Abstract

An outlet device arranged on a wall surface is provided with an outlet box for storing electric wiring and optical interconnection; a cover plate for covering the outlet box; and an optical outlet case for storing a connecting adaptor whereupon an optical connector directly attached to an end portion of an optical fiber cable is mounted. An opening for exposing an optical connecting port for the connecting adaptor is formed on the optical outlet case. The optical outlet case is protruded from the cover plate so that the optical connecting port faces diagonally downward.
