Abstract
The present disclosure provides methods and systems for determining integrity of a package comprising: (a) placing the package in a gas environment, the gas being introduced into the package if the package is defected; (b) generating at least one infrared (IR) image using at least one IR detector operable to sense, in its field of view, the field of view comprising at least a portion of the package and/or of the gas, radiation in a near to very long IR wavelength; and determining from the IR image the integrity of the package.
