Abstract

In a method for hot sheet metal forming, a sheet metal is heated to a temperature less than or equal to the Curie temperature in a first step by induction heating by means of a first induction heating device, and in a second step the sheet metal is heated to temperatures greater than 800 °C by means of conventional heating in a furnace or by means of induction heating in a second induction heating device different from the first induction heating device.
