Description

[DESCRIPTION]
[invention Title]
DISPENSING APPARATUS AND LIQUID DISPENSING CONTAINER HAVING THE SAME [Technical Field]
The present invention relates, in general, to a dispensing apparatus for controlling the flow of a liquid substance and a liquid dispensing container having the dispensing apparatus .
More particularly, the present invention relates to a dispensing apparatus including a locking unit, which is constructed so that a partition plate having a path is integrally installed in the locking unit and first and second coupling parts having a predetermined difference in diameter are provided on the outer portion of the locking unit, and including a valve seat which is secured to the partition plate and opens or closes the path, and including a casing which is secured to the second coupling part in such a way as to play by a predetermined distance and which is installed to bring the valve seat into close contact with the partition plate, thus closing or opening the path.
Further, the present invention relates to a liquid dispensing container, which is constructed so that liquid lipstick is exposed outside through a brush supported by the casing when the dispensing apparatus is coupled to a storage container, and which is constructed so that the exposure of the lipstick is completely prevented when a locking cap is mounted to the locking unit . [Background Art]
Generally, lipstick is used to protect and beautify women's lips. Such lipstick is made solid for convenient use.
The lipstick may be applied to the user' s lips though a direct application method. Further, the lipstick may be indirectly applied to the user's lips using a lipbrush or the like.
Further, in order to prevent impurities, such as dust, from adhering to the lipstick, the lipstick is stored in a casing. The casing includes a lower casing part to which a screw-type rotary member, which moves upwards when the casing is rotated, is coupled, and an upper casing part which covers the lipstick when the upper casing part is coupled to the lower casing part.
However, such lipstick is problematic in that it is solid, so that the casing for . storing the solid lipstick has a complicated structure and cannot hold a gel-type or a liquid- type lipstick. In order to solve these problems, tube-type lipstick was disclosed in Korean U.M. Registration No. 372850. As shown in FIG. 1, the tube-type lipstick includes a hollow tube 10 filled with liquid cosmetic material. A nozzle 14 is formed in one end of the tube 10, and a nozzle tip 16 extends from the tube 10. Further, a stopper 20 is integrally fitted to an undercut part of the other end of the tube 10. The nozzle tip 16 is covered with a sponge tip 30.
The conventional tube-type lipstick is operated as follows. That is, when a user presses the tube 10, the nozzle 14 is expanded by the pressure, thus the liquid lipstick is discharged from the tube 10. The discharged liquid lipstick is absorbed by the sponge tip 30, so that a predetermined amount of lipstick is applied to the user's lips. However, the conventional tube-type lipstick is constructed so that the tube 10 is soft and can be pressed by a user. Thus, the conventional tube-type lipstick is problematic in that, when it is stored in a bag or the like and contacts other objects in the bag, the liquid lipstick is easily discharged from the tube due to pressure from other objects acting on the lipstick, thus leading to undesirable waste of the lipstick and soiling objects around the lipstick.
Further, the conventional tube-type lipstick is problematic in that it is difficult to refill the liquid lipstick, so that it is impossible to reuse the lipstick. This wastes resources. Further, when the liquid lipstick is exposed to air, it readily solidifies.
