Technical Field
[1] The present invention relates to system and method for compensating royalty of copyright on online contents using user's editing rights of advertisements for contents owner, and in particular, to a royalty compensation system, which provides publicly an online content to a plurality of users, when a specific user selects compensation on the online content, inserts a predetermined advertising phrase corresponding to the online content into a content post page, and simultaneously provides an owner of the online content with an advertising fee of an advertiser as a royalty, and to a royalty compensating method. [2] Today, with development of computer and Internet technology, digital contents that can be copied unlimitedly without damage of the original have been produced and distributed, for example software, digital sound sources, digital movies, digital photographs and digital images. Among the digital contents, most of advanced contents produced by expert creators are published or provided to users with charge by specialized service providers.
[3] However, in the Internet environment, text, photographs and moving images
(referred to as UCCs (User Created Contents), also known as UGCs (User Generated Contents)) that are produced by common creators as creative expression of their thought, feelings or knowledge, are contained in online contents published to a plurality of users, for example, blogs, community and question and answer pages, and are publicly provided to the users. When the contents are transmitted to a plurality of users over the Internet, the rights of creators should be protected, however, in reality, Internet service providers such as web portal providers make business profits by the contents whereas the common creators substantially do not obtain royalties, and the contents are administered such loosely as to be easily copied by one click. Recently, as UCCs are increasingly used in a single-media, in particular blogs, and influence larger on consumers (Attention Economy theory), common creators recognize concept about royalty compensation more importantly.
[4] Recently, operators of web sites such as blogs or community producing online contents (including Internet service providers that recruit creator members and give accounts to the creator members) arrange a program source capable of calling out ad-
vertisements of Internet advertisement brokers (AdSense of Google, Overture of Yahoo, or RealClick or LinkPrice in Korea) on their homepage or content output portion. Here, there is a system which indirectly compensates for production of online contents by giving the operators a predetermined portion of advertising earnings as a commission whenever advertisements are called out.
[5] However, such a CPC (Cost Per Click) keyword advertising system does not allow for contents users to see indication of compensation participation according to advertisement click. And, advertisements are displayed in advance regardless of subscription, so that the content users are reluctant to the advertisements, the contents are mismatched with the advertisements in aspect of subject, and unit cost of compensation or compensation records are not transparently published to the creators. In particular, advertisers are anxious about click fraud committed due to profit-seeking desire of creators and intent to cause damage by competitors. That is, in the case that cost per click characteristic conflicts with profit-seeking desire of common users in web sites based on mutual interchange between the common users, the advertisers may be damaged, and thus the system is not suitable for a means for directly compensating a small amount of royalty of UCC. Further, the system is incapable of compensation according to scrap of users online. Disclosure of Invention
Technical Problem
[6] The present invention is designed in consideration of the above matters, and therefore an object of the present invention is to provide system and method in which a creator produces and publishes an online content in the client/server environment where a predetermined compensation procedures are performed, and a subscriber uses freely the online content in the subscriber/client environment and when recognizing endeavor of the creator, compensates to the creator using his/her advertisement editing right on condition of permission to post an advertisement.
[7] The present invention incorporates a system which compensates a royalty when the subscriber uses (appreciates) the online content, orders compensation by a sentimental factor such as impression or sympathy, and copies or scraps the content, one of the intellectual rights.
