　従来の距離測定装置よりも距離測定の精度を向上させることができる距離測定装置を提供すること。 　ステレオカメラ（１）は、車両の筐体（１２）に固定されるカメラステイ（４）と、このカメラステイ（４）に設けられた一対のカメラ（２）及びカメラ（３）とを備え、カメラステイ（４）は、一対のカメラ（２）とカメラ（３）との間において車両の筐体に、固定部（６）、（７）、（８）を介して取り付けられる取付部（４ａ）を備え、この取付部（４ａ）は、カメラ（２）とカメラ（３）とを結ぶ基線方向に自由度を有する。
