Abstract
本発明は、安価かつ簡便な3-インドールピルビン酸の製造を実現するための手段を提供することを課題とする。オキシダーゼ活性を有するタンパク質をコードする所定の塩基配列を有するポリヌクレオチドを用いて形質転換体を作製し、その形質転換体を培地中で培養し、培地中および/または形質転換体中に、オキシダーゼを蓄積させてオキシダーゼを生成する。さらに、前記形質転換体および/またはその培養物の存在下で、トリプトファンを3-インドールピルビン酸に変換し、3-インドールピルビン酸を製造する。
