Abstract
This invention is on a low frequency magnetic field physical therapy apparatus which consists of a pulse signal controller, a magnetic field inducing coil driving part and the magnetic field inducing coils. The pulse signal controller makes a number of pulse trains carrying one or two treatment souces through a number of channels by inputting brain waves, Shumann resonance frequency and water molecule resonance frequencies as treatment souces into the frequency modulation program to treat the whole or a specific part of a human body. The magnetic field inducing coil driving part generates these pulse trains made as curent souee to supply pre- detennined value of pulse curent to the magnetic field inducing coils. While magnetic field inducing coils generate magnetic field with 3uT-30uT (lTelsa=104) to iiradiate to human body, the electric field induced into a human body generates active potential to trigger depolarization of cell membrane. A LOW FREQUENCY MAGNETIC PHYSICAL TREATMENT DEVICE USING SHUMANN RESONANCE FREQUENCY, WATER MOLECULE RESONANCE FREQUENCY AND BRAIN WAVES AS THE IMPORTANT TREATMENT INFORMATION Technical Field
[1] This invention is on a low frequency magnetic field physical therapy apparatus which consists of a pulse signal controller, a magnetic field inducing coil driving part and the magnetic field inducing coils. The pulse signal controller makes a number of pulse trains caπying one or two treatment souees through a number of channels by inputting brain waves, Shumann resonance frequency and water molecule resonance frequencies as treatment soirees into the frequency modulation program to treat the whole or a specific part of a human body. The magnetic field inducing coil driving part generates these pulse trains made as curent souee to supply predetemined value of pulse curent to the magnetic field inducing coils. [3] So far the most widely used low frequency physical therapy apparatus, TEENS
(transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation) has either a padded type of electric pole attached to the outer skin or a needle type electric pole inserted into the outer skin to supply predetemiined value of pulse signal curent with 0.1mA to 50mA and low frequency with IHz to 100 Hz, stimulating neuυns or constricting muscle cells to obtain effective physical therapy.

Therefore, when it is supplied to the internal tissue for treatment, supplying such a laige amount of curent for a long time (fiom a number of seconds to scores of minutes) to a human body can damage nαmal cells as well as cause skin problems such as the changing skin color and skin damage to the local area attached to the electric pole.

[6] As a device to overcome these problems and to treat internal tissue, the low pulse magnetic field apparatuses have been studied for last three or four decades and their therapeutic effectiveness has been proved. US patent No. 5,842.966 applied a square wave of magnetic field signal (under 20 Gauss) with frequency IHz to 30 Hz for arthritis treatment, Us patent No.5,935,054 applied weak 1/2Hz, 5OnT to stimulate sensory neuυn, controlling excitement and a fit, helping relaxation and sound sleep and getting the same effect as rocking a baby to sleep. US patent No.6,162,166 applied the magnetic field signal under 20Hz, between 100A/m and 250A/m to treat pain and the ringing in the ear and used it as a sedative for tranquilizing excitement.
[7] Above mentioned examples applied specific low frequencies for the specific(special) treatments. US patent No.6,675,047 repeatedly supplied 0.1 Hz to 10Hz at the interval of 0.01Hz and 10Hz to lOOHz/sec at the interval of 0. IHz to 0.2Hz in older to treat a whole body. US patent No.5,480,373 applied single channel mixed signals made by modulating vascular automatic vibration low frequencies with 200Hz, 20Hz and 3Hz to show particularly effective results for various diseases including arthritis, osteoporosis, diabetes and Rirkinson's disease.
[8] Korea patent laying-open No.2001-0095888 supplied high magnetic field with IT to
1OT in older to induce eddy curent with 0.1mA to 50mA into a human body as TMS (transcranial magnetic brain stimulation) supplied one or two pulses within 100 Hz/sec in older to give electrical shock to human body for treatment, which can damage nαmal cells in case it is supplied for more than a number of seconds, relatively a long time. Thus, to supply pulse trains continuously for predeteimined time without damaging nαmal cells, the intensity of the magnetic field needs to be limited within the same intensity of the magnetic field as rTMS (respective transcranial magnetic brain stimulation) did.

