Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé de production de plantes haploïdes H, haploïdes doublées HD et/ou dihaploïdes DH, les HD et DH étant homozygotes ou essentiellement homozygotes, ce procédé étant du type de ceux relevant de la technique de gynogenèse induite par du pollen irradié. Ce procédé comprend une étape d'irradiation du matériel reproducteur du parent mâle à une dose comprise entre 160 et 190 Gamma Ray et/ou une étape de sélection des plantes haploïdes H et/ou DH par utilisation de marqueur(s) moléculaire(s). L'invention concerne également un procédé de production de plantes haploïdes, haploïdes doublées et/ou dihaploïdes homozygotes comprenant une étape de détermination de la (ou des) dose(s) d'irradiation adéquate(s) pour augmenter les rendements desdites plantes en fonction de facteurs multiples donnés comme l'espèce végétale, les génotypes du parent mâle et du parent femelle, les conditions climatiques et physiologiques, le moment de la récolte des fruits, le niveau de croissance des embryons recueillis en vue de leur culture, le niveau de développement des embryons mis en culture. Par ailleurs, l'invention concerne le(s) marqueur(s) moléculaire(s) utilisé(s) dans l'étape de sélection ainsi que les embryons haploïdes, les embryons dihaploïdes obtenus par le procédé de l'invention, la descendance et les semences des plantes obtenues par le procédé de l'invention.
