Abstract
An energetically efficient illuminating fixture that comprises at least one light source array having a plurality of illumination point sources and at least one weak volumetric refractive diffuser optically coupled to the plurality of illumination point sources; wherein the volumetric refractive diffuser contains refractive particles, and wherein the volumetric refractive diffuser comprises air gaps at predetermined regions.
