- the charging frequency of the capacitor 6a and the capacitor 6b in each boost mode of DC power supply device 100 will be described.
- the charging frequency of the capacitor 6a and the capacitor 6b is a period obtained by combining one set of charging period and non-charging period of the capacitor 6a and capacitor 6b, that is, one on period of the switching element 4a and switching element 4b.
- the switching frequency that is the reciprocal of this one cycle is shown.
- charge frequency is used to describe the capacitor 6a and the capacitor 6b as a main component
- switching frequency is used to describe the switching device 4a and the switching device 4b as a main component. explain.
- the charging frequency of the capacitor 6a and the capacitor 6b is controlled to be 3n times (n is a natural number) the three-phase AC frequency.
- the DC power supply device 100 sets the switching cycle to 1 / 3n times the three-phase AC cycle T, and sets the ON period Ton1 of the switching element 4a and the ON period Ton2 of the switching element 4b. Turn on control alternately. In this way, the distortion that appears in the current of each phase when switching control is performed occurs in the same phase for each phase, so the waveform of each phase current is shifted by 120 degrees with respect to the power cycle. A similar shape can be obtained, and the unbalance of each phase current of the three-phase alternating current can be eliminated.
- the switching frequency is set to a frequency other than 3n times the frequency of the three-phase alternating current
- the waveform of each phase current does not have a similar shape, and the unbalance of each phase current occurs.
- the switching control is performed in synchronization with the frequency of the three-phase alternating current, an unbalance of each phase current of the three-phase alternating current occurs.
- the switching frequency of the switching element 4a and the switching element 4b that is, the charging frequency of the capacitor 6a and the capacitor 6b to be 3n times the frequency of the three-phase alternating current
- Switching of the switching element 4a and the switching element 4b is performed in the same phase of each phase of the three-phase alternating current shifted by 120 degrees with respect to the power cycle. Therefore, even in the boost mode b in which the switching element 4a and the switching element 4b are simultaneously turned off, or in the boosting mode c in which the switching element 4a and the switching element 4b are simultaneously turned on, the waveform of each phase current of the three-phase alternating current Is similar. Therefore, the unbalance of each phase current does not occur, and the distortion rate of each phase current becomes a minimum value, and the power factor can be improved and the harmonic current can be suppressed.
- a power supply voltage detection unit (not shown) for detecting the power supply voltage is provided to detect the power supply voltage. It is possible to grasp the frequency of the AC power supply 1 by using the zero cross point of the power supply voltage detected by the unit. In addition, by performing switching operation at 3m times (m is a natural number) of 300Hz, which is the least common multiple of 50Hz and 60Hz, it is possible to eliminate the imbalance of each phase current without grasping the frequency of the AC power supply 1. In addition, it is not necessary to provide a power supply voltage detection unit, which contributes to cost reduction.
- the power factor and harmonic current of the DC power supply device are controlled at the charging timing (ON start phase Tdl1, ON start phase Tdl2) based on the three-phase AC reference phase of the charging unit 7.
- the on-start phase Tdl1, the on-start phase Tdl2, and the on-start phase Tdl are simply referred to as “Tdl1”, “Tdl2”, and “Tdl”.
- the on period Ton1, the on period Ton2, and the on period Ton are simply referred to as “Ton1”, “Ton2”, and “Ton”.
- JIS 61000-3-for the second to 40th harmonic components 100 to 2000 Hz when the frequency of the three-phase alternating current is 50 Hz) of the current flowing in each phase of the three-phase alternating current.
- harmonic generation is a ratio to the limit value of 2 (1 or less is less than the limit value).
- FIG. 5 shows the relationship between the harmonic generation standard value (vertical axis) and Tdl1 (horizontal axis).
- Five curves shown in FIG. 5 represent harmonic generation amount standard values corresponding to output powers having different values. It can be seen that the harmonic generation amount standard value corresponding to each output power changes according to the value of Tdl1 as in the illustrated example.
- Tdl1 at which the harmonic generation standard value is minimum as shown in the example is a different value depending on the output power. As in the illustrated example, Tdl1 at which the harmonic generation amount standard value is minimum shows a tendency to increase as the output power increases.
- the unit of Tdl1 is an angle deg. This is an angle when T / 3n is defined as 360 deg.
- FIG. 6 shows the relationship between the power factor (vertical axis) and Tdl1 (horizontal axis).
- the five curves shown in FIG. 6 represent power factors corresponding to different output powers.
