Description
LOWER BODY FIXING APPARATUS FOR COMBINED WHOLE BODY FINGER-PRESSING MASSAGE AND SPINAL
CORRECTION DEVICE
Technical Field
[1] The present invention relates to a lower body fixing apparatus for a combined whole body finger-pressing massage and spinal correction device, more particularly, to such a lower body fixing apparatus, which can fix the lower part (ankle, calf, pelvis, and the like) of user's body stably, in the combined whole body finger-pressing massage and spinal correction device, which is constructed to make a bed move slidingly to thereby pull and correct the spinal, lumbar vertebra and the lower body, and make a roller unit move slidingly to perform a finger-pressing massage for the special bodily part or the whole spine together with making the lower body rotate in the upward, downward, right and left directions selectively, so that the effect of finger pressing massage and spinal correction can be maximized. Background Art
[2] In general, the whole body finger-pressing massage, or the spinal correction is performed in an acupuncture center, an orthopedics, or a private sanatorium performing a massage professionally, and the like.
[3] Such medical therapy is now performed by means of methods based on the traditional oriental medicine using the well known acupuncture, and moxa- cautery, or physical therapy using the finger pressure massage, or physical treatment device, and the like.
[4] However, according to the physical therapy among the conventional treatment therapies as described above, it was difficult to accomplish the substantial treatment effect, and there was a limitation to apply to the patients of diverse symptoms re- placeably because the functions of the conventional physical treatment device are seriously restricted.
[5] Furthermore, while the conventional combined whole body finger-pressing massage and spinal correction device was constructed of a movable frame capable of performing the angular movement on the basis of a hinge on the upper of a fixing frame, a slide frame with a roller unit capable of performing the rotation movement and the slide movement selectively on the movable frame, and a foot plate lifting device mounted at the lower of the movable frame and whose lifting could be controlled, so that it is possible to accomplish the effects of finger pressure and physical treatment of the respective portion of the human body, there were problems
that the structure was complex and the lower part of body (i.e., the lower body) could be adjusted only in the forward and backward directions, and could not be adjusted separately in the forward, backward, right and left directions, with regard to the angle control or rotation, and the like. Accordingly, to solve such problems, the present inventor has suggested and registered a utility model about a combined whole body finger-pressuring massage and spinal correction device as Korean utility model registration No. 302605.
[6] According to the prior registered spinal correction device, it was possible to increase the spinal pulling effect by constructing the bed supporting the head, the back, and the hip of the laid person be capable of controlled slidingly in the forward and backward directions, and it was possible to maximize the correction effect of the body with stimulating several articulations and ligaments of the spine and the lower body smoothly to loosen them by providing means for allowing the foot plate for securing the feet of the user move slidingly or rotate in the upward and downward, right and left, and forward and backward directions separately or concurrently, and providing means capable of performing a roller massage about the spinal portion wholly or locally to thereby performing the correction of the spine and the lower body at last.
[7] However, with regard to the conventional combined whole body finger-pressing massage and spinal correction device, it was impossible to adjust the length thereof based on the stature of the user, there could be caused a knee injury due to the excessive impact about the knee articulation when the twist movement in the right and left directions was performed with supporting the lower body by means of an ankle supporting member, the pulling force could be applied to the ankle intensively because the pulling of the spine was performed with only catching the ankle, and there was a problem that it was difficult for peoples of weak pelvis to use it. As a result, it was urgently required to develop an apparatus capable of solving such problems. Disclosure of Invention Technical Problem
[8] Therefore, the present invention has been made to provide a novel structured lower body fixing apparatus for a combined whole body finger-pressing massage and spinal correction device, to solve the problems occurring in the conventional prior combined whole body finger-pressing massage and spinal correction device of the present inventor as described above, and the object of the present invention is to provide a lower body fixing apparatus for a combined whole body finger-pressing massage and spinal correction device, which has several advantages such as minimizing the pain of the ankle with dispersing the pulling force concentrated on the ankle by supporting and concurrently holding the calf portion below the knee widely, departing from a method
of holding the ankle only at the time of pulling the spine, especially, and minimizing the impact applied to the knee articulation by allowing a supporting plate of the calf positioned at the rear side of the knee to be moved to a predetermined degree to thereby be adjusted to a desired degree, and the like. Technical Solution

[43]
Mode for the Invention [44] Hereinafter, the present invention will be explained in detail with reference to the appended drawings below. [45] FlG. 1 is a front view showing a preferred embodiment of the present invention,
and FlG. 2 is a perspective view showing a foot plate in the present invention.
