Abstract

The invention relates to a building envelope comprising a support structure (16) with a mounting profile fastened thereto for attaching a thermal or photovoltaic solar collector module (11, 14) next to an adjacent building envelope element at a distance to the support structure (16) allowing rear ventilation. The collector module (11, 14) is sealingly fastened to the mounting profile by means of retainers (32) acting thereon below the outer surface of the module. The mounting profile and the retainers (32) are sealingly covered to the outside.