- the power factor corresponding to each output power changes according to the value of Tdl1.
- the value of Tdl1 at which the power factor becomes the maximum is a constant value without being different depending on the output power.
- FIG. 7 shows Tdl1 (vertical axis) that minimizes the harmonic generation amount standard value when the output power (horizontal axis) is changed, and Tdl1 that maximizes the power factor when the output power is changed. It is shown.
- the condition that the harmonic generation amount standard value is the minimum (Tdl1 indicated by arrow A in FIG. 5) and the condition that the power factor is the maximum (Tdl1 indicated by arrow B in FIG. 6) are not necessarily the same. You can see that they do not match.
- Tdl1 tends to increase as the output power decreases (see FIG. 5), when the output power is small, Tdl1 is controlled so that the harmonic generation amount standard value is minimized.
- Tdl1 When the output power is large, Tdl1 is controlled (arrow in FIG. 6) so that the power factor is maximized (arrow in FIG. 6), so that the current value flowing through the three-phase alternating current at the time of large power can be reduced. If the DC power supply device 100 is configured in this manner, a margin is generated for the allowable current of a breaker (not shown), and the power supplied to the load 10 can be increased. And heating capacity can be improved.

- the driving signal generating unit 27a, the adding unit 29, the limiting unit 22b, and the second driving signal generating unit 27b are configured.
- the on-timing Tdl1 set so as to minimize the harmonic generation amount standard value or maximize the power factor is tabulated in association with the output power.

- the control unit 24a is a means for controlling the DC bus voltage Vdc to coincide with the bus voltage command value Vdc *, such as proportional control (P control), proportional integral control (PI control), proportional integral differential control (PID control). Any control means may be used.
- the output power shown in FIG. Tdl input directly from the outside of the control unit 8 and Tdl output from the Tdl data table 20a are input to the switching unit 21a.
- the directly input Tdl is a signal corresponding to Tdl1 that minimizes the harmonic generation amount standard value described above and Tdl1 that maximizes the power factor, and may be any means other than the Tdl data table 20a, for example, a feedback control system. (Not shown).
- Tdl that is directly input, the Tdl data table 20a becomes unnecessary, and the switching element 4a and the switching element 4b can be controlled with a simple configuration.
- the feedback control system may cause unstable operation due to the influence of noise or the like, using Tdl output from the Tdl data table 20a effectively reduces power factor and increases power supply harmonics. Can be suppressed.

- the output power of the DC power supply apparatus 100 is used as the reference signal S as an example, but the reference signal S is not limited to the output power. Instead of the output power, one or both of the DC bus voltage Vdc and the bus current detected by the bus current detection unit (not shown) may be used as the reference signal S. As another example, a voltage detected by a voltage detection unit (not shown) that detects a voltage value (input current) on the input side of a three-phase alternating current, and a current that detects a current value on the input side of the three-phase alternating current One or both of the currents detected by the detection unit (not shown) may be used as the reference signal S. Since the input current and the output power have a relationship as shown in FIG. 9, it is possible to expect a cost reduction effect by reducing the number of detection units by adopting a configuration that detects only the input current. - the DC bus voltage Vdc can be stabilized by the on period Ton1 and the on period Ton2.
- the power factor and the harmonic current according to the on start phase Tdl1 and the on start phase Tdl2 can be individually controlled.
- the DC power supply device 100 since the DC power supply device 100 according to the present embodiment can operate from the boost mode a to the boost mode c, it is possible to output a voltage higher than usual.

- FIG. FIG. 15 is a diagram illustrating a configuration example of a refrigeration cycle application apparatus according to Embodiment 4 of the present invention.
- FIG. 16 is a diagram showing the relationship between the motor rotation speed and DC bus voltage Vdc in the refrigeration cycle application apparatus shown in FIG.
- a refrigeration cycle application device to which DC power supply device 100 of Embodiment 1 is applied will be described.
- As the refrigeration cycle application equipment to which the DC power supply device 100 according to the first embodiment is applied for example, an air conditioner, a heat pump water heater, a refrigerator, a refrigerator, and the like are assumed.
- FIG. A refrigeration air conditioner is shown as an example of the load 10. This refrigeration air conditioner includes an inverter 30, a compressor 31, a motor 32, and a refrigeration cycle 33.