[8] And, the present invention incorporates a system that royalty compensation occurred by a user's use or scrap of an online content is provided to a content owner, and an advertiser member pays a royalty on behalf of the user by inserting an advertisement into a content output portion of a content web page in accordance with the subject of the online content. Technical Solution
[9] In order to achieve the above-mentioned objects, according to a royalty compensation system for compensating royalty of copyright on online contents using user's editing rights of advertisements, which, in the case that a user using unlimitedly an online content recognizes endeavor of a creator and selects compensation, inserts a user information and an advertising information into a compensation list of a post page in real time and compensates to the creator with a predetermined royalty supported from advertising fees of an advertiser, the royalty compensation system is provided with a royalty compensating server which includes means for receiving, from an advertiser terminal, an advertising information including an advertising keyword, an advertising phrase, an advertiser name and an advertising link and storing the advertising information into an advertisement database (DB); means for receiving, from a creator terminal, a content information including an online content containing a post content of text, music, image, moving image or game, a content keyword, acceptance or rejection of content publication and acceptance or rejection of content compensation, and storing the content information into a content DB; means for providing a post page on which the online content is posted at the request of a user terminal, the post page having compensation buttons and a compensation list; means for receiving a one-time compensation selection of an individual user when the user likes the online content or wants to scrap the online content on the post page; means for additionally registering, into the compensation list of the post page, a user information and an advertising information (an advertiser name and an advertising phrase that are linked to an advertising URL (Uniform Resource Locator)) corresponding to a specific advertisement selected according to order of coincidence after comparing the advertising keyword with the content keyword when compensation is selected; and means for compensating to a creator with a royalty at a charge of an advertiser by the user's selection of compensation.
[10] And, according to a royalty compensation method for compensating royalty of copyright on online contents using user's editing rights of advertisements, which in the case that a user using unlimitedly an online content recognizes endeavor of a creator and selects compensation, inserts a user information and an advertising information into a compensation list of a post page in real time and compensates to the creator with a predetermined royalty supported from advertising fees of an advertiser, the method comprises (SlO) a royalty compensating server receiving subscription application from an advertiser terminal, a creator terminal and a user terminal through a homepage and storing a member information into a member DB; (S20) the royalty compensating server receiving an advertising information and advertising fees from the advertiser terminal and storing the advertising information into an advertisement DB; (S30) the royalty compensating server receiving a content information including an online
content and a content keyword from the creator terminal and storing the content information into a content DB; (S40) the royalty compensating server providing a post page of a corresponding online content at the request of the user terminal; (S50) in the case that a user likes the online content or wants to scrap the online content on the post page, the royalty compensating server receiving a one-time compensation selection; (S60) in the case that compensation selection is received, the royalty compensating server registering additionally, into the compensation list of the post page, a user information and an advertising information (an advertiser name and an advertising phrase that are linked to an advertising URL) after selection of a specific advertisement extracted by comparing the advertising keyword with the content keyword; and (S70) the royalty compensating server compensating to the creator with a royalty at a charge of the advertiser by the user's compensation selection, whereby the royalty of the online content is compensated using an advertisement on a web page interface of the royalty compensating server. [28] A royalty compensation system 1 according to the present invention comprises a royalty compensating server 2, an advertiser terminal 3, a creator terminal 4 and a user terminal 5.
[29] A royalty compensation service of the present invention, provided by the royalty compensation system 1 allows for a plurality of users to use an online content un- limitedly which a creator registers for the purpose of distribution to the users. And, a user evaluates the online content, and when recognizing endeavor of the creator, selects "compensation" to perform a royalty compensation. The generated royalty may be charged to the user or an advertiser. In the case that the royalty is charged to the user, when the user selects compensation, a list of user information is registered on a content post page. In the case that the royalty is charged to the advertiser, an advertisement corresponding to the online content is selected together with a user information and is registered into a list of user information. The registered advertisement is provided to a plurality of users accessing the post page. Here, registration of user information makes public to others a user having executed compensation. That is, a compensation executor is necessarily a user, but a royalty payer may be a user or an advertiser. Meanwhile, in the present invention, advertisement posting is determined by compensation selection of a user, and thus an advertisement is posted depending on evaluation of the content by the user having an advertisement editing right. Further, the user can freely use the content without selection of "compensation".
[30] A homepage 201 receives an advertising information from an advertiser, including an advertising keyword, an advertising phrase, an advertiser name and an advertising link using the advertiser terminal 3. The registered advertising information is inserted into the post page provided with the online content according to compensation selection of the user, and thus the advertising information is provided to the online
content users. The advertisement to be added whenever a user selects compensation is entered in a compensation list located in the post page. Therefore, through the content post page, the user who received the content post page can check history of a user having executed compensation and an advertiser having paid a royalty. Whenever compensation is generated, user information (in the case that a user is charged with a royalty) or user information + advertisement information (in the case that an advertiser is charged with a royalty) is added to the compensation list, and thus, as a plurality of users select compensation, data of the compensation list increases. Therefore, an online content for which many users selected compensation is verified as a popular or useful content by the users.