300Hz) and different intensity of magnetic field (usually nT to mT) are applied depending on the disease and damaged area. However, to eradicate the chronical
diseases, it is desirable to treat the whole body as well as a specific disease at the same time, because a specific magnetic pulse signal with a specific frequency and specific intensity of magnetic field for a specific disease can damage the other parts of the body. So it is extremely necessary to limit the range of the frequency and the intensity of magnetic field strictly in αder not to cause any ham when they are applied to a human body. Rirticularly, considering that 60 peicents of human body, which is dielectric, is made up of water, theoretical approach and proper application of these treatment soutces are essential for the treatment of the whole body and especially, for chronicle diseases.

[11] As this invention is designed to recognize above mentioned problems and to solve them, the technical problem of this invention is to make a low frequency magnetic field physical therapy apparatus installing the frequency modulation program which modulates frequencies to generate a number of pulse magnetic signals through magnetic field inducing coils. By inputting six brain waves and Shumann resonance wave(8.7Hz), known as an alternating signal of teirestrial magnetism affecting greatly animals' and plants' activities into frequency modulation program as major treatment soirees to generate a number of low frequency magnetic pulse signals under lOOuT through magnetic field inducing coils, treating effectively the specific part of a human body as well as chronical diseases without damaging the other part of a body.

In an example of this invention, the magnetic field inducing coils are made of many layers of oval spiral copper or brass insulated with polyvinyl chloride. The coiling structure of magnetic field inducing coils should be made to supply magnetic field constantly and effectively all over the body. They can be designed and manufactured in various shapes not only in circle but also in oval or in other polygons depending on the uses but should be made to generate as minimum inductance as possible. The magnetic field inducing coils are made in many layers to gain bigger magnetic field out of the same intensity of curent.

To enhance the effect of treatment, water molecule resonance frequencies and Shumann resonance frequency should be applied as essential treatment souces, in addition to them, various brain waves suggested in table2. and other treatment souees can be applied through various combination.

With a micro controller(31), an eight channel digital switch(ADG715) which communicates in two lines (P C), a condenser (unshown in this drawing), a timerIC(LM555) which operates in mono stable mode, electric resistance, and optimum number of operational amplifiers(LM324), square pulse wavefαmB can be made by adjusting pulse width and exponentially rising pulse wavefαm C can be made by adjusting the width of pulse and by chaiging a codenser. With optimum number of operational amplifiers(LM324), by adding and subtracting wavefαmB and wavefαm C, exponentially falling wavefαm D can be made. The pulse wavefαm can be made variously in exponentially rising or in falling wavefαm, or in exponentially rising or falling wavefαm in bidirection. The same or similar parts as used in fig9. can be used.
[82] Fig 10. shows pulse cuirent wavefαms as an example of this invention consisting of three channels made by inputting eight treatment souces out of treatment frequencies shown in table2 into the frequency modulation program to treat diseases. Through frequency modulation, three brain waves(250Hz, 23.4Hz, 3Hz) are transmitted through channell(CHl) , two brain waves (IHz, 87Hz) and Shumann resonance frequency (7.8Hz) through channel2(CH2), and water molecule resonance frequencies(6Hz, 40.1Hz) through channel3(CFJ3) as treatment souces. These square pulse trains from three channels are supplied to magnetic field inducing coils via a pulse signal generator and a magnetic field inducing coil driving part.
[83] Fig 10. shows an example of this invention, in which a number of magnetic field inducing coils can be used at the same time depending on the applied treatment souces through frequency modulation. And frequencies can be modulated by pulse control programs built in a micro controller(31) equipped with DIO and a memory. Though treating time differs depending on the kind of disease and the puposes of use, usually two or three times a day for 20 to 30 minutes per each use can obtain the same treatment effect as mentioned previously.