[46] Referring now to FlGs. 1 and 2, the present invention is devised to improve a foot plate 9 in a combined whole body finger-pressing massage and spinal correction device 1 disclosed in prior registered Korea utility model registration No. 363859 of the present inventor, which comprises a bed guide frame 5 mounted to perform angular movement on the basis of a shaft pin 4 above a support frame 3 formed integrally on a base frame 2 constituting the combined whole body finger-pressing massage and spinal correction device 1, a bed 6 disposed to move slidingly in the upward and downward directions on the bed guide frame 5, a roller unit 8 with a massage roller 7 reciprocating on the bed 6 to move in the longitudinal direction of a spine or to perform massage at the specified position of the spine, and a foot plate 9 constructed to rotate, lift, or move slidingly in the upward and downward, right and left, and forward and backward directions separately or concurrently to secure feet of the user at one side of the bed 6 and to perform the movement of the body shape and the lower body.
[47] In this regard, a motor 10 is mounted on the bed guide frame 5 with a cylindrical rotation shaft of the motor 10 being constructed as a lead screw 11, and a transporting device 12 screw-engaged with the lead screw 11 is secured to a slide shaft 14, which is slidingly supported axially on a casing 13 by means of a bearing 14a, so that the slide shaft 14 can be operated slidingly in the forward and backward directions according to the rotation of the motor 10 in the forward and reverse directions.
[48] Also, a calf supporting plate-holder 16 is secured to one end of the slide shaft 14 to support the rear portion of the calf by using a holder 15, and a calf supporting plate 17 is mounted to the calf supporting plate-holder 16 by using an axial pin 18 so that the angle thereof can be controlled. The other side of the calf supporting plate 17 is elastically secured to a spring 19 by using a control bolt 20. The control bolt 20 can be used separately without using the spring 19.
[49] The ankle fixation member 22, which is connected to the calf supporting plate 17 by means of a connecting rod 21, holds the ankle of the user, and it is constructed that an ankle fixation lever 28 can perform angular movement in the forward and backward directions according to the rotation of the motor 23 in the forward and reverse directions by connecting the transporting device 25, which is screw-engaged with the lead screw formed at the cylindrical rotation shaft of the motor 23 so that it can secure or loosen the ankle according to the driving in the forward and reverse direction, to the ankle fixation lever 28, which is supported axially to the casing 26 by means of the axial pin 27, so that it can move angularly. Furthermore, an elastic clamp 29 made of synthetic resin foam, and the like with cushion is mounted at the upper end of the ankle fixation lever 28.
[50] In addition, FlGs. 6, 7 show that the elastic clamp 29 holding the ankle, and the calf
supporting plate 17 for supporting the back portion of the calf in the present invention, are constructed of an air chamber, which is expanded by the air injection.
[51] In the present invention, an injection tube 30 and an injection valve 31 for injecting air into the elastic clamp 29, which is formed into long boots shape, are mounted at one side of the calf supporting plate 17 and the elastic clamp 29, so that one side of the air chamber can be opened by means of a slide fastener 29b, and it is preferable that the injection valve 31 is constructed of an electronic valve, which can be closed and opened by the application of the electric signal.
[52] Furthermore, it is preferable to mount a plurality of binding belts 29a (in the drawing, three pieces are shown) for holding the outer portion of the elastic clamp, when the air is injected into the elastic clamp 29 through the injection tube 30 to thereby expand the elastic clamp, which is formed into long boots shape.
[53] Then, as shown in FIGs. 8 and 9, it is preferable that the pelvis pulling belt 32 is selectively mounted to the ankle fixation member 22 of the present invention, so that it can be used to the patient with pains at the hip due to the excessive pulling force.