[31] However, in the case that data of the compensation list is increased by continuous selection of users, the post page may be displayed on a browser slowly or utility of users may be reduced. Therefore, to support convenience of users, the present invention restricts to indicate the minimum advertising information as a subject of royalty compensation, not imprudently permit advertisement posting. Accordingly, the present invention limits the advertising information of a case registered into the compensation list to indicate only an advertise name and an advertising phrase. And, the present invention may limit the total data amount that can be registered into the compensation list. For example, the present invention limits the total number of "compensation" or the total amount of royalty provided to a creator, and if the limitation is exceeded, further compensation is not allowed.
[32] In the present invention, an advertisement is selected in a descending order of consistence after comparing an advertising keyword registered by an advertiser with a content keyword registered by a creator. For example, comparison is performed in aspect of degree of consistence, in the case of the same degree of consistence, an earlier registered advertisement is first selected, and an advertisement having higher royalty is selected next. This advertisement selection may be made through an advance comparison to select sequentially at least one advertisement, however preferably is made in real time to include advertisements registered in real time. And, the present invention may be configured through change of design such that the advertiser selects a specific online content according to business policy and the creator agrees to the selection. In this case, however, the commercial purpose is considered with priority, which may cause inconvenience to users.
[33] After advertisement registration is performed as described above, the homepage 201 receives registration of the online content from the creator. In the present invention, the online content includes text, music, image, animation, moving image or game, and is not limited to a specific data type. A typical example is a user created content (UCC) (also known as user generated content (UGC)) with various data formats. In the online
content registration, the creator may determine a keyword, publication range or acceptance or rejection of compensation of the online content. Therefore, in the case that the creator permits compensation and expands the publication range to the whole member user, more compensation may be performed. And, in the case that the creator does not register the keyword, for keyword comparison in advertisement selection, the keyword may be extracted by automatically searching the title and substance of the online content registered by the creator. However, automatic keyword extraction is more useful when the creator writes and registers the writing.
[34] 1.2 Configuration of royalty compensating server
[35] FIG. 2 is an internal configuration diagram of a royalty compensating server 2 according to an embodiment of the present invention. The internal configuration is described with reference to FIGs. 3 to 7 for easy understanding.
[36] The royalty compensating server 2 according to an embodiment of the present invention includes an advertising information managing means 21, a content managing means 22, a post page providing means 23, a compensation selection receiving means 24, a compensation list registering means 25 and a royalty compensating means 26. Besides, the royalty compensating server 2 includes an advertisement DB 210, a content DB 220, a member DB 250 and other DBs through construction of DBMS (Data Base Management System). These means provide the above-mentioned royalty compensation service to the advertiser terminal 3, the creator terminal 4 and user terminal 5 through a homepage interface.
[37] The advertising information managing means 21 receives advertising information transmitted by the advertiser terminal 3 and stores the advertising information in the advertisement DB 210. Referring to FIG. 3, the advertiser inputs an advertising keyword and an advertising phrase on an advertisement register page. The advertising phrase or advertiser name is added to the compensation list in the post page, and each is connected to advertising link address. The advertising link address can be linked to advertising product page, advertiser's homepage or a play page of an advertising file.
[38] The content managing means 22 receives a content and a content information transmitted by the creator terminal 4, and stores the content and content information in the content DB 220. Referring to FIG. 4, the creator registers a keyword and uses the keyword to compare with a user's search keyword or an advertiser's advertising keyword. Here, if the creator does not register the keyword when registering the online content, the content managing means 22 automatically extracts a keyword from the title or substance of the online content by an automatic keyword extracting function, and stores the extracted keyword in the content DB 220. And, the creator may set the publication range, and select data attributes such as compensation, scrap, reply, search, and RSS (Really Simple Syndication) distribution, which is available for users.