[2] A low frequency magnetic field physical treatment apparatus for treating a human body, comprising a pulse signal controller making pulse trains through one or more than two channels in αder to generate time variable magnetic field canying one or more than two treatment souees including Shumann resonance frequency, alternating teirestrial magnetism, water molecule resonance frequencies, inducing active potentials to trigger depolarization of cell membrane; a magnetic field inducing driving part supplying time variable magnetic field canying one or more than two treatment souees including Shuman resonance frequency and water molecule resonance frequencies through one or more than two channels made from a pulse signal controller through one or more than two pulse trains made as cuirent souee to magnetic field inducing coils; one or more than two magnetic inducing coils generating magnetic field to iiradiate pulse magnetic field to a human body through one or more than two pulse trains canying one or more than two treatment soirees including Shumann resonance frequency and water molecule resonance frequencies made as curent souces.
[3] A low frequency magnetic field physical therapy apparatus as claimed in claiml, wherein one or more than two treatment souees are optionally selected out of
brain waves, water molecule resonance frequencies and Shumann resonance frequency to input into the frequency modulation prog-am, making one or more than two channels to supply low frequency pulse curent to one or more than two magnetic field inducing coils.
[4] A low frequency magnetic field physical therapy apparatus as claimed in 1 or 3, wherein more than two magnetic inducing coils are famed in Hemmholtz coils to obtain constant magnetic field, enhancing the effect of treatment.
[5] A low frequency magnetic field physical therapy apparatus as claimed in 2, wherein treatment soirees are optionally applied to supply low frequency pulse curent through one or more than two channels made by modulating frequencies to one or more than two magnetic field inducing coils.
[6] A low frequency magnetic field physical therapy apparatus as claimed in 5, wherein one or more than two brain waves are optionally applied out of 12.5 Hz, 16.3Hz, 23.4, 39.6Hz, 87Hz and 250Hz, water molecule resonance frequencies 6Hz, or more than two frequencies out of 6Hz, 40.1Hz, 20.6Hz, 10.4Hz. 8.4Hz and 6.9Hz, and Shumann resonance frequency 7.8Hz is applied.
[7] A low frequency magnetic field physical therapy apparatus, comprising: a pulse signal controller making pulse trains signal through one or more than two channels in αder to generate time variable magnetic field caπying one or more than two treatment souees, inducing active potentials to trigger depolarization of cell membrane to treat a whole body or a specific part of a body; a magnetic field inducing driving part supplying pulse curent to one or more than two magnetic field inducing coils to generate time variable magnetic field caπying one or more than two treatment souces through one or more than two pulse trains made as curent souce; one or more than two magnetic inducing coils lying in a container to generate magnetic field inside the container which holds dielectric solution in αder to use dielectric material which loses curent less while treatment souces are being transmitted to iiradiate pulse magnetic field generated through one or more than two pulse trains caπying one or more than two treatment souces made as curent souce to a human body.
[8] A low frequency magnetic field physical therapy apparatus, comprising: a pulse signal controller making pulse trains signal in αder to generate time variable magnetic field caπying one or mσe than two treatment souces including alternating teirestrial frequency, Shumann resonance frequency, water
molecule resonance frequencies through one or more than two channels, inducing action potentials to trigger depolarization of cell membrane; a magnetic field inducing driving part supplying pulse curent to magnetic field inducing coils to generate time variable magnetic field caπying one or more than two treatment soirees including Shumann resonance frequency and water molecule resonance frequencies through one or more than two pulse trains made as curent souce; one or more than two magnetic field inducing coils lying in a container to generate magnetic field inside the container which holds dielectric solution in αder to use dielectric material which loses curent less, while treatment souces are being transmitted to itradiate pulse magnetic field generated through one or more than two pulse trains caπying one or more than two treatment souces including Shumann resonance frequency and water molecule resonance frequencies made as curent souce to a human body.
[9] A low frequency magnetic field physical therapy apparatus as claimed in 7, wherein one or more than two treatment souces are optionally applied out of brain waves, water molecule resonance frequencies, and Shumann resonance frequency to supply low frequency pulse curent through one or more than two channels by modulating frequencies to one or more than two magnetic field inducing coils .
