Abstract
Device for harnessing the energy resulting from the difference in hydrostatic pressure, characterized in that it comprises several casings placed in a rotary circuit, a tank containing a liquid medium, and an air injection mechanism submerged in the tank of liquid medium, such that the circuit can rotate like a water wheel, allowing the casings to follow a cyclic, repetitive path of rotation, entering and emerging from the liquid medium in the tank, and the air injection mechanism injects air into the liquid medium in the tank; as said air rises owing to the hydrostatic pressure inside the liquid medium, it pushes up each of the casings located in a particular position on the mechanism, this being what causes the circuit to rotate like a water wheel, and when the casings pushed upwards by the air arrive at the surface, they follow the path established by the circuit and are submerged again in the liquid medium in the tank, the other casings in the circuit then taking up the particular position on the mechanism so as to receive the ascendant push of the air injected by the mechanism, the cycle thus being repeated successively, and the rotary movement of the circuit being transmitted to a shaft so as to harness the energy.