[39] The post page providing means 23 receives a request for providing of a post page from the user terminal 5 and provides a corresponding web page in response to the request. Referring to FIG. 5, the user can view and play the content through the post page. Although FIG. 5 shows that the creator registers writings, the present invention is not limited in this regard, for example the creator may register various contents such as moving image or music. The post page has, for example, "reply", "compensation" and "scrap" buttons. In the present invention, the compensation selection includes "compensation" and "scrap". The "compensation" and "scrap" allow to provide the creator with a predetermined royalty as the endeavor of the creator is recognized by evaluation of the user. The "compensation" button is pushed when the user uses the online content (subscribes to, appreciates, plays or executes in a file type) and likes the online content, and the "scrap" button is pushed when the user wants to scrap the online content to his/her own post page. According to business policy, royalty compensation may be discriminatory. Each of the "compensation" and "scrap" buttons corresponds to a unique processing routine according to selection of the user, and a source for defining a processing routine assigned to each button may be distributed to the external. If the source is distributed to the external and a specific button is selected, the royalty compensating server 2 receives the button selection from the external and performs compensation according to execution of the corresponding source.
[40] The compensation selection receiving means 24 receives a one-time compensation selection from the user terminal 5, in the case that an individual user likes the online content or wants to scrap the online content on the post page. A compensation button receiving function 241 and a scrap button receiving function 242 receive the button selection of the user.
[41] In the present invention, according to business policy, the royalty may be necessarily charged on the advertiser or the user may select a royalty payer (user himself/herself or advertiser). In the case of user's selection, the compensation selection receiving means 24 receives the button selection, and notifies the user to select a royalty payer and receives the user's selection.
[42] The compensation list registering means 25 adds information of a compensation exe cutor and a royalty compensator to the compensation list located at the bottom of the post page. A user information extracting function 251 extracts information of the user who selected compensation from the member DB 250. In the case that the user selects not to publish his/her user information or to publish partially his/her user information when the user selects compensation, a user information indication judging function 252 judges the level of publication to other users. If an advertiser member selects compensation to register an advertisement directly, the user information indication judging function 252 may not display a compensation executor information (advertiser in-
formation). A keyword extracting function 253 extracts a content keyword from the content DB 220. An advertisement selecting function 254 selects a highly consistent advertisement by comparing the advertisement keyword stored in the advertisement DB 210 with the extracted content keyword. Here, according to business policy, the selected advertisement is preferably excluded in the next advertisement selection. A compensation list adding function 255 adds the extracted user information and the selected advertisement information to the compensation list. FIG. 6 shows an example of screen in which a "subscriber ID" is indicated as a user information and an "advertising phrase" and an "advertiser name" are indicated as an advertising information on a "compensator indicating unit". Here, the "advertising phrase" or "advertiser name" is linked to an advertising link registered by the advertiser, to generate a predetermined event, for example regeneration of an advertising page, a pop-up advertising window and an advertising file of the advertiser.
[43] In the case that the user selects "scrap", after the compensation list is completed, details of compensation of a corresponding case are registered on the scrapped page of the user. The scrapped page has also "compensation" and "scrap" buttons, and in the case that the buttons are pushed by a visitor, the visitor is notified that the buttons should be pushed on an original post page, and link to the original post page is indicated. And, when selecting the link, the visitor visits to the original post page.
[44] In the case that data is added to the compensation list whenever compensation is selected as described above, a user who will visit in the future may experience a low- speed screen display caused by the capacity. And, most of users who intend to mainly use online contents may be reluctant to a considerable amount of compensation. Thus, it is preferred to manage the capacity in the compensation list.
[45] For example, it is to restrict the number of data that can be registered into the compensation list. In the case that the number of data exceeds the capacity, it may be set such that data is not in the compensation list, but compensation is made. And, the royalty provided to the creator may have an upper limit. In the case that the royalty exceeds the upper limit, further royalty is not allowed. The capacity management may vary according to business policy.