Moreover, the nozzle tip 16 is covered with the sponge tip 30, so that the lipstick has a fixed shape. Thus, the conventional tube-type lipstick is problematic in that the shape thereof may not be changed to satisfy consumers' various tastes. [Disclosure] [Technical Problem] Accordingly, the present invention has been made keeping in mind the above problems occurring in the prior art, and an object of the present invention is to provide a dispensing apparatus and a liquid dispensing container having the dispensing apparatus, which may be manufactured to have a simple construction, thus reducing the number of parts and simplifying the assembly process, therefore reducing the manufacturing cost, and which allow a valve to be rapidly and precisely opened and closed, thus preventing contamination due to the discharge of liquid lipstick. Another object of the present invention is to provide a dispensing apparatus and a liquid dispensing container having the dispensing apparatus which prevent the inflow of external air, thus preventing a liquid lipstick from deteriorating solidifying, and which allow the liquid lipstick to be rapidly discharged by pressing a tube, and which allow a tip to be variously changed according to the user's tastes. [Technical Solution]
In order to accomplish the objects, the present invention provides a dispensing apparatus including a locking unit which has a barrel-shaped body, a partition plate installed in the body and having a predetermined path, first and second coupling parts provided on an upper portion of the locking unit and having a predetermined difference in diameter, and a locking part for coupling a storage container to a lower portion of the locking unit, and including a valve seat which is secured to the partition plate to open or close the path, and including a casing which is coupled to the second coupling part in such a way as to play by a predetermined distance and brings the valve seat into close contact with the partition plate . Further, the present invention provides a liquid dispensing container having a dispensing apparatus which includes a locking unit, a valve seat, a casing, a locking cap, and a storage container. The locking unit includes a barrel- shaped body, a partition plate integrally installed in the body and having a predetermined path, first and second coupling parts provided on an upper portion of the locking unit and having a predetermined difference in diameter, and a locking part for coupling the storage container to a lower portion of the locking unit. The valve seat is secured to the partition plate to open or close the path. The casing is coupled to the second coupling part in such a way as to play by a predetermined distance, .and brings the valve seat into close contact with the partition plate. The locking cap is locked to the casing when the locking cap is in close contact with the first coupling part, and defines a predetermined space when the locking cap is coupled to the casing. The storage container is installed to define a compression space which is sealed when the storage container is coupled to the locking cap.

A backflow prevention means 530 is provided on an upper portion of the storage container 300, and a pump 510 is connected to the storage container 300 via the backflow prevention means 530. The backflow prevention means 530 and the pump 510 are housed in the casing 110. Further, the backflow prevention means 530 includes a check valve 533 and a support plate 531 installed above the check valve 533.
The structure of a general button-type pumping means may be applied to the storage container of the invention.
FIG. 15b is a sectional view showing important parts of a dispensing container having a dispensing apparatus, according to an embodiment of this invention. The liquid dispensing container of this invention is installed such that a liquid lipstick is moved upwards by vacuum pressure of a pump, without installing an additional piston 350 in a storage container 300 having a predetermined shape.
The operation of this invention, constructed as described above, will be described below. As shown in FIGS. 2a and 2b, the dispensing apparatus 100 according to the first embodiment of this invention is assembled as follows. That is, after the valve seat 150 is secured to the path 177a defined in the locking unit 170, the press member 130 and the casing 110 are sequentially coupled to the locking unit 170.
In this case, when the casing 110 is coupled to the locking unit 170 via the guide groove 117 formed on the inner circumference of the casing 110, the locking step 171a moves along the guide groove 117 having a predetermined width. Thereby, the casing 110 is movable relative to the locking unit 170.
Further, when the casing 110 is assembled with the locking unit 170, the press member 130 inserted into the casing 110 is in close contact with the upper end of the valve seat 150 secured to the locking unit 170.
Further, the valve seat 150 is made of a soft plastic material, and the sealing disc 151, provided on the upper end of the valve seat 150, has an area which is capable of completely covering the path Ilia. When the valve seat 150 is elastically coupled to the locking unit 170 via the hook 153 provided on the bottom of the valve seat 150, the sealing disc 151 prevents the valve seat 150 from becoming dislodged from the partition plate 177.
Moreover, as shown in FIGS. 4a and 4b, the press plate 119, which defines the recess around the inner circumference of the casing 110 so as to receive the second coupling part 171, is integrally provided in the casing 110, so that an additional press member 130 is not required, and thus the manufacturing and assembly processes are simplified. The operation of the dispensing container having the dispensing apparatus 100, constructed as described above, is as follows. As shown in FIGS. 4a, 4b, and 5, the dispensing apparatus 100 is coupled to the inlet 310 of the storage container 300 having the threaded part or the protruding step which corresponds to the threaded part or the protruding step provided on the inner circumference of the locking unit 170.
At this time, the storage container 300 is filled with a predetermined amount of liquid lipstick.
Further, the valve seat 150 and the casing 110, which are constructed as described above, are previously assembled with the locking unit 170. Next, the locking unit 170 is covered with the locking cap 200. Thereby, the assembly is completed.
In this case, the locking unit 170 and the locking cap 200 are assembled as follows. That is, the stopper 213 protruding inwards from the locking cap 200 engages with the guide step
115 provided on the outer circumference of the casing 110, and thereafter the casing 110 is moved downwards. The casing 110 is moved further downwards to bring the lower surface of the casing 110 into close contact with the upper surface of the second coupling part 171 of the locking unit 170.
