- the present invention refers to containers and to a perforable closure for a container, in particular for a drug or fluid container to be infused into a human or animal body.
- liquid-tight closure including a perforable membrane, generally made of synthetic elastic material, such membrane being fixed to the bottle opening through a capsule, whose middle portion is perforated or removable for allowing an operator to connect a transfusion set for phleboclysis or hypodermoclysis to the bottle so perforating its membrane through a perforator of said transfusion set.
- a disadvantage of said known devices is that the membrane is entirely made with elastic material which has not only a high production cost, but also it is not completely recyclable because of the membrane is mainly made with thermosetting elastic material which is not compatible with the thermoplastic material used for the container or for the cap.
- An object of the present invention is to propose a perforable closure requiring less material.
- Another object is to propose a closure which can be carried out with low costs.

- the closure 1 comprises a middle portion 2 carried out with perforable elastic material and an external portion 3 carried out with rigid material. Said portions, middle 2 and external 3, are carried out in a single mould by double injection of the relative thermoplastic materials that merge, thus forming a single body in correspondence of a common zone (9).
- the middle portion 2 has a disc shape and the external portion 3 has circular ring shape, the first one being made of thermoplastic elastomer material and the second one being made of polypropylene or similar.
- the external portion 3 of the closure 1 has a sealing means 4, of protrusion lip type having a circular ring shape positioned around the external edge of said external portion 3 and fit to match by sealing the cap 10.
- the central portion 2 of the closure has two hollows 5, 6 of circular shape to indicate the perforation position.
- the central portion 2 and the external portion 3 are reciprocally fixed as single body.
- the operation of the device provides, once the closure 1 is inserted inside the cap 10 while making and filling the container, that the user, in order to use the container, takes away the removable part 8 sealed and fixed to the cap 10 and perforates the membrane with a perforator of a transfusion set or similar in correspondence of a hollows 5, 6.
- the central portion 2 has only one hollow 5, 6 also of non circular shape, or has protrusions, useful to indicate the perforation position to the user.
- sealing lip means 4 is made of thermoplastic or thermoplastic elastomer material or that there are more than one sealing means 4, preferably in number of two.
- common zone 9 between the central portion 2 and the external portion 3 is not only of circular shape but also of other various shapes, for example oval or polygonal.
- An advantage of the present invention is to provide a perforable closure using less material.
