Abstract

　エンジン用燃料としてエタノール燃料を貯留する車両用燃料タンク（３）の上壁（３ａ）に給油口（１５ａ）と，この給油口（１５ａ）から燃料タンク（３）内に延びる給油案内筒（１５）とを設けた，車両用燃料タンクの給油口装置において，給油案内筒（１５）に，その下方開口部を覆って燃料の流通を許容する一方，火の侵入を防ぐフレイムアレスタ（２１）と，このフレイムアレスタ（２１）の外周縁部から下方へ延出するスカート（２７）とを設け，フレイムアレスタ（２１）を介して生じる燃料タンク（３）及び給油案内筒（１５）間での空気の対流をスカート（２７）で防ぐようにした。これにより、フレイムアレスタを使用して，給油口から燃料タンク内への火の侵入を抑止するのみならず，燃料タンク内の上部から給油案内筒へのエタノールガスの移行を防ぐことができる。
