Abstract

A method for manufacturing a plasma display panel comprises the steps of arranging two substrates in opposition to each other and forming a plurality of pairs of bus electrodes with a space therebetween on the opposing surface of one substrate. Further, the method comprises the step of forming a plurality of division walls in such a manner that the walls extend with a space therebetween in a direction intersecting with the pair of bus electrodes on the opposing surface of the other substrate. The method comprises the steps of covering with a dielectric layer the pair of bus electrodes and the substrate on which the pair is formed and forming a plurality of grooves in such a manner that the grooves extend with a space therebetween in the direction intersecting with the pair of bus electrodes in the dielectric layer. The method comprises the step of forming an address electrode in the plurality of grooves.
