Abstract

The present invention relates to shoes, and more particularly, to a method that enables a person wearing shoes to receive help from neighboring persons in the case the person wearing the shoes lapses into unconsciousness due to sudden physical abnormality or meets with an unexpected accident. The method for emergency rescue using shoes comprises: a first step of enabling a sensor module for recognizing an emergency situation to sense any change that occur when a user puts the shoes on, and inform an operation module for performing RF communication with the sensor module of the fact that the user has put on the shoes, thereby switching the operation module into a standby state, wherein a signal for indicating that shoes are worn, which indicates that the sensor module and the operation module are operating normally, can be generated in the form of a visual or acoustic means, or a vibration from the operation module; a second step of transmitting a preliminary emergency signal to the operation module in the case the value of acceleration varying in accordance with the motion of the user, measured by an acceleration sensor embedded in the sensor module, is kept at an abnormal level for a duration longer than a predetermined time period; a third step of determining that the preliminary emergency signal is a true emergency signal if the person wearing the shoes does not react to the preliminary emergency signal; and a fourth step of generating an emergency alarming signal for the recognition of neighboring persons through hearing or sight when the operation module recognizes the true emergency signal.
