendable length of the extension table is determined by the length of the end portions of the extension elements and the extension elements and the length of the receiving portions of the central part.

In a particularly preferred embodiment, at least one table leg is arranged on the pull-out element or the at least one extension element, whereby a table frame is formed which is supported only by the pull-out elements or the extension elements of the table legs arranged on these. The table legs can be detachably connected to the pull-out element or the at least one extension element in order to enable rapid disassembly, for example for transport.

An advantageous embodiment of the extension table provides that at regular intervals lateral insertion openings in the end portions of the Ausziehelemente, the end portions of the at least one extension element or in at least one support member of the middle part are provided, in which a flush alignment of the insertion openings to each other, a blind plug for locking the Ausziehelemente or the at least one extension element is used. Fixing devices for holding the at least two plate halves of the table top are provided on the table frame in a preferred embodiment. In an extended state, the extension table can be extended by at least one plate-shaped, loose tabletop segment, which is likewise received by the fixation devices. The two plate halves of the table top or the tabletop segment are detachably connected by the fixing means to the table frame and can be arranged in the extended state of the extension table flexible in different positions on the table frame.

Particularly preferably, at least one fixing pin can be inserted into a bore on the middle part, the pull-out element or the at least one extension element, which receives the at least two plate halves of the table top or the at least one plate-shaped, loose table top segment. The fixing means may be formed by a plurality of fixing pins, which are inserted into a corresponding number of holes on the table frame and on which the at least two plate halves of the table top or the at least one plate-shaped, loose table top segment placed, placed or plugged. The fixing pins are either loosely inserted into the holes or have a thread by means of which the fixing pins are screwed into the holes. Alternatively, the fixing pins may be held by a magnetic connection in the holes of the table frame.

The at least one fixing pin has, in an advantageous embodiment, a fastening extension which engages in at least one through hole of the at least two plate halves of the table top or of the at least one plate-shaped, loose table top segment. By engaging the fastening extension in the at least one through hole of the plate halves or the at least one plate-shaped, loose table top segment they are held in a non-slip position and can be aligned exactly to each other. The attachment extension may also have a non-slip support element for the at least two plate halves or the at least one tabletop segment on which they are placed and held non-slip.

Preferably, the attachment extension of the fixing pin has a concave or convex shape, which is formed by a provided on the attachment extension plastic sleeve or rubber sleeve and which corresponds to the at least one through hole in the at least two plate halves of the table top or the at least one plate-shaped, loose table top segment. When placing the table top on the attachment extension thus takes place a locking between the attachment extension of the fixing pin and the table top, through which the table top is held particularly tight and still can be solved easily without tools from the fixing device. According to a preferred development of the extension table, at least one lateral projection element is provided for receiving and laterally arranging a further table top segment on the table top, whose end sections are formed by the lateral insertion openings in the at least one support element of the middle section, the end sections of the extension elements or the end sections of the at least one extension element are included. In addition to the possibility of changing the extension table in length by means of the pull-out elements and the at least one extension element, the laterally attachable projection elements offer the possibility of widening the extension table in width. The lateral extension of the extension table can be done both in the extended state and in the undressed state. For lateral expansion of the table surface, the end portions of the cantilever elements are inserted into the lateral insertion openings. Characterized in that a plurality of insertion openings are provided on the central part, the end portions of the Ausziehelemente and the end portions of the extension element, a plurality or even a cantilever element can be arranged on the extension table.

The at least one cantilever element is advantageously designed as a U-shaped frame. In this case, the legs of the U-shaped frame form the end portions of the cantilever element, which are received by the insertion openings on the central part, the end portions of the Ausziehelemente or the end portions of the at least one extension element. The end portions of the cantilever may have different lengths, so that in a long formation of the end portions of a cantilever this protrudes on both sides of the Ausziehisches against the central part, the Ausziehelementen or the extension element. As a result, a lateral extension on both sides of the extension table is made possible by a cantilever element. With a short design of the end sections of a cantilever element, a widening of the extension table can also take place only on one side.

Preferably, the cantilever is formed by at least three swords, which are assembled by a detachable connection to the U-shaped cantilever. The detachable connection allows easy and quick disassembly of the cantilever element in the three individual swords, whereby the cantilever occupies a small footprint when not in use.

