Abstract

The invention relates to an air supply device (1), for the cabin of a motor vehicle, comprising at least one evaporator (2) and a sterilising system (5). The air supply device (1) also comprises a set of control valves (15, 16, 17, 22) which can permit : a flow of gas from the evaporator (2) to the cabin in normal operation and a flow of gas from the cabin through the evaporator (2) in evaporator sterilisation operation, the sterilisation system (5) being arranged upstream of the evaporator (2) in evaporator sterilisation operation.
