Definitions
- the present invention relates to a transmission.
- the multi-plate friction type hydraulic clutch includes, for example, a plurality of friction plates fitted to the clutch hub spline so as to be movable in the axial direction, and a plurality of separator plates fitted to the spline of the clutch drum so as to be movable in the axial direction. And a piston capable of axially pressing or releasing the friction plates and the separator plates arranged alternately.
- the friction plates and separator plates come into contact with each other by pushing the friction plates and separator plates, in which the pistons are alternately arranged, in the axial direction. That is, the friction plate and the separator plate are frictionally engaged, and the rotating elements respectively connected to the clutch hub and the clutch drum can rotate integrally.
- the friction plate and the separator plate are released by moving away from the friction plate and the separator plate in which the pistons are alternately arranged.
- the rotating elements respectively connected to the clutch hub and the clutch drum relatively rotate (idle).
- the oil supply hole formed in the oil supply groove (tooth bottom portion) of the spline of the clutch hub is the same as the oil supply hole on the end plate side.
- the number of oil supply holes on the clutch piston side is larger than the number. This prevents the occurrence of burn-in, follow-up, and cutting defects due to poor lubrication.
- Patent Document 2 there is a hub in which the number of oil supply holes is changed from the clutch piston side to the end plate side, and the number of oil supply holes on the piston side is larger than that on the backing plate side.
- the separator plate and the friction plate that are closest to the clutch piston cannot be quickly separated from the other separator plates and the friction plate, so that the pack clearance cannot be secured, which is not effective in improving the efficiency (fuel consumption). It is enough.
- a transmission according to an aspect of the present invention includes a clutch hub, a clutch drum, a plurality of internal friction plates, a plurality of external friction plates, and a piston.
- the clutch hub has a first outer peripheral surface provided with a first spline extending in the axial direction, and a first inner peripheral surface located on the opposite side of the first outer peripheral surface and facing the hydraulic oil supply section.
- a plurality of oil holes are provided to connect between the first inner peripheral surface and the first outer peripheral surface.
- the clutch drum accommodates at least a part of the clutch hub rotatably with respect to the clutch hub, and has a second inner peripheral surface provided with a second spline extending in the axial direction.
- the inner friction plate is spline-fitted to the first spline.
- the outer friction plates are spline-fitted to the second splines and are alternately arranged with the plurality of inner friction plates in the axial direction.
- the piston presses the plurality of inner friction plates and the outer friction plate.
- the plurality of oil holes are closest to the piston in the axial direction and are arranged side by side in the circumferential direction, and from the piston more than the plurality of first oil holes in the axial direction.
- a plurality of distant oil holes, and the hydraulic oil can be supplied between the plurality of inner friction plates and the outer friction plates.
- the number of the other plurality of oil holes arranged in the circumferential direction at a position farther from the piston than the plurality of first oil holes in the axial direction is Less than the number of the plurality of first oil holes.
- the present invention since a large amount of hydraulic oil is supplied from the first oil hole when the piston is started to return to release the clutch, it is adjacent to the outer friction plate or the inner friction plate closest to the piston. Hydraulic oil can be supplied between the outer friction plate or the inner friction plate, and the outer friction plate and the inner friction plate can be separated from each other more quickly. That is, when the outer friction plate and the inner friction plate are released from the engaged state, the lubricating oil supplied to the outer friction plate and the inner friction plate closest to the piston can be maximized, and the closest to the piston. The outer friction plate and the inner friction plate can be pulled away from the other outer friction plates and the inner friction plate more quickly, and the pack can be opened. Therefore, drag loss is reduced and the efficiency (fuel consumption) of the transmission can be improved.

- the number of the first supply oil holes 408a is larger than the number of each of the second to fourth supply oil holes 408b to 408d. Therefore, the amount of hydraulic oil that exits from the first supply oil hole 408a is greater than the amount of hydraulic oil that exits from each of the second to fourth supply oil holes 408b to 408d.
- the first oil supply hole 408a is provided at a position closest to the piston 440 in the axial direction of the clutch hub 400 (automatic transmission 25). - the hydraulic fluid discharged from the discharge hole 411o is supplied from the clutch hub of the clutch C3 between the friction plate and the separator plate of the clutch C3.
- the hydraulic oil is supplied from the supply oil path 406 to the cooling oil chamber 405.
- the hydraulic oil flows through the plurality of flow paths 407 and is supplied to the plurality of supply oil holes 408.
