Abstract
A simply constructed valve opening degree detection device. A valve opening/closing device rotates an input shaft (22) by drive of a motor of an actuator (1). This causes rotation force to be applied to a drive transmission mechanism from an output shaft (25) via an output gear (24) meshing with an input gear (23). The valve opening degree detection device (3) has a detection target section (31) provided at the output gear (24) and also has a detecting section (32) provided at a support case (11) and detecting the detection target section (31). In the valve opening degree detection device (3), the detecting section (32) is mounted on the support case (11) and the detection target section (31) is mounted on the output gear (24). This allows the detection target section (31), rotating about the output shaft (25) with rotation of the output gear (24), to be detected by the detecting section (32) when the degree of opening of a valve (6) is in the range from ϑ11 to ϑ12.
