- An eleventh aspect of the present invention is the vehicle operating pedal device according to the ninth or tenth aspect of the present invention, wherein the notch and the reinforcing member have a symmetrical shape with respect to an insertion direction when the reinforcing member is inserted into the notch. It is characterized by.
- the reinforcing member provided with the pin insertion hole is disposed between the pair of side walls, and is integrally formed on the pair of side walls at the outer peripheral portion of the pin insertion hole. Since it is fixed, the reaction force applied to the pair of side walls from the connecting pin via the reinforcing member is dispersed, the rigidity of the side walls is improved, and the seat due to the reaction force is maintained while the plate thickness of the side walls is kept thin. Bending is suppressed. Further, since it is only necessary to insert the connecting pin into the pin insertion hole provided through the reinforcing member, the workability is improved, and even when the connecting pin rotates relative to the pin insertion hole, the pin Wear of the insertion hole is suppressed.

- management of high dimensional accuracy, such as centering is unnecessary, the assembly operation of the operation pedal including the reinforcing member is facilitated, and the manufacturing cost is reduced.
- the pair of fitting protrusions are provided symmetrically, they can be arranged in any direction of the symmetrical shape, and the assembling work becomes easier and productivity is improved.
- a part of the outer peripheral edge of the reinforcing member is substantially matched with the side edges of the pair of side walls to form a part of the outer peripheral shape of the operation pedal, and is integrally welded to the side edges. Since they are joined, the reaction force applied to the pair of side walls is well dispersed, the rigidity of the side walls is improved, and buckling due to the reaction force is suitably suppressed.
- the portion of the pair of side walls around the center line of the pin insertion hole of the reinforcing member is separated from the reinforcing member as the distance from the pin insertion hole is increased. Since the mortar-shaped inclined portion that is expanded obliquely is provided, the reaction force applied from the reinforcing member to the pair of side walls via the fixed portion is more efficiently dispersed by the inclined portion and is thus rigid. The buckling due to the reaction force is further effectively suppressed while the thickness of the side wall is kept thin.
- the reinforcing member according to the sixth aspect of the invention is integrally fixed to a boss that is provided integrally with the operation pedal so as to be concentric with the support shaft. Therefore, the boss and the rotation of the operation pedal are maintained while maintaining a thin wall thickness.
- the rigidity of the dynamic connecting portion is improved integrally.
- a connection link as the intermediate member is connected to the operation pedal so as to be relatively rotatable via the rotation connection portion, and the connection link is connected to the support shaft. Since it is connected to the reaction force member via an intermediate lever disposed so as to be rotatable about a rotation axis parallel to the center, a non-linear desired lever ratio can be set.
- the reaction force member is directly connected to the operation pedal via the rotation connection portion, so that no connection link is required.

- a plate-like flange having a substantially right angle is provided to form a notch, and a reinforcing member provided with a pin insertion hole through which the connecting pin is inserted is inserted into the notch and fixed integrally. Therefore, the reaction force transmitted from the connecting pin to the flange via the reinforcing member is dispersed, buckling and deformation due to stress concentration are prevented, and the rigidity of the plate-like flange is improved. Further, since it is only necessary to insert the connecting pin into the pin insertion hole provided through the reinforcing member, the workability is improved, and even when the connecting pin rotates relative to the pin insertion hole, the pin Wear of the insertion hole is suppressed.
- a tenth aspect of the invention is a case where an operation pedal having a structure in which the flanges provided on the outer peripheral portions of the pair of halves are integrally joined in a state where the flanges are overlapped with each other, A recessed groove to be fitted is formed corresponding to the notch, and the reinforcing member is positioned with respect to the operation pedal by fitting the inner peripheral edge of the notch into the recessed groove.
- the reinforcing member is inserted into the notch before the bodies are joined together, the pair of halves are positioned by the reinforcing member.
- the flanges of the pair of halves are overlapped and the outer end edges of the flanges are fusion-bonded by arc welding or the like, the portion where the flanges are fitted in the concave grooves of the reinforcing member, If the outer end edge of the flange and the outer peripheral portion of the reinforcing member are configured to substantially coincide with each other, the flange can be integrally welded to the outer peripheral portion of the reinforcing member simultaneously with the welding of the flanges. It is possible to continuously perform welding operations such as these without interruption, and the productivity can be further improved.
- the pair of halves can be integrally joined before inserting the reinforcing member into the notch, or the joining of the half and the fixing member can be performed in separate steps. Moreover, the manufacturing method, the joining means for the pair of halves, and the fixing means for the reinforcing member are appropriately determined such that the pair of halves can be joined by resistance welding or the like.
- the notch and the reinforcing member have a symmetrical shape with respect to the insertion direction when the reinforcing member is inserted into the notch, the reinforcing member is rotated 180 ° with respect to the symmetrical centerline. Can be inserted, and the workability of assembling the reinforcing member to the operation pedal is improved, and the productivity is further increased.
