Description
従って本発明の目的は、容器の上方又は下方から加えられる衝撃や荷重に対して座屈し難く、尚且つ軽量化が図れる樹脂製容器を提供することにある。
本構成のごとく、胴部の下端部分に、上下方向に弾性変形可能なクッション部を備えるものであれば、容器に対して上下方向から衝撃や荷重が加えられても、クッション部がその径方向外側ほど幅広となる溝を中心として弾性変形してその荷重を吸収するため、容器の座屈を防止することができる。また、クッション部が、胴部の上下方向の中心よりも下側に位置するため、飲料等を本樹脂製容器に充填した場合、その重心付近か又は重心よりも低い位置で弾性変形するようになり、より安定して衝撃又は荷重を吸収することができる。
本構成によれば、クッション部が胴部の下端部分に位置するため、さらにより安定して衝撃又は荷重を吸収することができると共に、上方に設けられる場合ほど目立たなくなるため樹脂製容器の意匠性に与える影響も少ない。
本構成によれば、クッション部が三段以上のバネ構造を備えることになるため、より確実に荷重を吸収することができる。
本構成によれば、正面視におけるクッション部の形状が、径方向外側ほど幅広となる溝の付近が最も縮径したくびれ形状となる。これにより、上下方向から荷重等が加えられた場合に径方向外側ほど幅広となる溝に対して応力が集中し易くなるため、よりスムーズに弾性変形し得る。
本構成のごとく、横断面形状が波状の円周形状となる波状凹部を、胴部の上下方向に複数備えるものであれば、円形の横断面形状を有するリブと比べて補強効果が高い上に、多角形状の横断面形状を有するリブと異なり、角張った部分がないため、応力集中が緩和される。
従って本構成によれば、軽量化のために肉薄にしても、容器の側面に加えられる衝撃や荷重に対して十分な強度を確保することができる。
本構成のごとく、複数の波状凹部を周方向に互いに位相をずらして配置すれば、胴部全体の強度がより均一化されるため、応力集中がより一層緩和される。

まず、本明細書で用いる各種の用語について以下のとおり定義する。

第1及び第2凹部6,8は、胴部4の全周にわたって設けられている溝であり、ボトル1の側面に対して加えられる衝撃や荷重に対する強度(以下、側面強度と略称する)を補強する補強リブとして機能する。尚、第1及び第2凹部6,8のそれぞれの溝の幅と溝の深さは胴部4の全周にわたって一定であり、また第1凹部6の溝の幅及び溝の深さのそれぞれは、第2凹部8の溝の幅及び溝の深さと同一である。
直胴部7は、横断面形状が正円の円形で構成された円筒状の部分であり、ボトル1の最大外径を有している。また、直胴部7の外周面には飲料の銘柄等を表示するラベルを設けることができる。直胴部7には、第1~第3波状凹部11,12,13が上下方向に等間隔で設けられている。これらの第1~第3波状凹部11,12,13は、直胴部7の全周にわたって設けられる溝であり、上記第1及び第2凹部6,8と同じく、ボトル1の側面強度を補強する補強リブとしての機能を有する。
以下、第1~第3波状凹部11,12,13について説明するが、これらはいずれも同じ構成を有するため、その構造については第1波状凹部11についてのみ説明し、第2及び第3波状凹部12,13の構造についての説明は省略する。
図1に示すように、くびれ部9は、消費者がボトル1を把持し易いように構成された部分である。くびれ部9は、正面視において、丸みを帯びたひし形及び瓢箪のような形をしたパネルを交互に組み合わせた形状を備えており、くびれ部9における上下方向の中央位置19に向かって徐々に縮径している。
図1に示すように、クッション部10は、その全周にわたる3つの溝として、径方向外側ほど幅広となりV字状の縦断面形状を有する溝のV字凹部20と、V字凹部20の上下に設けられる2つの小凹部21,21とを備える蛇腹状の部分であって、V字凹部20を対称軸として線対称な構成を有する。図4に示すように小凹部21の横断面形状は起伏のある波状の円周形状を有する。また、図5に示すようにV字凹部20の横断面形状もまた起伏のある波状の円周形状を有する。
図1に示すように、底部5は、周壁22と底壁23とを備えて構成されている。周壁22は、底壁23の周縁から上方に拡開するように立ち上がる円筒状の部分である。図6に示すように、底壁23は正円の円形形状を有し、その外周縁に配置される輪状の接触部24と、接触部24の内縁から底壁23の円の中心に向かってなだらかに円錐状に盛りあがる円錐部25と、円錐部25の円の中心部に形成される上方に突出する円形の窪み26とを備えて構成されている。尚、ボトル1を平らな机等の上に立てて置く場合、接触部24が机等と接する。
(1)上述の実施形態のボトル1における各構成部分の形状等については、上述の実施形態に限定されるものではなく、本発明の構成内容を逸脱しない範囲で必要に応じて任意に変更して良い。
(2)上述の実施形態においては、ボトル1の正面視において第1~第3波状凹部11,12,13が水平に設けられているが、この構成に限定されるものではなく、他にも例えば、図7に示すように、ボトル1の正面視において第1~第3波状凹部11,12,13を傾斜させた状態で設けるように構成しても良い。

Claims (6)
- キャップが着脱自在な口部と、口部に連設される肩部と、肩部に連設される胴部と、胴部に連設して最下部に位置する底部とを備える樹脂製容器において、
前記胴部の上下方向の中心よりも下側に、径方向外側ほど幅広となる溝を全周にわたって有する上下方向に弾性変形可能なクッション部を備える樹脂製容器。 - 前記クッション部が、前記胴部の下端部分に位置する請求項1に記載の樹脂製容器。
- 前記クッション部が、前記径方向外側ほど幅広となる溝の上下のそれぞれに、全周にわたる別の溝を1以上備える請求項1又は2に記載の樹脂製容器。
- 前記径方向外側ほど幅広となる溝の深さが、前記別の溝の深さよりも深く構成される請求項3に記載の樹脂製容器。
- 前記胴部の径方向の内側に突出する第1突出領域と、該第1突出領域よりもさらに径方向の内側に山状に突出する第2突出領域とを備え、前記第1突出領域及び前記第2突出領域が周方向に交互に配置されることにより横断面形状が波状の円周形状となる波状凹部を、前記胴部の上下方向に複数備える請求項1~4のいずれか1項に記載の樹脂製容器。
- 前記複数の波状凹部が、周方向に互いに位相をずらして配置され、1つの波状凹部の第1突出領域が配置される位置において、その直下に位置する別の波状凹部の第2突出領域が配置される請求項5に記載の樹脂製容器。