- Embodiment demonstrates the structural example of the refrigerating-cycle application apparatus using the DC power supply device 100 of Embodiment 1, instead of the DC power supply device 100 of Embodiment 1, Embodiment 2 is demonstrated. Alternatively, three DC power supply devices 100 may be used.
- the inverter 30 is operated by the neutral point voltage (Vdc / 2) of the DC bus voltage Vdc supplied from the DC power supply device 100, and drives the motor 32 built in the compressor 31 at a variable speed and a variable voltage.
- Vdc / 2 the neutral point voltage
- Vdc / 2 the DC bus voltage supplied from the DC power supply device 100
- the DC bus voltage Vdc is controlled to a constant value by controlling the switching element 4a with Ton1 and the switching element 4b with Ton2, and the stable operation of the load 10 is achieved by supplying the DC bus voltage Vdc to the load 10. It becomes possible. Further, by controlling the ON start phase Tdl1 of the switching element 4a and the ON start phase Tdl2 of the switching element 4b, the harmonic generation amount standard value can be reduced, and the harmonic generation amount can be reduced below the limit value. 3 can be reduced in size and weight. Further, by controlling the power factor to be high, the input current at the same load can be reduced, and the power supplied to the load 10 can be improved. Accordingly, it is possible to relatively increase the cooling and heating capabilities.
- the refrigerating and air-conditioning apparatus operates so as to quickly approach the target temperature by improving the capacity when the difference from the target temperature is large.
- the inverter 30 increases the rotation speed of the motor 32 and increases the amount of refrigerant compressed by the compressor 31, thereby improving the performance.
- the voltage value required for driving the motor 32 increases in proportion to the rotational speed of the motor 32 as shown in FIG. 16, and in the case of the motor 32 having a low induced voltage, the motor voltage Vm1 (broken line in the figure) In the case of the motor 32 having a high induced voltage, the motor voltage Vm2 (one-dot chain line in the figure) is obtained.
- the motor 32 having a high induced voltage is used, the motor 32 can be driven with a small amount of current because the voltage supplied from the inverter 30 increases. Therefore, the loss of the inverter 30 is reduced, and high-efficiency operation is possible.
- N1 is the upper limit of the maximum number of revolutions at which highly efficient operation is possible. At higher rotation speeds, operation is possible by using the flux-weakening control, but the efficiency increases because the current increases.
- full-wave rectification mode is achieved in the region up to rotational speed N1, and boosting mode b in the region from rotational speed N1 to rotational speed N2 in accordance with the increase in rotational speed of motor 32.
- the DC bus voltage Vdc can be boosted by switching to the boost mode a (double voltage mode) at the rotational speed N2 and switching to the boost mode c in the region above the rotational speed N2. Therefore, the motor 32 can be driven with high efficiency and high speed.
- the inverter 30 operates with a high modulation rate by operating with the DC bus voltage Vdc having a value substantially equal to Vm2, so the number of PWM switching pulses decreases. Therefore, high efficiency can be achieved by reducing the switching loss of the inverter 30 and reducing the high-frequency iron loss of the motor 32. Further, by operating in the boost mode c, it is possible to output a higher voltage than in the boost mode a (double voltage mode). Therefore, high efficiency can be achieved by increasing the induced voltage due to the high number of turns of the motor 32.
- the switching element 4a and the switching element 4b are controlled so that the DC bus voltage Vdc matches the bus voltage command value Vdc *. Therefore, by varying the bus voltage command value Vdc * according to the rotation speed of the motor 32 and the power of the load 10, it is possible to operate with the optimum DC bus voltage Vdc according to the load 10. Loss can be reduced.
- the switching frequency of the switching element 4a and the switching element 4b is set to three times the power supply frequency in the full-wave rectification mode and the boost mode a, and the power supply frequencies of 50 Hz and 60 Hz in the boost mode b and the boost mode c.
- the frequency By setting the frequency to three times the least common multiple (such as 900 Hz), it is possible to operate at maximum efficiency without falling into an overcurrent interruption while minimizing an increase in switching frequency.
- the efficiency reduction can be compensated for by increasing the number of turns by boosting as described above. Therefore, it is possible to use a motor that can be stably supplied and that is inexpensive.
- the power supply voltage of the AC power supply 1 supplied to the DC power supply devices 100 of Embodiments 1 to 3 various voltages such as 200 V / 400 V exist. Therefore, when the motor 32 is designed in accordance with each power supply situation for each destination, a plurality of types of motor specifications are generated, and the evaluation load and development load of the motor 32 increase.