[54] In this regard, a connection rod 34 is mounted at one side of the casing 26 of the ankle fixation member 22 for connecting the hip pulling string 33 to one end thereof, and the other side of the hip pulling string 33 is connected to a waist belt 36 for binding the waist of the user by using detachment means 35 such as a velcro, and the like.
[55] As shown in FIG. 10, the hip pulling string 33 can be connected to an end of the axial pin 18 in the calf supporting plate-holder 16 on which the calf supporting plate 17 is mounted, if required.
[56] Furthermore, the calf supporting plate 17 is constructed to be controlled angularly to a little width on the calf supporting plate-holder 16 lest the knee articulation should not be bent in the right and left directions, because the calf supporting plate 17 can be damaged due to the burden applied to the knee articulation, when the lower body of the user is to be moved to the right and left in the plane.
[57] In this regard, as shown in FIGs. 11 and 12, a connection bracket 37, whose angle can be controlled to the upward and downward directions, is mounted on the axial pin 18 mounted on the calf supporting plate-holder 16, and the axial pin 38, which is formed on the lower portion of the calf supporting plate 17, is mounted to the connection bracket 37, so that the angle of the calf supporting plate 17 can be controlled to a little width to the right and left directions in the plane.
[58] Meanwhile, referring now to FIGs. 13 through 16, it is constructed that an elastic clamp 29 is not employed to the ankle fixation member 22 of the present invention, and an ankle fixation belt 39 can be used to it. Also, with regard to detachment means 40 for the ankle fixation belt 39, diverse detachment means such as a velcro, an one-
touch hook, and the like can be used.
[59] Then, referring to FlGs. 17 and 18, the calf supporting plate 17 and the elastic clamp 29 for holding the ankle are constructed as a split type in the ankle fixation member 22 of the present invention, so that they can enclose the calf portion and the ankle, and they are connected on the axial pin 18 and the ankle fixation lever 28 by using the connection rod 41 with elasticity such as rubber material.
[60] According to such a combined whole body finger-pressing massage and pinal correction device 1 of the present invention as constructed above, it is possible to hold the lower body stably in the spinal correction device 1, which has been registered as utility model by the present inventor previously, to thereby increase the effects of finger pressure massage and spinal correction substantially, and improve the conveniences of user greatly.
[61] Hereinafter, the action of the present invention will be described in detail below.
[62] When the bed 6 is rotated on the basis of the axial pin 4 formed on the upper side of the supporter frame 3 by using an operation panel on a control box, so that the head of user is turned to the lower direction, after securing the foot of the user on the footplate 9, and then supporting and securing the upper part of body (i.e., the upper body) on the upper surface of the bed 6, the bed 6 is moved slidingly on the bed guide frame 5 to the lower direction by means of the gravitational force, to loosen the spine to thereby accomplish the spinal correction.
[63] Thus, in the combined whole body finger-pressing massage and spinal correction device 1 of the present invention, it is possible to adjust electrically the foot plate 9 to the forward and backward directions based on the stature of the user to provide the re- placeability.
[64] In other words, when the motor 10 mounted on the bed 6 is selectively driven to the forward and reverse directions, the lead screw 11 can be selectively rotated in the forward and reverse directions to thereby produce the whole movement in the forward and reverse directions slidingly, because the transporting device 12 screw-engaged with the lead screw 11 is secured on the slide shaft 14, which is supported axially to the casing 13 slidingly by means of a bearing 14a, so that the whole foot plate 9 can move slidingly in the forward and reverse directions and adjust the length to accomplish the adjustment of the length based on the stature of the user.
[65] In addition, when the ankle of the user is secured to the foot plate 9, the present invention can minimize the application of excessive burden on the ankle at the time of pulling the spine with securing the ankle only because the calf supporting plate 17 can support the back portion of the user's calf. In other words, as shown in FlG. 5, when the knee is bent a little after make the calf portion between the ankle and the spine be close contact with the calf supporting plate 17, the pulling force suppressing the ankle
at the time of the pulling operation of the spine, can be dispersed on the calf portion to thereby minimize the suppression applied on the ankle.