[46] FIG. 6 is an example view of a post page screen provided when a user selects "compensation" according to an embodiment of the present invention, and FIG. 7 is an example view of a post page screen provided when a user selects "scrap" according to an embodiment of the present invention.
[47] The royalty compensating means 26 accumulates a one-time royalty generated by selection of the user on the existing royalty of the creator. As described above, a royalty payer is the advertiser or the user according to business policy. An advertiser charging function 261 subtracts a one-time royalty from the advertising fee of the
advertiser, and provides the royalty to the creator. And, a user charging function 262 subtracts a one-time royalty from a reserve (accumulated royalty) of the user, and provides the royalty to the creator.

[52] The method for compensating royalty of copyright on online contents using user's editing rights of advertisements according to an embodiment of the present invention is preferably incorporated by construction of the above-mentioned content compensation system.
[53] FIG. 8 is a whole flow chart of a royalty compensating method according to an embodiment of the present invention.
[54] The homepage 201 of the royalty compensating server 2 receives connection of the advertiser terminal 3, the creator terminal 4 and the user terminal 5 through the wire or wireless network, and receives application for subscription registration to process a subscription registration (SlO).
[55] The advertiser registers advertising information into the royalty compensating server 2 and settles advertising fees (S20). In describing the step (S20) in detail with reference to FIG. 9, the advertiser is informed of an advertisement registering method and advertising fees through an advertisement notice page (S21). The advertiser selects advertisement registration (S22), and is provided with the exemplary advertisement register page shown in FIG. 3 (S23). The advertiser inputs an advertising information including an advertising keyword, an advertising phrase, an advertiser name and an advertising link through the advertisement register page (S24) and presses an OK button (S25), and then the corresponding advertising information is stored into the advertisement DB 210 and keyword comparison is made in real time according to the user's selection of compensation (S26).
[56] The creator registers an online content and a content information to the royalty
compensating server 2 (S30). In describing the step (S30) in detail with reference to FIG. 10, the creator is provided with the content register page shown in FIG. 4 (S31), and inputs a content keyword (S32). And, the creator selects and inputs the content information including acceptance or rejection of content publication (non-publication, partial publication and publication), of royalty compensation, of scrap compensation, of reply compensation, of search and of RSS distribution (S33). The creator inputs data and presses an OK button (S34), and then the royalty compensating server 2 stores the content information into the content DB 220 and provides users with a post page on which an online content is posted (S35). If the creator does not register a content keyword in the step (S32), the royalty compensating server 2 automatically extracts a content keyword from the title of substance of the online content and registers the content keyword into the content DB.
[57] When a user logs in the royalty compensating server 2 and requests for providing of a specific online content, the user is provided with the post page shown in FIG. 5 (S40). The post page has the online content posted thereon, and has a compensation button selected in the case that the user uses (subscribes to, appreciates, plays or executes) the online content and likes the online content, and a scrap button (scrap compensation button) selected in the case that the user wants to scrap the online content to his/her web page. And, the royalty compensating server 2 has a compensation list to which a user information and an advertising information are added when the compensation button or the scrap button is pressed to generate compensation.
[58] After the user is provided with the post page, the user evaluates the online content, and in the case that the user recognizes the endeavor of the creator, selects compensation (S50). In describing the step (S50) in detail with reference to FIG. 11, the user selects the compensation button or the scrap button for compensation selection (S51). When the button is selected, the user is provided with a notice of each compensation (S52). When the user reads the notice and finally approves the compensation (S53), information of compensation selection is transmitted to the royalty compensating server 2 (S54). Here, after compensation selection is made, the royalty compensating server 2 asks the user whether a royalty is charged to the advertiser or the user himself/herself. If the user selects his/her payment of the royalty, the royalty is provided to the creator by deducting the royalty from the user's reserve.
