Abstract

 オレフィン、水素および酸素を用いてそのオレフィンに対応するエポキシ化合物を製造するに当たり、安全に酸素およびオレフィンを含んでなる混合ガスを容易に調整する新たな方法を提供する。  酸素およびオレフィンを含んで成る混合ガスを製造する方法は、  (1)酸素および水蒸気を含んで成る、(酸素/水蒸気)含有ガスとオレフィンとを混合して、酸素、水蒸気およびオレフィンを含んで成る、(酸素/不水蒸気/オレフィン)含有ガスを調製する混合工程、ならびに  (2)(酸素/水蒸気/オレフィン)含有ガスに含まれる水蒸気を除去し、酸素および可燃性ガスを含んで成る混合ガスとして、水蒸気の量が減少した(酸素/水蒸気/オレフィン)含有ガスを調製する水蒸気減少工程 を含んで成ることを特徴とする。