[10] A low frequency magnetic field physical therapy apparatus, comprising: a pulse signal controller making pulse trains signal through one or more than two channels in αder to generate time variable magnetic field caπying one or more than two treatment souces, inducing active potentials to trigger depolarization of cell membrane in αder to treat a whole body or a specific part of a body; a magnetic field inducing coil driving part supplying pulse curent which generates time variable magnetic field caπying one or more than two treatment souces through one or more than two channels generating one or more than two pulse trains made as curent souce to one or more than two magnetic field inducing coils; one or more than two magnetic field inducing coils generating pulse magnetic field caπying one or more than two treatment souces in αder to iiradiate to a human body through one or more than two pulse trains made as curent souce supplied by above mentioned magnetic field inducing driving parts; a portable low frequency magnetic field physical therapy apparatus using a
battery or a chargeable battery in αder to drive a pulse signal controller and a magnetic field inducing driving part.
[11] A portable low frequency magnetic field physical therapy apparatus for treating a human body, comprising: a pulse signal controller making pulse trains through one or more than two channels in αder to generate time variable magnetic field caπying one or more than two treatment soutces including Shumann resonance frequency, alternating teirestrial magnetism, water molecule resonance frequencies, inducing active potentials to trigger depolarization of cell membrane, comprising: a magnetic field inducing driving part supplying time variable magnetic field caπying one or more than two treatment soutces including Shuman resonance frequency and water molecule resonance frequencies through one or more than two pulse trains made as curent soutce to magnetic field inducing coils; one or more than two magnetic inducing coils generating magnetic field to itradiate pulse magnetic field to a human body through one or more than two pulse trains caπying one or more than two treatment soirees including Shumann resonance frequency and water molecule resonance frequencies made as curent souces; a portable low frequency magnetic field physical therapy apparatus using a battery or a chargeable battery in αder to drive a pulse signal controller and a magnetic field inducing driving part.
[12] A low frequency magnetic field physical therapy apparatus as claimed in 10, wherein one or more than two treatment soutces are optionally selected out of brain waves, water molecule resonance frequencies and Shumann resonance frequency to input into the frequency modulation program, supplying low frequency pulse curent to one or more than two magnetic field inducing coils through one or more than two channels.
[13] A low frequency magnetic field physical therapy apparatus as claimed in one out of 1, 2, 3, 5, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, and 12, wherein, when a pulse signal controller consists of more than two magnetic field inducing coils in αder to enhance the effect of treatment, the curent is supplied in bidirectional pulse signal to itradiate pulse magnetic field to a human body but supplied alternately at the interval of several minutes repeatedly.
[14] A low frequency magnetic field physical therapy apparatus as claimed in one out of 1, 2, 3, 5, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, and 12, wherein, when pulse signal is supplied to the
one or more than two channels made by modulating frequencies in older to apply a number of treatment sources at the same time, one of the pulse cuirent wavefαms can be selected out of exponentially rising wavefαm, exponentially falling wavefαm, exponentially rising wavefαm in bidirection, and exponentially falling wavefαm in bidirection.
[15] A low frequency magnetic field physical therapy apparatus as claimed in 14, wherein exponentially rising pulse cuirent wavefαm, exponentially rising wavefαm in bidirection, exponentially falling wavefαm, and exponentially falling wavefαm in bidirection are made by a timer, a digital switch, capacity, resistance and an operational amplifier.
[16] A low frequency magnetic field physical therapy apparatus as claimed in one out of 1, 2, 7, 8, 10, and 11, wherein a pulse signal controller consists of a micro processor, a memory, DIO and an electronic ciicuit, and the pulse control program modulates frequencies to generate signals including one or more than two frequencies canying one or more than two treatment souces in square waves through one channel, DIO, and when these square waves pass electronic ciicuit, one of the wavefαms should be selected out of exponentially rising, or falling wavefαm, or exponentially rising or falling wavefαm in bidirection.
[17] A low frequency magnetic field physical therapy apparatus as claimed in one out of 1, 2, 7, 8, 10, and 11, wherein a low frequency magnetic field physical therapy apparatus is linked to a pulse signal controller, equipped with key input part so that a user can input operating command and time and the intensity of magnetic field, and equipped with a displayer in αder to display data input through a key i nput part, the process of physical treatment and the operating state of an apparatus.
[18] A low frequency magnetic field physical therapy apparatus as claimed in one out of 1, 2, 7, 8, 10, and 11, wherein a pulse signal controller should consist of constant curent souee in αder to supply constant intensity of magnetic field.
[19] A low frequency magnetic field physical therapy apparatus as claimed in one out of 1, 2, 7, 8, 10, and 11, wherein a number of treatment modes are designed and manufactured on the basis of above mentioned treatment soutces so that users can select proper treatment mode to treat a whole or specific part of a body.