- the first supply oil holes 408a provided in the first and fifth splines 403a and 403e are provided side by side with the third supply oil holes 408c in the axial direction of the clutch hub 400.
- the third supply oil hole 408 c is closer to the supply oil path 406 than the first supply oil hole 408 a in the axial direction of the clutch hub 400.
- the hydraulic oil flowing through the flow path 407 corresponding to the first and fifth splines 403a and 403e is supplied to the third supply oil hole 408c first, and is difficult to be supplied to the first supply oil hole 408a. Accordingly, the amount of hydraulic oil that exits from the first supply oil hole 408a provided in the first and fifth splines 403a and 403e is extremely smaller than the amount of hydraulic oil that exits from the third supply oil hole 408c.
- the first supply oil holes 408a provided in the third and seventh splines 403c and 403g are provided independently in the axial direction of the clutch hub 400. - the number of first supply oil holes 408a through which hydraulic oil exits in the open state is as follows. , Substantially 10 pieces. That is, the number of first supply oil holes 408a through which hydraulic oil exits is substantially the same as the number of third supply oil holes 408c.
- the second supply oil holes 408b provided in the second, fourth, and sixth splines 403b, 403d, and 403f are provided independently in the axial direction of the clutch hub 400. For this reason, the hydraulic oil flowing through the flow path 407 corresponding to the second, fourth, and sixth splines 403b, 403d, and 403f is supplied to the second supply oil hole 408b.
- the fourth supply oil hole 408d provided in the eighth spline 403h is provided independently in the axial direction of the clutch hub 400. For this reason, the hydraulic oil flowing through the flow path 407 corresponding to the eighth spline 403h is supplied to the fourth supply oil hole 408d.
- the hydraulic oil flowing through the flow path 407 corresponding to the third and seventh splines 403c and 403g is substantially supplied to the ten first supply oil holes 408a.
- the hydraulic oil is supplied from the ten first supply oil holes 408 a, for example, between the separator plate 430 and the friction plate 420 close to the piston 440.
- the hydraulic fluid that flows through the flow path 407 corresponding to the second, fourth, and sixth splines 403b, 403d, and 403f is supplied to the fifteen second supply oil holes 408b.
- the hydraulic oil is supplied from the fifteen second supply oil holes 408 b to the friction plate 420 and the separator plate located around the center in the axial direction of the automatic transmission 25. 430.
- the number of the second supply holes 408b is larger than the number of each of the first, third, and fourth supply holes 408a, 408b, and 408d. For this reason, the amount of hydraulic oil that exits from the second supply hole 408b is greater than the amount of hydraulic oil that exits from each of the first, third, and fourth supply holes 408a, 408b, and 408d.
- the friction plate 420 and the separator plate 430 that are located around the center in the axial direction of the automatic transmission 25 have a higher temperature than the other friction plates 420 and the separator plates 430. Prone. However, since the amount of hydraulic oil that exits from the second supply hole 408b is relatively large, the friction plate 420 and the separator plate 430 located around the center are sufficiently cooled by the hydraulic oil. Note that the number of second supply holes 408b may be the same as the number of third supply holes 408c, for example.
- the hydraulic fluid that flows through the flow path 407 corresponding to the first and fifth splines 403a and 403e is supplied to the ten third supply oil holes 408c.
- the hydraulic oil is supplied between the friction plates 420 and the separator plate 430 on the first and second planetary gear mechanisms 30 and 35 side (left side in FIG. 7), for example, from the ten third supply oil holes 408c. .
- the hydraulic fluid flowing through the flow path 407 corresponding to the eighth spline 403h is supplied to the fourth supply oil hole 408d.
- the supply oil is supplied from the five fourth supply oil holes 408d, for example, between the friction plate 420 and the backing plate 450 closest to the first and second planetary gear mechanisms 30 and 35.
- the hydraulic oil supplied from the fourth supply oil hole 408d cools one side of the friction plate 420 and one side of the backing plate 450. Therefore, the number of the fourth supply oil holes 408d is smaller than the number of the first to third supply oil holes 408a to 408c for supplying the hydraulic oil for cooling the plurality of surfaces of the friction plate 420 and the separator plate 430. However, the friction plate 420 and the backing plate 450 are sufficiently cooled.
- the supply oil is supplied from the first to fourth supply oil holes 408a to 408d between the plurality of friction plates 420 and the plurality of separator plates 430, the plurality of friction plates 420 and the plurality of separator plates are provided.
- the respective distances to and from 430 are approximately uniform.
