Definitions
- the invention relates to a submersible pump with a housing which receives a motor and an impeller driven by the latter and which has a suction opening for sucking liquid and an outlet opening for discharging the liquid.
- the submersible pump comprises a housing which can be immersed in the liquid to be pumped and which - preferably at the bottom of the housing - has a suction opening, so that the liquid sucked, set by the impeller under pressure and arranged on the preferably at the top of the housing Outlet can be discharged.
- a pressure line for example a pressure hose, can be connected to the outlet opening.
- Object of the present invention is to develop a submersible pump of the type mentioned in such a way that it is inexpensive to install.
- the housing has an upper part, a central part and a lower part, which are designed as separate housing parts, wherein the middle part receives the engine and the upper part engages around the middle part and releasably connected to the lower part is connectable.
- the construction of the invention allows easy installation of the submersible pump. It can be provided, for example, that in a first assembly step, the motor is inserted into the middle part of the housing. Subsequently, the middle part can be placed with the engine on the lower part and in a further assembly step, the upper part, the center part releasably connected to the lower part, for example, be screwed.
- the embodiment of the invention not only allows easy installation of the submersible pump but also a cost-effective production of the housing, which may be configured for example as a three-piece plastic molding.
- the upper part may surround the middle part in the manner of a clamp. This gives the housing of the submersible pump a high mechanical stability.
- the upper part braces the middle part with the lower part.
- the upper part can have contact surfaces acting on the middle part, preferably on a ceiling wall of the middle part, via which the middle part can be acted upon by a tensioning force in the direction of the lower part.
- the lower part surrounds a lower edge of the central part in the circumferential direction.
- the lower part may for example have an inner shoulder on which the middle part is seated.
- the lower part defines a pumping space, which has the suction opening and in which the impeller is arranged
- the middle part defines a pressure space, which surrounds the motor in the circumferential direction surrounds and which is in flow communication with the pump chamber and the outlet opening.
- the rotating impeller conveys the liquid from the pump chamber via the pressure chamber to the outlet opening. Since the pressure chamber surrounds the motor in the circumferential direction, this is effectively cooled by the liquid and engine noise is greatly insulated.
- the middle part has an outlet channel which defines the outlet opening and to which a pressure line can be connected.
- the outlet channel can be designed, for example, in the form of a preferably vertically aligned pressure nozzle.
- the discharge nozzle can carry a thread for screwing on a connection fitting.
- the upper part forms a retaining ring which engages around the outlet channel.
- the middle part has a vent channel, which can be closed and opened to vent the submersible pump by means of a vent valve.
- the vent channel is in flow communication with the pressure chamber. It can be provided that the venting channel opens directly into the pressure chamber.
- the venting channel protrudes into the upper part of the housing, so that the upper part forms a mechanical protection for the venting channel.
- the vent valve is in a preferred embodiment can be manually transferred from its closed position to its open position. This has the advantage that can be solved in a simple manner by manual operation encrustations, which can form in a promotion of very dirty liquid in the venting valve. This ensures that the vent valve can be reliably transferred to its open position for venting the submersible pump.
- the venting valve is associated with an actuating element which is preferably arranged on the upper part.
- the arrangement of the actuating element on the upper part has the advantage that the actuating element is accessible to the user in a simple manner, even if the submersible pump was immersed in a liquid to be pumped.
- the vent valve can be opened manually by the user. It can be kept in its open position until virtually all the air has escaped from the submersible pump. As a result, a high delivery capacity of the submersible pump can be achieved.
- vent valve can be manually opened by the user and manually closed.
- the vent valve can be opened manually and that it automatically transitions from its open position to its closed position.
- the vent valve can be biased by means of a spring element in its closed position. This ensures that the vent valve closes automatically after the user releases the actuator.
- the actuating element is designed as a push button.
- the push button can be rigidly coupled to a valve body of the vent valve.
- the pushbutton is integrally connected to the valve body.
- the valve body may for example be designed as a valve piston, which is arranged displaceably in the vent channel. On the outside, the valve body can carry a sealing ring for tight contact with a sealing surface of the venting channel.
- the middle part above the motor has a liquid-tight Control room for receiving control electronics.
- the middle part can form an inner wall in the form of a sleeve into which the motor dips, the sleeve defining the control space above the motor. Letzeer can record control electronics to control the motor.
- the inner wall of the middle part is surrounded by an outer wall, so that the middle part is designed double-walled in height of the control room.
- the inner wall and the outer wall may protrude from a ceiling wall of the central part in the direction of the lower part.
- the inner wall, the outer wall and the ceiling wall form a common plastic molded part.
- the upper part at a distance from the central part has at least one carrying handle, which is encompassed by the user.
- the at least one carrying handle is arranged above the middle part and gives the user the opportunity to take the submersible pump in a simple manner, so that he can immerse it, for example, in a liquid to be pumped.
- the upper part has at least one retaining arm, which extends on the outside along the central part and is releasably connectable to the lower part.
- a plurality of holding arms are used, which in particular special above the middle part on carrying handles are integrally connected to each other, because this gives the upper part a particularly high stability.
- the housing is configured substantially triangular in plan view.
- the middle part can accommodate the usually cylindrical motor which is surrounded by the pressure chamber, and wherein in the corner regions of the housing functional elements of the submersible pump can be arranged, for example flow channels, venting channels and / or level sensors.

- the upper part of the substantially triangular-shaped housing in the plan view preferably forms three retaining arms which each extend in a corner region of the housing along the central part and are releasably connectable to the lower part, for example, can be screwed to the lower part.
- the support arms each run in a corner region of the housing, which thus receives a particularly high load capacity and shock resistance.
- the upper part forms a substantially triangular support ring in plan view, with three carrying handles which each connect two holding arms to one another.
- the carrying handles can be arranged at a distance to the central part and, for example, be designed as supporting beams, which can be encompassed by the user in a simple manner.
- the lower part has a plurality of distributed over the circumference of the housing arranged feet for setting up the housing on a standing surface.
- a base is arranged in a corner region of the housing. This allows a three-point support of the submersible pump, which thus receives a particularly high stability.
- the lower part can have recesses for sucking the liquid. It is advantageous if the feet are height adjustable, because this gives the opportunity to operate the submersible pump in different modes.
- the feet may be made relatively short, so that the distance between a suction opening arranged on the underside of the housing and the base is small.
- the distance may be, for example, less than 2 mm, preferably about 1 mm, in the first mode of operation.
- the base can be sucked dry wipe, that is, the base can be sucked so far that only a thin liquid film remains.
- the distance between the intake opening arranged on the underside and the base can be selected to be relatively large. This has the advantage that the flow resistance for sucking the liquid can be very low, so that the submersible pump has a high delivery capacity.
- the increased distance may be, for example, about 3 mm to about 8 mm.
- the feet have in each case a foot part which is pivotably mounted between a swung-out, the distance between the base and the suction opening position and a pivoted, the distance between the base surface and suction reducing position.
