Abstract

La présente invention concerne un procédé production d'agrégats artificiels légers à base principalement des boues de laminage à froid ou à chaud et d'argile. L'invention concerne plus particulièrement un procédé permettant de produire, à partir de boues de laminage à froid ou à chaud et d'argile, des agrégats artificiels légers dont la gravité spécifique absolue à sec va de 0,5 à 1,5, et l'absorbance va de 5% à 20%. Étant donné, d'une part que les agrégats artificiels légers selon la présente invention sont fabriqués essentiellement à partir de boues de laminage à froid ou à chaud qui sont un sous produit de l'industrie sidérurgique, il n'y a pas lieu d'ajouter d'agent moussant, et étant donné d'autre part qu'on réutilise des déchets d'acier pour augmenter les avantages économiques, l'invention permet de réduire la production de déchets tout en évitant la contamination de l'environnement.