- the plurality of supply oil holes 408 of the clutch hub 400 are the first supply oil holes 408a closest to the piston 440 in the axial direction and the first supply in the axial direction. There is a third supply oil hole 408c farther from the piston 440 than the oil hole 408a, closer to the supply oil path 406 than the first supply oil hole 408a, and fewer in number than the first supply oil hole 408a. At least one of the plurality of first supply oil holes 408a is provided independently in the axial direction, while at least one of the plurality of first supply oil holes 408a and the third supply oil hole 408c are in the axial direction. Are provided side by side.
- the friction plate 420 and the separator plate 430 can move, so that hydraulic oil is supplied between the friction plate 420 and the separator plate 430 from the plurality of supply oil holes 408. Is done.
- the plurality of first supply oil holes 408a supply hydraulic oil from a position closest to the piston 440 in the axial direction.
- the third supply oil hole 408c supplies hydraulic oil from a position farther from the piston 440 than the first supply oil hole 408a.
- the hydraulic oil supplied between the separator plate 430 and the friction plate 420 closest to the piston 440 from the first supply oil holes 408a Since the number of the third supply oil holes 408c is smaller than that of the first supply oil holes 408a, the hydraulic oil supplied between the separator plate 430 and the friction plate 420 closest to the piston 440 from the first supply oil holes 408a. The amount is larger than the amount of hydraulic oil supplied between the separator plate 430 and the friction plate 420 from the third supply oil hole 408c. Therefore, the hydraulic oil supplied from the first supply oil hole 408a pushes the separator plate 430 closest to the piston 440 more than the hydraulic oil supplied from the third supply oil hole 408c pushes the separator plate 430. Is also strong.
- the separator plate 430 that is closest to the piston 440 has a force greater than the force by which the hydraulic oil supplied from the third supply oil hole 408c pushes the separator plate 430 by the hydraulic oil supplied from the first supply oil hole 408a.
- Pushed toward the separated piston 440 the distance (total pack clearance) between the separator plate 430 closest to the piston 440 and the backing plate 450 located on the opposite side of the separator plate 430 in the axial direction is greatly increased. Accordingly, the plurality of separator plates 430 and the plurality of friction plates 420 can be separated from each other more quickly by the hydraulic oil supplied from the plurality of supply oil holes 408.
- hydraulic oil is supplied between the friction plate 420 and the separator plate 430 from the plurality of supply oil holes 408.
- the At least one of the first supply oil holes 408a and the third supply oil hole 408c are provided side by side in the axial direction. Therefore, the hydraulic oil supplied from the supply oil passage 406 enters the third supply oil hole 408c closer to the supply oil passage 406 in the axial direction, and is aligned in the axial direction with respect to the third supply oil hole 408c. It is difficult to enter the first supply oil hole 408a. On the other hand, hydraulic oil tends to enter the first supply oil hole 408a provided independently in the axial direction.
- first supply oil holes 408a for supplying hydraulic oil between the friction plate 420 and the separator plate 430 is reduced, and the first supply oil holes 408a are supplied between the friction plate 420 and the separator plate 430.
- the amount of hydraulic oil and the amount of hydraulic oil supplied between the friction plate 420 and the separator plate 430 from the third supply oil holes 408c, which are smaller in number than the first supply oil holes 408a, are closer. Thereby, the distance (pack clearance) between the plurality of friction plates 420 and the plurality of separator plates 430 can be made more uniform.
- the plurality of supply oil holes 408 connect between the flow line 407 provided on the first inner peripheral surface 401 i of the clutch hub 400 and the spline 403. For this reason, the hydraulic oil supplied from the supply oil path 406 flows in the axial direction through the flow path 407. Thereby, in the flow path 407 in which the first and third supply oil holes 408a and 408c are opened, the hydraulic oil enters the third supply oil hole 408c more reliably and hardly enters the first supply oil hole 408a. Accordingly, the number of first supply oil holes 408a for supplying hydraulic oil between the friction plate 420 and the separator plate 430 is more reliably reduced, and the supply is performed between the friction plate 420 and the separator plate 430 from the first supply oil holes 408a. The amount of hydraulic oil to be supplied and the amount of hydraulic oil supplied between the friction plate 420 and the separator plate 430 from the third supply oil holes 408c, which are smaller in number than the first supply oil holes 408a, can be made closer. It becomes possible.
- the supply oil hole 408 is farther from the piston 440 than the first supply oil hole 408a, is closer to the supply oil path 406 than the first supply oil hole 408a, and is provided at least one second provided independently.