[59] After compensation selection is generated, the royalty compensating server 2 compares the content keyword with the advertising keyword stored in the advertisement DB 210, selects a specific advertisement according to degree of coincidence and registers the corresponding advertising information and user information into the compensation list in the post page (S60). In describing the case the compensation button is pressed in the step (S60) in detail with reference to FIG. 12, the
royalty compensating server 2 receives a compensation command from the user terminal 5 (S61). And, the royalty compensating server 2 compares the content keyword with the advertiser keyword and judges the degree of coincidence (S62). If a specific advertisement having highest coincidence is selected, the royalty compensating server 2 judges if the corresponding advertisement or advertiser is registered into the post page for the first time (S63). In the case that the advertisement or advertiser is registered for the first time, the royalty compensating server 2 judges if the user compensated the same content in the past (S64). In the case that the user compensates the content for the first time, the royalty compensating server 2 adds, to the compensation list, a user information (user name) and an advertising information of the corresponding advertisement, such as an advertiser name and an advertising phrase (S65). Indication of the user information added to the compensation list may be omitted partially at the user's selection (may be indicated partially), and in the case that the user selects to pay the royalty at a charge of himself/herself, only the user information is registered into the compensation list without registering the advertising information. The capacity of the compensation list increases continuously by compensation selection, and thus it requires a proper capacity management as described above. Here, whenever compensation selection occurs, it is required that the user makes an initial compensation selection and the creator or the advertiser makes an advertisement registration without repetition, and thus the creator or the advertiser is allowed to make a compensation selection in a user's place. And, it is possible to exclude the case that the creator or the advertiser selects compensation as a user in consideration of interest relations.
[60] And, in describing the case that the scrap button is pressed in the step (S60) in detail with reference to FIG. 13, the royalty compensating server 2 receives a scrap command from the user terminal 5 (S601). And, the royalty compensating server 2 compares the content keyword with the advertiser keyword and judges if a specific advertisement is selected (S602). In the case that a specific advertisement is not selected, the user can scrap the content at a charge of himself/herself. When a specific advertisement is selected, the royalty compensating server 2 judges if the user scrapped the same content in the past (S603). In the case that the user scraps the content for the first time, the royalty compensating server 2 adds, to the compensation list, a user information (user name) and an advertising information of the corresponding advertisement, such as an advertiser name and an advertising phrase, and registers the user information and the advertising information into a post page of the user, on which the online content is scrapped (S604). In the case that another visitor selects compensation or scrap in the post page of the user, the royalty compensating server 2 gives a notice that it is a scrapped online content and links to a post page that provides the original content.
[61] When compensation or scrap is completed, the royalty compensating server 2 calculates a royalty generated from the corresponding compensation selection and provides the royalty to the creator (S70). Basically, the present invention is based on the policy that a royalty is charged to an advertiser, and thus the present invention deducts the royalty from advertising fees (reserve) and provides the royalty to the creator. If the user selects to pay the royalty at a charge of himself/herself, it is possible to deduct the royalty from a reserve (royalty reserve) of the user and provide the royalty to the creator. Meanwhile, in the present invention, the advertiser may compensate the royalty directly. For example, the advertiser selects a specific online content directly and selects compensation or scrap, and then pays a predetermined advertising fee and registers his/her advertising information. In this case, preferably a higher-cost royalty is charged to the advertiser.
[62] Described above are embodiments of system and method for compensating royalty of copyright on online contents using user's editing rights of advertisement. However, it should be understood that the detailed description and specific examples, while indicating preferred embodiments of the invention, are given by way of illustration only, since various changes and modifications within the spirit and scope of the invention will become apparent to those skilled in the art from this detailed description. Industrial Applicability
[63] The system and method for compensating royalty of copyright on online contents using user's editing rights of advertisements according to the present invention allows for an online content user to evaluate objectively a creation endeavor of a creator, judge acceptance or rejection of online advertisement insertion without his/her own charge and materially compensate to the creator for the creation endeavor.
[64] And, according to the present invention, a rightful royalty is charged for scrapping
(copying) of an online content as an object of copyright.
[65] And, according to the present invention, when compensation occurs, a royalty compensation executor and a royalty payer of an online content as an object of compensation are indicated explicitly and an advertising information is registered thereby to provide a new CPA (Cost Per Attachment) type advertising service.
