Description

ELEMENT D'IMMOBILISATION D'UNE STRUCTURE MAILLEE FAISANT OFFICE DE PROTHESE. IMMUNIZATION ELEMENT OF A MESH STRUCTURE PROVIDING PROSTHESIS.
The invention relates to the technical field of plates in the form of a mesh structure of prosthetic material.
This type of prosthesis made for example from a knit or fabric prosthetic material, is well known to those skilled in the art. As an indication, in no way limiting, these prostheses can be used for the inguinal region and intended for the repair of inguinal hernias laparoscopically or openly. More particularly, the invention relates to the fixation of prosthetic plates at the part of the anatomy considered with a view notably to immobilizing them.
Various technical solutions have been proposed to obtain this result. For example, a suture may be used. This solution however requires the operator a great dexterity. Also known are mechanical suture elements in the form of a pin having a head with a spiral-shaped rod. Generally, these fasteners are made of a resorbable material.
Also known plastic staples having a substantially I-shaped cross section. Given the nature of the material used, problems can sometimes occur at the fixation when the prosthetic element must be fixed in anatomical parts that have a certain hardness.
The object of the invention is to remedy these disadvantages in a simple, safe, efficient and rational manner. The problem to be solved by the invention is to allow the fixation of the prosthetic plate while waiting for the rehabilitation of the prosthetic anatomical parts, without requiring great dexterity, by simply exerting a support force at the level of the fixation zones considered. while aiming to reduce manufacturing costs.
Pour résoudre un tel problème, il a été conçu un élément d'immobilisation d'une structure maillée faisant office de prothèse, qui est réalisé à partir d'un fil préformé pour : - constituer au moins une spire à l'état repos, c'est-à-dire sans aucune sollicitation ;To solve such a problem, it has been designed an immobilizing element of a mesh structure acting as a prosthesis, which is made from a preformed wire to: - constitute at least one turn at rest, c that is to say without any solicitation;
- être développé linéairement après introduction dans un tube ;- be developed linearly after introduction into a tube;
- reprendre sa forme initiale à la sortie du tube.- return to its original shape at the exit of the tube.
In a preferred embodiment, the wire is made of a shape memory material.
To solve the problem of facilitating the impaction of the immobilizing element of the anatomical part considered, at least one end of the wire is sharpened.
From this basic design, to solve the problem of placing the immobilizing element according to the features of the invention, through the meshed prosthetic plate, several son are arranged in alignment in the tube which has means capable of ensuring the extraction of a wire outside said tube at the time of its impaction in the mesh structure. In another embodiment, a wire having a plurality of turns is introduced into the tube which has means capable of ensuring its overflow outside said tube for the purpose of impaction and means for cutting said wire to a length determined after impaction.
L'invention est exposée ci-après plus en détail à l'aide des figures des dessins annexés dans lesquels :The invention is described below in more detail with reference to the figures of the accompanying drawings, in which:
- la figure 1 est un exemple de réalisation de l'élément d'immobilisation selon l'invention ; - la figure 2 montre l'élément d'immobilisation obtenu à partir d'un fil présentant une pluralité de spires, et disposés linéairement à l'intérieur d'un tube pour la mise en place desdits éléments ;FIG. 1 is an exemplary embodiment of the immobilization element according to the invention; - Figure 2 shows the immobilizing element obtained from a wire having a plurality of turns, and arranged linearly inside a tube for the establishment of said elements;
- la figure 3 est une vue en perspective à caractère schématique montrant la fixation d'une plaque prothétique au moyen des éléments selon l'invention ;FIG. 3 is a schematic perspective view showing the attachment of a prosthetic plate by means of the elements according to the invention;
Le problème posé est d'assurer l'immobilisation de la plaque prothétique (1) dans l'épaisseur de la partie anatomique considérée (2).As indicated, the invention finds a particularly advantageous application for the immobilization of a prosthetic plate (1) made from a mesh structure. The prosthetic plate (1) can be obtained by any known and appropriate means, be made of different materials and have different embodiments depending on the nature of the anatomical parts to repair and / or strengthen. This type of prosthesis is well known to a person skilled in the art, and does not form part of the specific object of the invention. The problem is to ensure the immobilization of the prosthetic plate (1) in the thickness of the anatomical part considered (2).
According to a characteristic underlying the invention, the immobilizing element is made from a wire (3) shaped to form at least one turn (3a) in the rest state, that is to say say without any solicitation. The wire (3) is made of a selected material to be developed linearly after introduction into a tube (4) to resume its original shape at the exit of the tube, that is to say present one or more turns (Figure 2) . To obtain this result, the wire (3) is advantageously made in a shape memory material.
The bore (4a) of the tube (4) is determined so that after introduction of the wire (3), the or turns is (s) in the stretched state so as to be deployed (s) linearly.
From this basic design, several embodiments can be envisaged.
For example, several wires (3) constituting at least one turn (3a), are arranged in alignment (in the deployed state) in the tube (4) which has means capable of ensuring the thrust of a wire outside said tube at the time of its impaction in the mesh structure (1).
According to another embodiment, as diagrammatically illustrated in FIG. 2, the immobilizing element is in the form of a wire (3) having a plurality of turns (3a). This wire is introduced into the bore of the tube (4), so that the different turns are stretched linearly. In one ends, the tube (4) has means (5) adapted to ensure the thrust of the wire (3) outside said tube for impaction in the anatomical part through the meshes of the prosthetic plate (1). At the other end, the tube (2) may have cutting means (6) capable of cutting the wire (3) to a given length after impaction.
It is therefore sufficient to exert, by means of the tube (4) for example, a pushing force on the wire (3) to allow its impaction through the meshes of the prosthetic plate (1) in the thickness of the part corresponding anatomical (2). Concomitantly, at the release of the wire, there is formation of at least one turn resulting from the material constituting said wire. The formation of this turn which takes place in part of the thickness of the anatomical part (2) and through several meshes of the prosthetic plate (1), ensures a connection of said plate with respect to the anatomical part considered (Figures 3 and 4).
It may be noted, when the wire (3) is made of a shape memory material, that at least one of its ends can be sharpened to facilitate insertion.
Without departing from the scope of the invention, it is not excluded to make the wire (3) in another material capable of performing the same functions as a shape memory material.
Les avantages ressortent bien de la description. The advantages are apparent from the description.
