Abstract

A cleaning wipe (10) for use in cleaning a surface may be used as a stand-alone product or incorporated with any manner of cleaning tool (46). The wipe (10) includes a base material (12) having an application face (15) and a plurality of projections (14) extending generally transversely from the application face (15). The projections (14) may have various shapes, including a mushroom- shape. A high friction element (24) is applied to at least a portion of the projections (14) such that the projections (14) provide the cleaning wipe (10) with an enhanced abrasive scrubbing functionality.