Particularly preferably, the releasable connection between the swords of the Auskragelementes is designed as a tine connection, pin connection or comb connection, wherein the swords have at least one end in each case a bore which can be plugged together to form a common bore, in which the at least one fixing pin for holding and releasing the connection can be used or screwed. Alternatively, the fixing pin can also be held by a magnetic connection in the bore. As a result, a releasable plug connection is created, which represents a firm and rigid connection by the intermeshing of the tines, pins or combs and inserted into the hole, screwed or magnetically held fixing pin.

In an advantageous embodiment of the extension table, the middle part is substantially formed as a rectangular frame in which the at least one plate-shaped, loose table top segment, the at least three swords, the at least one table leg, the fixing pins or all are arranged together in a stowed position. In a non-use of individual parts or in a transport of the entire extension table, the individual elements of the extension table can be taken together or individually from the central part and stowed in this.

According to a further advantageous embodiment of the extension table, a first holding device for receiving and holding the at least one plate-shaped, loose table top segment is provided on the central part. This is formed for example by at least four arranged on the support elements of the receiving portion pins, which are opposite to each other in pairs and on which the at least one plate-shaped, loose tabletop segment can be placed. Alternatively, strips or transverse struts may be provided on the support elements of the middle part, on which the tabletop segments are placed when not in use. The holding device allows the accommodation of several table top segments in the central part. The tabletop segments are stacked one above the other supported by the holding device. Unneeded tabletop segments can thus be stowed directly in the middle part and taken out quickly in an extension of the table surface.

At least one second holding device for receiving and holding the at least three swords or the at least one table leg, which is formed for example by at least one bracket, hook or trailer, is preferably provided on the middle part. The holding device is arranged for example on the support elements of the receiving portion. When not using the swords or table legs these can all be taken together by the support device and removed if necessary. In a transport of the extending table next to the tabletop segments thus the swords and legs are housed in the middle part, so that a compact arrangement is created.

According to a preferred embodiment of the extension table, the at least two plate halves of the table top each have a length L and width L and consisting of two plate halves table top forms a basic size of the extension table with a length of 2xL and a width L. These length ratios are the plate halves on the dimensions of the table frame and the fixtures provided thereon matched, so that the plate halves can be flexibly placed at a corresponding extension length on the fixing devices on the table frame.

According to a further preferred embodiment of the extension table at least one plate-shaped, loose table top segment is provided as enlarging or broadening element, which has a length L and a width 1 / 3xL or a length L and a width 2 / 3xL. It can also be provided at least one table top segment of both sizes, whereby a flexible and modular extension and / or broadening of the extension table is possible. The length L of the at least one table top segment is adapted to the at least two plate halves of the table top, so that the at least one plate-shaped, loose table top segment can be arranged on the at least two plate halves of the table top. The width 1 / 3xL or 2 / 3xL of the at least one loose table top segment makes it possible to extend the extension table by the length 1 / 3xL or 2 / 3xL. If two or more table top segments are provided to extend the extension table, an extension length can be achieved which is a corresponding multiple of 1 / 3xL or 2 / 3xL. To expand the extension table, the at least one loose tabletop segment is placed on or between the at least two plate halves of the tabletop on the fixing devices.

According to a preferred embodiment of the extension table is provided that the basic size of the extension table is expandable by 267%. Figure 1 shows a perspective view of the extension table 10 in the partially extended state in a schematic representation. The extension table 10 comprises a table frame 11, which is formed by a central part 12. At the middle part 12 are each two Ausziehelemente 13 and two extension elements 14 are arranged laterally. The middle part 12 is formed as a rectangular frame, on the two longitudinal sides of two cassette-shaped receiving portions 16 are provided which are interconnected by two transverse struts 17. The two cassette-shaped receiving portion 16 are each formed by two mutually parallel support members 18 which are vertically aligned. The support elements 18 are connected to each other by transverse webs 19 and uniformly spaced. The transverse webs 19 are arranged at regular intervals in the receiving portions 16, but may also be positioned in any number and at any distance from each other. By the vertically arranged support members 18 and the transverse webs 19, an open support structure is formed, in which the receiving portions 16 are designed to be open at the top and bottom. The transverse webs 19 have guides 21, which are designed as vertically arranged, slot-shaped openings, wherein in each case a plurality of guides 21 are arranged side by side lying in the transverse webs 19. The guides 21 of the respective transverse webs 19 are aligned with each other in a line.

