Abstract

 工作機械の主軸装置において、駆動装置(25)によるロッド(18)の押圧力を検出する圧力センサ(31)と、ロッド(18)の変位を検出する変位センサ(32)と、このロッド(18)の押圧力とロッド(18)の変位に基づいてコレット(20)による工具(19)のクランプ力を検出する工具クランプ力検出部(33)と、この工具のクランプ力と予め設定された皿ばね(24)の付勢力特性値に基づいて皿ばね(24)の交換時期を判定するばね交換時期判定部(36)を設けることで、工具クランプ力を適正に検出して付勢手段の交換時期を高精度に判定可能とする。