In this case, the locking protrusion 173a provided on the first coupling part 173 of "••the locking unit 170 is elastically supported by the locking hole 215 formed in the locking cap 200. Thereby, the locking cap 200 is locked to the locking unit 170. Further, when the casing 110 is moved downwards, the bottom of the brush 410 installed in the casing 110 presses the valve seat 150 against the partition plate 177, thus preventing leakage of the liquid lipstick.
Further, when the locking cap 200 is coupled to the locking unit 170, the support boss 217 protruding in the locking cap 200 presses the tapered surface of the casing 110, thus preventing the valve seat 150 from having a poor seal when the stopper 213 passes over the locking protrusion 173a.
Further, when the locking cap 200 is separated from the locking unit 170, the stopper 213 of the locking cap 200, brought into close contact with the guide surface 113, moves the casing 110 upwards .
At this time, the press member 130 or the press plate 119, which is located in the casing 110 to support the brush 410, moves upwards. Through this movement, a predetermined gap is defined between the press member 130 or the press plate 119 and the valve seat 150.
Subsequently, when a user presses the storage container 300, which is made of soft material, the liquid lipstick contained in the storage container 300 moves up the valve seat 150, which is in close contact with the path Ilia. The liquid lipstick flows upwards, so that the brush 410 is moistened with the liquid lipstick, thus allowing a. user to easily apply the lipstick to her lips. Meanwhile, as shown in FIGS. 6a through 9, according to this invention, the additional actuator unit 190 is elastically coupled to the press plate 119, which has been described above. The flow pipe 193 may be further provided on the actuator body 191 of the actuator unit 190 so as to easily feed liquid to the brush 410. Each of the dispensing apparatuses 100 shown in FIGS. 6a, 6b, 8a, and 8b is the same as the above-mentioned dispensing apparatus except that the dispensing apparatus 100 further has the mounting hole on the inner circumference of the press plate 119, and the actuator unit 190 is elastically coupled to the mounting hole.
Further, the actuator unit 190 has the upper plate and the support boss. Alternatively, the actuator unit 190 may have the flow pipe 193 on the upper plate. The actuator units may be variously embodied according to the condition of use.
The casing 110 to which the actuator unit 190 is mounted is capable of easily pressing the valve seat 150 against the path Ilia. Further, by the movement of the casing 110, it is possible to precisely control the valve seat 150. The liquid lipstick passing through the valve seat 150 is easily fed to the brush 410 via the through hole 191b and the flow holes 191a. In this case, the flow pipe 193 protruding from the actuator unit 190 rapidly transfers liquid to the end of the brush 410, so that it is convenient to use. As shown in FIGS. 14a and 14b, in place of the brush 410 comprising many bristles, various application members 430 may be used. Each application member 430 has on one end thereof the tapered part, and has on a bottom thereof the support plate. The adsorption member 430a is attached to the tapered part. Further, in place of the brush 410 comprising many bristles, the application member 430, 450 may be installed. The path of the application member 430, 450 is opened by a predetermined pressure. The application member 430, 450 is made of a soft material, with the support plate provided on the bottom of the application member.
The application member 430 is constructed so that the tapered part is provided on an end of the application member 430, and the adsorption member 430a is attached to a surface of the tapered part. The application member 430 allows easy application of the proper amount of lipstick to the lips .
Further, the application member 450 is shaped to have a predetermined contact force so that the application member 450 is expanded by the pressure acting on the storage container 300. Thus, by pressing the storage container 300, a proper amount of lipstick is discharged and applied to the lips.
As shown in FIG. 14c, when liquid passing through the valve seat 150 is stored in the storage chamber 112 and pressure acts on the storage chamber 112, the casing 110 communicates with the exterior through the plurality of liquid discharge holes 114a formed in the upper portion of the storage chamber 112.
As such, the application surface 114 having the liquid discharge holes 114a is provided on the upper portion of the casing 110. Thus, when the storage container 300 is pressed, the liquid passes through the valve seat 150, and thereafter is stored in the storage chamber 112. When pressure acts on the storage chamber 112, the liquid is discharged through the liquid discharge holes 114a of the application surface 114, so that a user can apply the lipstick to the lips . Meanwhile, as shown in FIGS. 15a and 15b, the storage container 300 is made of a hard material, and the piston 350 is installed in the storage container 300. By pressing the casing
110 which is made of a soft material, the pump 510 is operated.