- the DC power supply device 100 according to the first to third embodiments for example, when the three-phase AC power supply voltage is 200V, the DC power supply device 100 is operated in the boost mode a (double voltage mode), and when the three-phase AC power supply voltage is 400V.
- the DC bus voltage Vdc becomes the same value when the three-phase AC power supply voltage is 200V and when the three-phase AC power supply voltage is 400V, and it is driven with the same motor specifications. Is possible. Further, even when the three-phase AC power supply voltage is 400 V, when operating in the full-wave rectification mode, the DC bus voltage Vdc varies when the power supply voltage varies. For example, when operating in the full-wave rectification mode When the DC bus voltage Vdc is lower than the expected value, the boosting mode b is used to boost the DC bus voltage Vdc, thereby reducing the influence of fluctuations in the power supply voltage and keeping the inverter 20 constant. It is possible to operate with voltage.
- the switching frequency When the switching frequency is changed from the boost mode a to the boost mode b, the switching frequency is switched in a region where the switching occurs, so that the operation may become unstable. In that case, it is possible to eliminate instability by providing hysteresis or changing the frequency linearly (for example, increasing linearly from 150 Hz to 900 Hz).
- the switching elements 4a and 4b are alternately turned on at 3n times the frequency of the three-phase AC detected by the power supply voltage detection unit in each boost mode.
- the waveform of each phase current of the three-phase alternating current becomes similar. Therefore, the unbalance of each phase current does not occur, and the distortion rate of each phase current becomes a minimum value, and the power factor can be improved and the harmonic current can be suppressed.
- the motor 32 is driven at a high efficiency and at a high speed by switching to the full-wave rectification mode, the boost mode b, the boost mode a (double voltage mode), and the boost mode c according to the increase in the rotation speed of the motor 32. It becomes possible.
- the motor 32 can be stably supplied and can be used at low cost.
- the evaluation load and development load of the motor 32 can be reduced.
- each phase current of the three-phase AC is switched by switching at 3n times the frequency of the three-phase AC obtained from the detection result of the power source voltage detection unit in each boosting mode.
- the current of each phase does not become unbalanced, and the distortion rate of each phase current becomes a minimum value, so that the power factor can be improved and the harmonic current can be suppressed.
- a Si-based semiconductor made of silicon Si: silicon
- a wide band gap (WBG) semiconductor made of silicon carbide (SiC), gallium nitride (GaN), or diamond may be used. That is, at least one of the switching element 4a, the switching element 4b, the backflow prevention element 5a, and the backflow prevention element 5b constituting the charging unit 7 may be formed of a wide band gap semiconductor.
- the switching element and the backflow prevention element formed of such a WBG semiconductor have high voltage resistance and high allowable current density. Therefore, it is possible to reduce the size of the switching element and the backflow prevention element, and by using the downsized switching element and the backflow prevention element, it is possible to reduce the size of the DC power supply device 100 configured using these elements. Become.
- the switching element and the backflow prevention element formed of such a WBG semiconductor have high heat resistance. Therefore, since the heat sink fins of the heat sink can be downsized and the water cooling unit can be down cooled, the DC power supply device 100 can be further downsized.
- switching elements and backflow prevention elements formed of WBG semiconductors have low power loss. For this reason, it is possible to increase the efficiency of the switching element and the backflow prevention element, and thus it is possible to increase the efficiency of the DC power supply device 100.
- both the switching element and the backflow prevention element are formed of a WBG semiconductor
- any one of the elements may be formed of a WBG semiconductor, and the above-described effects can be obtained.
- a power transistor, a power MOSFET, or an IGBT is given as an example of a switching element.
- a super junction structure MOSFET or an insulated gate semiconductor device known as a highly efficient switching element is used. Even if a bipolar transistor or the like is used, the same effect can be obtained.
- the control unit can be composed of a discrete system such as a CPU (Central Processing Unit), DSP (Digital Signal Processor), or microcomputer (microcomputer), but it can also be an electric circuit element such as an analog circuit or a digital circuit. It may be configured.
- a CPU Central Processing Unit
- DSP Digital Signal Processor
- microcomputer microcomputer
- the configuration shown in the above embodiment is an example of the configuration of the present invention, and can be combined with another known technique, and a part thereof is omitted without departing from the gist of the present invention. Needless to say, it is possible to change the configuration.
- the present invention can be applied to a DC power supply device, and is particularly useful as an invention that can achieve high efficiency and cost reduction.