- a supply oil hole 408b is provided.
- the hydraulic oil is supplied between the friction plate 420 and the separator plate 430 also from the second supply oil hole 408b provided independently in the axial direction. Accordingly, even when the number of the friction plates 420 and the separator plates 430 is large, the hydraulic oil is more efficiently supplied between the friction plates 420 and the separator plates 430, and the plurality of friction plates 420 and the plurality of separator plates 430. It becomes possible to make the distance (pack clearance) between 430 more uniform.
- the second supply oil hole 408b is provided between the first supply oil hole 408a and the third supply oil hole 408c in the axial direction. Thereby, the distance between the first supply oil hole 408a and the third supply oil hole 408c provided side by side in the axial direction becomes longer, and the possibility that the strength of the clutch hub 400 is reduced is reduced.
- the supply oil hole 408 connects the top surface of the spline 403 and the flow path 407.
- the supply oil hole 408 is not limited thereto, and for example, the outer peripheral surface 401o of the cylindrical portion 401 (the bottom surface of the spline 403) and the inner peripheral surface 401i of the cylindrical portion 401 may be connected.
- the transmission of this embodiment includes a clutch hub, a clutch drum, a plurality of inner friction plates, a plurality of outer friction plates, and a piston.
- the clutch hub has a first outer peripheral surface provided with a first spline extending in the axial direction, and a first inner peripheral surface located on the opposite side of the first outer peripheral surface and facing the hydraulic oil supply section. A plurality of oil holes are provided to connect between the first inner peripheral surface and the first outer peripheral surface.
- the plurality of oil holes of the clutch hub are closer to the piston in the axial direction and are arranged side by side in the circumferential direction than the plurality of first oil holes in the axial direction.
- a plurality of other oil holes far from the piston is the number of the plurality of first oil holes.
- positioned along with the circumferential direction from the position far from a piston rather than a 1st oil hole supplies hydraulic fluid. Since the number of other oil holes is smaller than that of the first oil holes, the amount of hydraulic oil supplied from the first oil hole between the outer friction plate and the inner friction plate closest to the piston is different from that of the other oil holes. More than the amount of hydraulic oil supplied between the outer friction plate and the inner friction plate. For this reason, the hydraulic oil supplied from the first oil hole pushes the outer friction plate or the inner friction plate (external friction plate, etc.) closest to the piston. Stronger than the force of pressing a board. Therefore, the outer friction plate etc.
- the closest to the piston has a larger force than the force by which the hydraulic oil supplied from the other oil holes pushes the outer friction plate etc. by the hydraulic oil supplied from the first oil hole. It is pushed toward the piston spaced apart from the plate and the inner friction plate. That is, the distance (total pack clearance) between the outer friction plate or the like closest to the piston and the outer friction plate or the like located on the opposite side of the outer friction plate or the like in the axial direction is greatly increased. As a result, the plurality of outer friction plates and the plurality of inner friction plates can be more quickly separated from each other by the hydraulic oil supplied from the plurality of oil holes.
- the other plurality of oil holes are arranged closer to the supply unit than the first oil holes in the axial direction, arranged side by side in the circumferential direction, and more than the first oil holes.
- the plurality of oil holes of the clutch hub include the plurality of first oil holes that are closest to the piston in the axial direction, and are farther from the piston than the first oil hole in the axial direction, and are more And a second oil hole that is close to the supply portion of the hydraulic oil and has a smaller number than the first oil hole.
- At least one of the plurality of first oil holes is provided independently in the axial direction, while at least one of the plurality of first oil holes and the second oil hole are provided side by side in the axial direction.
- hydraulic oil is supplied between the inner friction plate and the outer friction plate from the plurality of oil holes.
- At least one of the first oil holes and the second oil hole are provided side by side in the axial direction. For this reason, the hydraulic oil supplied from the supply part enters the second oil hole closer to the supply part in the axial direction, and hardly enters the first oil hole arranged in the axial direction with respect to the second oil hole.
- the hydraulic oil easily enters a first oil hole provided independently in the axial direction. For this reason, the number of first oil holes for supplying hydraulic oil between the inner friction plate and the outer friction plate is reduced, and the amount of hydraulic oil supplied from the first oil hole between the inner friction plate and the outer friction plate, The amount of hydraulic oil supplied between the inner friction plate and the outer friction plate from the second oil holes having a smaller number than the oil holes becomes closer. Thereby, the distance (pack clearance) between the plurality of inner friction plates and the plurality of outer friction plates can be made more uniform. Therefore, drag loss is reduced and the efficiency (fuel consumption) of the transmission can be improved.