[66] And, unlike the conventional manner in which advertisements are exposed in advance regardless of selection of users, an advertisement is inserted at the user's compensation selection of an online content, so that users accept advertisement insertion for protecting the use of the online content without reluctant feelings.
[67] And, as users having executed compensation and contents are specified, advertisers can advertise transparently and effectively.
[68] Further, the present invention allows for general netizens to be compensated for
their online contents and to make compensation for consumption of other creators' content, thereby spreading and prompting a copyright protection culture.
Claims
Claims
[1] A royalty compensation system for compensating royalty of copyright on online contents using user's editing rights of advertisements, which, in the case that a user using unlimitedly an online content recognizes endeavor of a creator and selects compensation, inserts a user information and an advertising information into a compensation list of a post page in real time and compensates to the creator with a predetermined royalty supported from advertising fees of an advertiser, the royalty compensation system being provided with a royalty compensating server which includes: means for receiving, from an advertiser terminal, an advertising information including an advertising keyword, an advertising phrase, an advertiser name and an advertising link and storing the advertising information into an advertisement database (DB); means for receiving, from a creator terminal, a content information including an online content containing a post content of text, music, image, moving image or game, a content keyword, acceptance or rejection of content publication and acceptance or rejection of content compensation, and storing the content information into a content DB; means for providing a post page on which the online content is posted at the request of a user terminal, the post page having compensation buttons and a compensation list; means for receiving a one-time compensation selection of an individual user when the user likes the online content or wants to scrap the online content on the post page; means for additionally registering, into the compensation list of the post page, a u ser information and an advertising information (an advertiser name and an advertising phrase that are linked to an advertising URL (Uniform Resource Locator)) corresponding to a specific advertisement selected according to order of coincidence after comparing the advertising keyword with the content keyword when compensation is selected; and means for compensating to a creator with a royalty at a charge of an advertiser by the user's selection of compensation.
[2] The royalty compensation system according to claim 1, wherein the royalty compensating server registers only the user information into the compensation list without registering the advertising information, in the case that the user selects compensation and selects to pay the royalty at a charge of himself/herself.
[3] The royalty compensation system according to claim 1, wherein the means for storing into the content DB further has a function for automatically extracting a content keyword from title and substance of the online content registered by the creator and storing the content keyword into the content DB, in the case that the creator does not register a content keyword when registering the online content.
[4] The royalty compensation system according to claim 1, wherein the means for receiving a compensation selection has a function for receiving a selection of a compensation button in the case that the user uses (subscribes to, appreciates, plays or executes) the online content on the post page and likes the online content; and a function for receiving a selection of a scrap button in the case that the user uses the online content on the post page and wants to scrap the online content to his/ her web page.
[5] The royalty compensation system according to claim 1, wherein the means for receiving a compensation selection has a function for additionally receiving a selection of the user whether the user will select to pay the royalty at a charge of himself/herself or at a charge of the advertiser after the user selects compensation.
[6] The royalty compensation system according to claim 1, wherein the means for registering into the compensation list has a function for extracting, from a member DB, a user information of a user who selects compensation; a function for indicating the user information extracted by the user's compensation selection to the compensation list or omitting (or partially indicating) indication of the user information; a function for extracting an advertising keyword from the advertisement DB and extracting a content keyword from the content DB; a function for comparing the extracted advertising keyword with the extracted content keyword and selecting a specific advertisement to be posted according to order of coincidence; and a function for registering the extracted user information and an advertising information of the selected advertisement into the compensation list .
[7] The royalty compensation system according to claim 1 or 6, wherein, for the purpose of restriction of data added to the compensation list, in the case that it exceeds the total data number of the compensation list or royalty limitation set to the creator, the means for registering into the compensation list disallows compensation and informs the user of reason of disallowance.
[8] The royalty compensation system according to claim 1, wherein the means for compensating a royalty has a function for, in the case that a user selects to pay the royalty at a charge of himself/herself, deducting the royalty from a reserve of the user and compensating to the creator with the royalty; and a function for, in the case that a user selects to pay the royalty at a charge of the advertiser, deducting the royalty from advertising fees of the advertiser.