[66] Furthermore, it is possible to minimize the impact applied to the knee articulation because it can be moved in the forward and backward directions of the body to a little width at the time of initial clamping of the ankle to the elastic clamp 29 as well as at the pulling operation of the spine, by constructing the calf supporting plate 17 such that one side thereof is controlled angularly on the holder 15 by means of the axial pin 18, and connecting the other end thereof to the holder 15 by means of the spring 19, the tension of which can be controlled by means of a control bolt 20. As for ththe elastic clamp 29, an ankle fixationbelt 39, which can be clamped or undamped by means of the detachment means 40 according to the requirements, can be used.
[67] Also, the ankle fixation member 22 constituting the foot plate 9 of the present invention can secure and separate the ankle easily by the driving of the motor 23 in the forward and reverse directions at the time of the clamping of the ankle. That is, when the motor 23 is selectively driven in the forward and reverse directions, the lead screw 24 is selectively driven in the forward and reverse directions to make the transporting device 25 screw-engaged with the lead screw 11 move slidingly in the forward and backward directions, so that the ankle fixation lever 28, which is connected to the axial pin 27 such that it can be controlled angularly, is moved angularly in the forward and reverse directions to thereby perform the clamping or unclamping of the elastic clamp 29, which is made of elastic foam, mounted on the ankle fixation lever 28.
[68] As shown in FIGs, 6 and 7, when the elastic clamp 29 and the calf supporting plate
17 are constructed as an air chamber of long boots shape, it is possible to minimize the suppression, impact, and the like of the ankle and the calf portion close contacting with the elastic clamp 29 and the calf supporting plate 17 by means of the elasticity of the air itself, as if the user put on the long boots on the leg, by injecting the air rapidly through the injection tube 30, after inducing the leg of the user between the elastic clamp 29 with opening the sliding fastener 29b, closing the sliding fastener 29b, binding a plurality of binding belt 29a around the elastic clamp 29 from the outside, and opening the injection valve 31.
[69] Also, in the present invention, the pelvis pulling belt 32 is connected to the connection rod 34 at one side of the casing 26 of the ankle fixationmember 22 and to the hip pulling string 33, or it is mounted to the calf supporting plate-holder 16 mounting the calf supporting plate 17 to thereby secure the ankle, and then the waist belt 36 is bound to the waist of the user by using the detachment means 35, so that it can be used properly to the patient with pains in the hip due to the excessive pulling force at the time of pulling the spine.
[70] Furthermore, an connection bracket 37, whose angle can be controlled in the
upward and downward directions, is mounted to the axial pin 18 mounted on the calf supporting plate-holder 16 so that the angle of the calf supporting plate 17 can be controlled to a little width in the right and left directions in the plane, and an axial pin 38 formed at the lower portion of the calf supporting plate 17 is mounted axially to the connection bracket 37, so that it is possible to prevent the injury of the articulation by minimizing the load to be applied to the knee articulation when the lower body of the user is moved in the right and left directions in the plane. Industrial Applicability
[71] As described above, according to the lower body fixing apparatus for the combined whole body finger-pressing massage and spinal correction device of the present invention, it is possible to maximize the user's convenience because the ankle of the user can be automatically clamped and undamped, to adjust the length of the device based on the stature of the user, and to minimize the suppression applied to the ankle at the time of pulling the spine by making it to be controlled angularly together with the ankle fixation member and providing the cal supporting plate for supporting the calf portion.
[72] Also, it is possible to reduce the suppression applied to the ankle by replacing the elastic clamp for securing the ankle with an air chamber, if required, to reduce the pains applied to the pelvis of the user with weak pelvis portion at the time of pulling the spine, and to reduce the impact applied to the knee articulation at the time of moving in the right and left directions after securing the lower body, so that it is very efficient in correcting the spine and the lower body and it can be used safely.
[73] While the present invention has been described with reference to the preferred embodiments, the present invention is not limited by the embodiments. It is to be understood that those skilled in the art can change or modify the embodiments without departing from the scope and spirit of the present invention. However, such variations and modifications are all pertained to the scope of the present invention.