- At least one of the first oil holes is provided in the axial direction independently of the second oil hole without being aligned in the axial direction, so that the first oil hole that is farthest from the supply unit is surely disposed in the first oil hole. Hydraulic oil can be supplied. Further, since at least one of the plurality of first oil holes and the second oil hole are provided side by side in the axial direction, when the piston presses the outer friction plate and the inner friction plate and the lubricating oil is difficult to be discharged, Since the hydraulic oil that has not been discharged through the two oil holes is supplied to the first oil hole, more hydraulic oil can be supplied to the first oil hole.
- a large amount of hydraulic oil can be discharged from the first oil hole, so that the outer friction plate closest to the piston or the outer friction plate adjacent to the inner friction plate Alternatively, hydraulic oil can be supplied between the inner friction plates and the outer friction plates and the inner friction plates can be separated from each other more quickly.
- a plurality of grooves provided in positions corresponding to the first splines and extending in the axial direction are provided on the first inner peripheral surface of the clutch hub, and the plurality of oil holes are It is preferable to connect between the groove and the first spline.
- the plurality of oil holes connect between the groove provided in the first inner peripheral surface of the clutch hub and the first spline. For this reason, the hydraulic oil supplied from the supply part flows through the groove in the axial direction. Thereby, in the groove
- the number of first oil holes for supplying hydraulic oil between the inner friction plate and the outer friction plate is more reliably reduced, and the amount of hydraulic oil supplied from the first oil hole between the inner friction plate and the outer friction plate; It becomes possible to make closer the amount of hydraulic oil supplied between the inner friction plate and the outer friction plate from the second oil holes having a smaller number than the first oil holes.
- the other plurality of oil holes are provided closer to the supply unit than the first oil holes in the axial direction and are provided independently in the axial direction, and are arranged in the circumferential direction. It is preferable to have at least one third oil hole.
- the oil hole is farther from the piston than the first oil hole, is closer to the supply unit than the first oil hole, and includes at least one third oil hole provided independently.
- the hydraulic oil is supplied between the inner friction plate and the outer friction plate also from the third oil hole provided independently in the axial direction. Therefore, even when the number of the inner friction plates and the outer friction plates is large, the hydraulic oil is supplied more efficiently between the inner friction plates and the outer friction plates, and the plurality of inner friction plates and the plurality of outer friction plates are It becomes possible to make the distance between the plates (pack clearance) more uniform.
- the third oil hole is provided between the first oil hole and the second oil hole in the axial direction, and has a smaller number than the first oil hole, and the It is preferable that the number is larger than that of the second oil holes. According to this configuration, the third oil hole is provided between the first oil hole and the second oil hole in the axial direction. Thereby, the distance between the first oil hole and the second oil hole provided side by side in the axial direction becomes longer, and the possibility that the strength of the clutch hub is lowered is reduced.
- the other plurality of oil holes are farther from the piston than the inner friction plate farthest from the piston in the axial direction and farthest from the piston among the plurality of inner friction plates, It has at least one 4th oil hole arranged along with the peripheral direction, and the 1st oil hole, the 2nd oil hole, and the 3rd oil hole are the insides which are adjacent in the axial direction, respectively. It is preferable that the fourth oil hole is located between the friction plates and has a smaller number than the second oil hole. According to this configuration, the hydraulic fluid supplied from the first to third oil holes is supplied between one outer friction plate and two inner friction plates, and two inner friction plates are connected to the two inner friction plates. Pull away the friction plate.
- the hydraulic oil supplied from the fourth oil hole is supplied between the inner friction plate and the outer friction plate that are farthest from the piston, and separates one inner friction plate from one outer friction plate.
- the number of the fourth oil holes that supply the hydraulic oil that presses one inner friction plate is smaller than the second oil holes that supply the hydraulic oil that presses the two inner friction plates. For this reason, the amount of hydraulic oil that pushes the inner friction plate per unit becomes more uniform, and the distances between the plurality of outer friction plates and the plurality of inner friction plates become approximately uniform.
- the other plurality of oil holes are farthest from the piston in the axial direction and face the inner peripheral end surface of the outer friction plate farthest from the piston among the plurality of outer friction plates.
- the hydraulic oil is also supplied from the fourth oil hole between the outer friction plate and the inner friction plate that are farthest from the piston. Accordingly, the distance between the outer friction plate and the inner friction plate that is farthest from the piston is increased.

Abstract
