Abstract

La présente invention concerne un procédé de traitement de l'incontinence urinaire chez la femme comprenant la fourniture d'un instrument chirurgical comportant une aiguille, l'aiguille comprenant une extrémité de connexion et une extrémité libre, cette dernière ayant une partie courbée. La poignée reçoit l'extrémité de connexion de l'aiguille de telle sorte que l'aiguille est couplée à la poignée au niveau de l'extrémité de connexion. L'invention concerne un implant comportant une partie de fixation formée sur au moins une extrémité et l'aiguille est introduite par une incision pratiquée dans une paroi vaginale antérieure de sorte que l'extrémité libre de l'aiguille est proche d'un ramus ischio-pubien. La poignée est tournée de telle sorte que la partie courbée passe par un trou obturateur et est exposée à l'incision. Une extrémité de l'implant est fixée à l'extrémité libre de l'aiguille et la poignée est tournée de telle sorte que l'implant est rétracté avec l'extrémité libre de l'aiguille et tiré dans le trou obturateur.