At the end faces of the central part 12, the two opposing pull-out elements 13 are provided, which are shown in this figure in a partially extended state. The pull-out elements 13 are configured as U-shaped frames, whose two lateral limbs form end sections 22. The end portions 13 are designed as vertically oriented swords. The end portions 22 are received by the receiving portions 16 on the central part 12 and inserted into the slot-shaped guides 21 of the transverse webs 19. The length of the end portions 22 substantially corresponds to the length of the receiving portion 16, but may also be shorter or longer than the receiving portion 16 configured.

At the two extension elements 13 each two legs 23 are arranged. In Figure 1, three different embodiments of table legs 23 are shown. On the extension table 10, for example, round, square or square legs 23 can be arranged. Alternatively, the round table leg 23 can be inserted into a rectangular or square table leg having a through-hole. In a further alternative embodiment of the table leg 23, this may have an obliquely outwardly extending central portion. As a result, an enlarged footprint is achieved in order to increase the stability of the extension table 10, in particular in the extended state. At the two extension elements 13 and only one table leg 23 may be provided, which is arranged for example centrally on the pull-out 13 and has a widened base or is designed as a plate-shaped support leg.

At the end faces of the central part 12, the two extension elements 14 are additionally arranged. The extension elements 14 are configured as U-shaped frame, form the two lateral leg end portions 22. Like the end portions 22 of the extension members 13, the end portions 22 of the extension members 14 are also formed as vertically aligned swords received by the receiving portions 16 on the central portion 12. The end portions 22 of the extension elements 14 are inserted into the slot-shaped guides 21 of the transverse webs 19. Thus, the end portions 22 of the extension members 13 and the extension members 14 are arranged side by side in the receiving portion 16.

At the same time, the end sections 22 of the extension elements 14 are supported by a respective bearing point 24 on the end face of the pull-out element 13. The bearings 24 are formed as slot-shaped openings into which the end portions 22 of the extension element 14 are inserted. When the extension element 14 is loaded, the forces are thereby absorbed both by the transverse webs 19 in the receiving section 16 and by the bearing points 24 on the pull-out element 13.

In the maximum extended state of the extension element 14, the respective end portions 22 of the extension element 14 are received both by the bearing 24 and at least one guide 21 of the crosspiece 19, so that always at least two breakpoints for the end portions 22 of the extension member 14 are formed.

On the support elements 18 and the end portions 22 of the extension elements 13 and extension elements 14 side insertion openings 26 are provided. The insertion openings 26 are arranged at regular intervals, in each case two insertion openings 26 are provided in pairs next to each other. The arrangement of the insertion openings 26 will be discussed in more detail below.

In the unexpanded state, the insertion openings 26 are aligned so that they are aligned in a line to each other to a plug-in element, such as. a blind plug 59 to be inserted into this (shown in Fig. 6). As a result, a lock between the middle part 12, the pull-out 13 and the extension member 14 is made, in which an accidental pulling out of the pull-out element 13 or extension member 14 is prevented from the receiving portion 16. In the extended state, the insertion openings 26 are also aligned with each other so that the pull-out element 13, the extension member 14 and the middle part 12 are fixed to each other by inserting the dummy plug.

As FIG. 1 shows, cantilever elements 27 can alternatively be inserted into the lateral insertion openings 26. The protruding element 27 serves to receive a table top segment 29, by means of which a lateral extension of the table surface is made possible. The cantilever element 27 is designed as a U-shaped frame, which is formed by three vertically aligned swords 31. The lateral swords of the U-shaped projection member 27 are inserted into the mutually aligned insertion openings 26. As a result, the swords 31 take over the locking function of the dummy plug 59 and fix the pull-out element 13, the extension element 14 and the middle part 12 to one another.

In a further embodiment, not shown, of the extension table 10, an alternative holding device for the extension elements 14 may be configured in such a way that the end portions 22 of the extension elements 14 are not received by the guides 21 in the holding portion 16, but by the holding device, which on the Extraction elements is provided. In this alternative holding device, for example, the end sections 22 of the pull-out elements 13 are designed as tubes which have an opening on the front side of the pull-out element 13. In this frontal opening, the end portions 22 of the extension members 14 are inserted, so that they are held extendable from the tubes.

Figure 2 shows a plan view of the extension table 10 in the maximum extended state. In this state of the extension table 10, both the pull-out elements 13 and the extension elements 14 are pulled out towards the central part 12, wherein the extension elements 14 are extended to such an extent that the end sections 22 of the extension elements 14 are still held by two guides 21.
