Abstract

The present invention relates to a wireless communication system, and discloses a method and an apparatus for communication between a relay node (RN) and user equipment (UE) in the wireless communication system. The method for carrying out communication between the relay node and a base station (eNB) and the user equipment according to one embodiment of the present invention comprises the steps of: acquiring a first Timing Advance Command provided by the base station, wherein said first timing advance command contains first timing advance information ("i", which is the relay node index) on the backhaul uplink synchronization between the relay node and the base station; and determining a second timing advance ("j", which is the user equipment index) on the access uplink synchronization between the user equipment and the relay node, on the basis of the access uplink signal received from the user equipment, transmitting a second timing advance command containing the sum of the first timing advance information and the second timing advance information to the user equipment, receiving an access uplink signal transmitted by the timing according to the second timing advance command from the user equipment, and transmitting the access uplink signal received from the user equipment to the base station via a backhaul uplink by the timing according to the first timing advance command.
