Abstract

The invention relates to an inner lining structure of a fluid-exchange column consisting of vertically adjacent layers of corrugated plates each shaped such as to define longitudinal channels having in the wall thereof, in a tilted plane, a series of drawing windows (F) enabling the fluids to pass through said wall and arranged according to a cut-out (A) having a trapezoidal shape, and to comprise notches (E1, E2) on the transverse edge thereof, each notch being made from said transverse edge ending each channel through the material thereof, such that said notches provide passages for the fluids to pass therethrough, from one to another of two adjacent channels through the wall that separates same, at the junction between two vertically adjacent lining layers and from one plate to a juxtaposed plate in the same layer, and enabling said transverse edge of the plate to be overall rectilinear in order for the transverse edges of the plates to jointly form the equivalent of a planar bearing surface via which the contiguous vertically adjacent layers rest on one another.