[9] The royalty compensation system according to claim 1 or 2, wherein, in the case that the user scraps an online content from a post page of the creator, the scrapped online content and an advertising information provided by the advertiser in charge of the royalty at the time of scrapping are registered on the scrapped post page of the user, and in the case that another user selects compensation on the scrapped post page of the user, the means for compensating a royalty links to an original post page for selection of compensation.
[10] A royalty compensation method for compensating royalty of copyright on online contents using user's editing rights of advertisements, which in the case that a user using unlimitedly an online content recognizes endeavor of a creator and selects compensation, inserts a user information and an advertising information into a compensation list of a post page in real time and compensates to the creator with a predetermined royalty supported from advertising fees of an advertiser, the method comprising:
(SlO) a royalty compensating server receiving subscription application from an advertiser terminal, a creator terminal and a user terminal through a homepage and storing a member information into a member DB;
(S20) the royalty compensating server receiving an advertising information and advertising fees from the advertiser terminal and storing the advertising information into an advertisement DB;
(S30) the royalty compensating server receiving a content information including an online content and a content keyword from the creator terminal and storing the content information into a content DB;
(S40) the royalty compensating server providing a post page of a corresponding online content at the request of the user terminal;
(S50) in the case that a user likes the online content or wants to scrap the online content on the post page, the royalty compensating server receiving a one-time compensation selection;
(S60) in the case that compensation selection is received, the royalty compensating server registering additionally, into the compensation list of the post page, a user information and an advertising information (an advertiser name and
an advertising phrase that are linked to an advertising URL) after selection of a specific advertisement extracted by comparing the advertising keyword with the content keyword; and
(S70) the royalty compensating server compensating to the creator with a royalty at a charge of the advertiser by the user's compensation selection, whereby the royalty of the online content is compensated using an advertisement on a web page interface of the royalty compensating server.
[11] The royalty compensation method according to claim 10, wherein, in the step (S20), the royalty compensating server receives, from the advertiser terminal, an advertising information including an advertising keyword for advertisement selection, an advertising phrase, an advertiser name, an advertising link and an advertising fee information and storing the advertising information into the advertisement DB.
[12] The royalty compensation method according to claim 10, wherein, in the step (S30), the royalty compensating server receives, from the creator terminal, a content information including an online content file, a content keyword compared with the advertising keyword, acceptance or rejection of content compensation and acceptance or rejection of scrap compensation, and storing the content information into the content DB.
[13] The royalty compensation method according to claim 10 or 12, wherein, in the step (S30), in the case that the creator does not register the content keyword when registering the online content, the royalty compensating server automatically extracts a content keyword from title and substance of the online content registered by the creator and registers the extracted content keyword into the content DB.
[14] The royalty compensation method according to claim 10, wherein, in the step (S40), the royalty compensating server provides the post page on which an online content is posted, the post page having a compensation button selected in the case that the user uses (subscribes to, appreciates, plays or executes) the online content and likes the online content and a scrap button selected in the case that the user wants to scrap the online content on his/her web page, and the post page having a compensation list to which the user information and the advertising information are added whenever compensation is selected by the user.
[15] The royalty compensation method according to claim 10, wherein, in the step (S50), the royalty compensating server asks the user whether the user selects to pay the royalty at a charge of himself/herself or at a charge of the advertiser, and in the case that the user selects to pay the royalty at a charge
of himself/herself, compensates to the creator with a reserve (accumulated royalty) of the user.
[16] The royalty compensation method according to claim 10, wherein, in the step (S60), the royalty compensating server omits (or partially indicates) indication of the user information added to the compensation list by selection of the user, and in the case that the user selects to pay the royalty at a charge of himself/herself, the royalty compensating server registers only the user information into the compensation list without registering the advertising information.
[17] The royalty compensation method according to claim 10, wherein the step (S70) further includes the advertiser selecting a specific online content directly, selecting compensation, paying predetermined advertising fees and inserting the advertising information into the compensation list.