At this time, the liquid flows upwards due to the pressure of the pump, and the piston 350 installed in the storage container 300 moves upwards, so that a predetermined amount of liquid is discharged.
Further, the backflow prevention means 530 is mounted to the bottom of the pump 510, thus preventing the upward flowing liquid from flowing back into the storage container 300 when the pump 510 is compressed.
Such a construction allows the liquid lipstick to be easily discharged by pressing the side of the casing 110 without the necessity to press the storage container 300. Moreover, the liquid may naturally flow upwards due to vacuum pressure of the pump 510, even though the piston 350 is not mounted.
Meanwhile, each dispensing apparatus shown in FIGS. 10a,
10b, 11a, and lib is constructed so that, when the casing 110, elastically coupled to the locking unit 170 moves upwards or downwards, the path 177a defined in the partition plate 177 of the locking unit 170 is shielded by the additional shield sheet. Thus, when the storage container 300 is compressed, the shield sheet controls the flow of the lipstick, contained in the storage container, along the casing 110.
In this case, the shield sheet may have various shapes, according to the application field. The invention may use the casing 110 having the press plate 119 or the casing 110 having the press member 130. In the casing 110 having the press plate 119, the separation-type first shield sheet 119-2 or the integrated-type second shield sheet 119-3 may be applied to the casing 110.
Meanwhile, in the case of the casing 110 having the press member 130, the separation-type first press sheet 133-1 or the integrated-type second press sheet 133-2 may be mounted to the casing 110. The hemispherical protrusion of the sheet 119-2, 119-3, 133-1, 133-2 applied to the press plate or the press member closes the path 177a defined in the partition plate 177, when the casing 110 moves downwards. As shown in FIGS. 12a and 12b, when the actuator unit 190 is applied to the invention, no additional valve seat is required, and the first sealing protrusion 177c or the second sealing protrusion 177b is installed. The tapered first sealing protrusion 177c is integrally provided on the upper end of the center of the partition plate 177. The first sealing protrusion extends to a predetermined position, thus forming the second sealing protrusion 177b. Thereby, the upper end of the second sealing protrusion 177b closes a hole defined in the flow pipe 193. The first sealing protrusion 177c or the second sealing protrusion 177a seals the path 177a defined in the partition plate 177 when the casing 110 moves downwards.
Meanwhile, the dispensing container of FIG. 13 includes the actuator unit 190 and the valve seat 150. The second sealing protrusion is integrally provided on the valve seat 150. Thus, when the casing 110 moves downwards, the second sealing protrusion closes a hole defined in the flow pipe 193.
When the locking unit 170 is thus mounted, the actuator unit 190 closes the path 177a without using the valve seat 150, thus serving as a valve. Further, as shown in FIG. 3, when only the brush 410 is installed in the casing 100, the bottom of the brush 410 closes the path 177a without using the additional actuator unit 190, so that the brush 410 serves as the valve.
Moreover, even when the actuator unit 190 is provided in the brush 410 as shown in FIG. 9, it is operated in the same manner as described above. Meanwhile, when the casing 100 itself serves as the application member without the additional brush, as shown in FIG. 14, the valve is opened or closed by the actuator unit 190. Thereby, it is possible to apply the lipstick to the lips. As described above, the valve is installed in the casing without the additional brush. Alternatively, the valve is installed under the brush 410 which is mounted in the casing.
According to the present invention, by pressing the storage container 300 or the casing 110, a proper amount of liquid lipstick is discharged, so that it is easy to use. Further, the locking cap 200 is assembled with the locking unit 170 to which the casing 110 is locked, thus completely preventing the leakage of the lipstick. [industrial Applicability]
As described above, the present invention provides a dispensing apparatus and a liquid dispensing container having the dispensing apparatus, which may be manufactured to have a simple construction, thus reducing the number of parts and simplifying the assembly process, therefore reducing the manufacturing cost, and which allow a valve to be rapidly and precisely opened and closed, thus preventing contamination due to the discharge of liquid lipstick. The present invention prevents a liquid lipstick from deteriorating solidifying even when the liquid lipstick is stored for a lengthy period of time, and allows the liquid lipstick to be rapidly discharged by pressing a tube, and allows a tip to be variously changed according to the user's tastes.
