Abstract
Description
例えば、特許文献1には、本体ケースの外面に設けた操作体により、スイッチング手段を開閉するとともに、空気電池の空気孔を蓋体によって開閉する技術が開示されている。
上記目的を達成するために、本発明の補聴器は、本体ケースと、電池ケースと、制御装置と、マイクロフォンおよびスピーカと、スイッチング手段と、蓋体と、を備えている。電池ケースは、本体ケース内から本体ケース外に引き出し自在に設けられ、空気電池を収納する。制御装置は、電池ケース内に収納される空気電池の起電力により起動される。マイクロフォンおよびスピーカは、制御装置に電気的に接続されている。スイッチング手段は、電池ケースの少なくとも一部を本体ケース外に引き出す操作に連動して、空気電池から制御装置への通電を断つ。蓋体は、本体ケース内、あるいは電池ケース内に設けられており、電池ケースの少なくとも一部を本体ケース外に引き出す操作に連動して空気電池の空気孔を開閉する。
以上のように、本発明によれば、指で持つために十分な大きさをもった電池ケースの少なくとも一部を本体ケース外に引き出すだけで、スイッチング手段により空気電池から制御装置への通電を断つとともに、蓋体によって空気電池の空気孔を覆うことができるため、空気電池の電池容量の低下を抑制するとともに、補聴器を保管する際の操作性の向上を図ることができる。
本実施形態の補聴器は、図1に示すように、耳掛け型(BTE(Behind-The-Ear)型)の補聴器であって、耳の後ろに装着される本体ケース1と、本体ケース1の上端側にその一端が連結された耳掛け部2と、耳掛け部2の他端に連結されたスピーカ3と、を備えている。
電池ケース7は、図2および図6に示すように、一方の面側(図2の奥側)が開口した容器状となっており、その内に空気電池8が収納される。
そこで、本実施形態の補聴器では、本体ケース1の電池ケース7挿入口の縁部に、図4および図6(a)~図6(c)に示すように、空気電池8側に突出した突起15を設けた。
まず、図7(a)は、図6(b)と同様に、補聴器の保管状態を示している。
図7(a)に示すように、蓋体11aと空気電池8との間には、電源端子12が挟まれるように配置される。このとき、電源端子12は厚みH1を有しているため、蓋体11によって空気電池8の空気孔10を直接覆うことができない。
一方、図7(b)は、図6(c)と同様に、補聴器の動作状態を示している。
この状態では、蓋体11aと電源端子12との間に隙間17が形成される。このため、空気孔10には空気が供給され、空気電池8は発電状態となる。
これにより、空気電池8が蓋体11aに対して強く押し付けられ、空気電池8の空気孔10の周囲に密閉された空間18を形成することができる。この結果、上述したように、補聴器の保管状態における空気電池8の無駄な発電を効果的に抑制することができる。
これにより、補聴器の保管状態における空気電池8の無駄な発電を抑制して、補聴器の保管中における電池容量の低下を抑制することができる。また、上述した補聴器の保管状態では、空気電池8から制御装置14、マイクロフォン4、およびスピーカ3に対する電力供給も遮断されるため、電池容量の低下を抑制することができる。
これにより、補聴器の保管状態以外では、空気電池8から、上述した制御装置14、マイクロフォン4、およびスピーカ3への電力供給は遮断され、かつ空気電池8を蓋体11とは反対側に付勢する力も解除される。つまり、本実施形態では、電源端子12とコネクター16とが、スイッチング手段を構成している。

上記実施形態では、補聴器の保管状態における無駄な電池容量の低下を抑制するための蓋体の形態として、空気孔10の周囲に密閉空間を形成した例を挙げて説明した。しかし、本発明はこれに限定されるものではない。
すなわち、図8(a)は、図6(b)と同様に、補聴器の保管状態を示している。
蓋体11bは、図8(b)に示すように、電源端子12に対して当接する部分に、円環状の凹部11baを設けている。そして、ここでは、この凹部11baの深さが、電源端子12の厚みH1より大きくなるように設計されている。
なお、このように蓋体11bに凹部11baを設けた場合には、蓋体11bによって空気孔10が直接覆われる。このため、電源端子12は、リング形状でなくてもよく、例えば、中空部を有しないU字形状としてもよい。
この状態では、蓋体11bと電源端子12との間に隙間17が形成される。このため、空気孔10には空気が供給され、空気電池8は発電状態となる。
このとき、突起15は、上述したように、空気電池8を押し上げることにより、空気電池8を蓋体11aに圧接させて空気孔10を覆うという作用を有する。そこで、突起15の高さH3と隙間17の長さH2と電源端子12の厚みH1とは、H1+H2<H3という関係を満たすことが好ましい。
これにより、図8(a)に示すように、空気電池8を蓋体11aに対して強く押し付けることができ、蓋体11bによって空気孔10を直接覆うことができる。この結果、補聴器の保管状態における空気電池8の無駄な発電を、より効果的に抑制することができる。
上記実施形態では、補聴器の保管状態における無駄な電池容量の低下を抑制するための蓋体の形態として、空気孔10の周囲に密閉空間を形成した例を挙げて説明した。しかし、本発明はこれに限定されるものではない。
例えば、上記実施形態とは異なり、蓋体11cを、ゴム素材やシリコン素材などの弾性部材によって形成した場合でも、上記と同様の効果を得ることができる。
ここでは、蓋体11cを弾性部材によって形成することで、突起15の頂面15aに空気電池8が乗り上げて、空気電池8が電源端子12とともに蓋体11c側に押し付けられたときに、蓋体11cにおける電源端子12との当接部分を電源端子12の厚みH1分だけ凹状に変形させる。
なお、蓋体11bを弾性部材で構成することにより、蓋体11cが空気孔10を直接覆うことができるため、上記他の実施形態(A)と同様に、電源端子12は、リング形状でなくてもよく、例えば、中空部を有しないU字形状としてもよい。
この状態では、蓋体11cと電源端子12との間に隙間17が形成される。このため、空気孔10には空気が供給され、空気電池8は発電状態となる。
このとき、突起15は、上述したように、空気電池8を押し上げることにより、空気電池8を蓋体11aに対して圧接させて空気孔10を覆うという作用を有する。そこで、突起15の高さH3と隙間17の長さH2と電源端子12の厚みH1とは、H1+H2<H3という関係を満たすことが好ましい。
これにより、空気電池8が蓋体11cに対して強く押し付けられるため、蓋体11cが空気孔10を完全に覆うことができる。この結果、蓋体11cが空気孔10を覆うことにより、補聴器の保管状態において空気電池8の発電は停止され、空気電池8の電池容量の低下を抑制することができる。
上記実施形態では、蓋体11が電池ケース7内に設けられていた例を挙げて説明した。しかし、本発明はこれに限定されるものではない。

前記電池ケース内に収納される前記空気電池の起電力により起動される制御装置と、
前記制御装置に電気的に接続されたマイクロフォンおよびスピーカと、
前記電池ケースの少なくとも一部を前記本体ケース外に引き出す操作に連動して、前記空気電池から前記制御装置への電力供給を断つスイッチング手段と、
