Definitions
- TITLE Articulated, removable, reusable and adaptable device for frame framing and other laminar motifs.
- the molding is of the metal profile type
- the rear fastening is carried out with curved and elongated sheet metal parts that fit (yielding in curvature) between the protective backsheet and the profile itself, acting as simple tensioners; and, normally, it is not easy to access them once installed.
- the framing device described here largely eliminates these inconveniences and provides advantages that will be specified later.
- removable frames or improved frames may also exist on the market; but all of them, even being modular, are designed for a discrete set of measures (possibly standardized) of the tables or laminar motifs. They are not designed for a continuous set (up to a limit) of different measures; and, do not include the concept of flexible and adaptable framework; These characteristics will be detailed later in the explanation of the invention.
- the present invention relates to a device for framing pictures or laminar motifs; which, has been conceived in order to obtain notable advantages over other existing framing systems.
- Said device is specified in parts that are attached or fixed to the frame or laminar motif; and, of a reel that reels a tape; which may be subject to the aforementioned pieces.
- Both types of objects constitute the device of the invention; and, its placement, articulation and tensioning on the frame or laminar motif, forms the corresponding framework; Well, once installed, it meets the characteristics of the frames: Subject for exposure, protection and decoration of the painting or motif.
- the framing device that constitutes the object of the invention is formed by:
- the function of the PI parts is that of auxiliary support to the PP parts in the tension reinforcement and adaptation of the flexible belt that will form the profile of the frame. Approximately two pieces PI for each side may be needed for pictures or laminar motifs of 1 meter side; and none are needed, for frames or laminar motifs of about 35 CMS or less on the side.
- a reel that reels and picks up a flexible tape This reel has two equal cylindrical housings in which the spiral springs are installed that will allow the collection of the tape. - the sheet or laminar motif includes all the sheets, if any, of subsequent protection and previous decoration ("paspartout”) and transparent of protection (glass).
- the eight PP pieces are placed in pairs at the corners of the frame or laminar motif. On the one hand, these pieces have the 45 ° inclined edge in miter so that by arranging them two by two at each corner, each pair of PP pieces can form a right angle or the square of the frame. This arrangement implies that the pieces PP of each pair are symmetrical in relation to the axis constituted by the union of its sides at 45 ° in miter.
- one of the four pairs of PP pieces is different from the other three. This is the pair of PP parts for fixing and collecting the reel. On the other hand, the other three pairs of PP pieces are those for fixing and folding the tape.
- the body (c) has on its rear face a screw hole to be screwed, by the rear or back of the frame or laminar motif, to the joint piece with which it will be fixed to said laminar frame or motif and also to the other PP piece of the couple.
- the tape By clamping and thus tightening the tape, it is extended longitudinally on the slightly curved surface of the sheet and parallel to the line on each side of the frame or laminar motif.
- the width of the tape must be ideal so that once it is longitudinally clamped it is well extended.
- the installed frame will be the tape extended and tensioned on the PP and PI pieces; Y, folded and collected, (in a certain way, as I will explain later) in the PP pieces.
- the edge of the tongue next to the sheet (1) has the same curvature as said sheet, in order to favor the rotation without bumping the surface of the sheet.
- the dimensions, position of the tensioner and the direction of rotation of the tongue must be suitable for its function of tensioning the fold that we will carry out on the belt in each pair of PP pieces for fixing and folding the tape.
- connection piece (u) of the PP pieces has been drawn to the frame or motif and to each other. On the face that will rest on the body (c) of the PP pieces, it has two tension springs that end in a clamping shoe. It also has two threaded holes to be screwed to the two PP pieces of the corresponding pair.
- FIG. 5.a the front part, the connection piece (u) and the corresponding pair of PP pieces have been drawn.
- the connecting piece (u) bolted to one of its partner's PP pieces has been drawn in profile.
- This pressure is maintained when this union piece is screwed to the PP parts with a screw that completely crosses the body of the union piece and ends inside the body (c) of the PP parts.
- the screw is of the thickness and characteristics suitable for, on the one hand, maintaining the pressure of the spring and on the other hand, said thickness allows two holes perpendicular to the longitudinal plane thereof. These holes are related to the exhibition function of the painting or laminar motif, fully compatible with the standard devices existing in the market of hanging and exhibition of paintings or laminar motifs that are usually used in exhibition places such as art galleries, shops and others.
- the exposure devices compatible with the invention described herein are those based on the use of metal rods (or braided steel cable), arranged vertically; together with anchoring or hanging pieces that are the ones that support the framed picture or laminar motif.
- One way of exposing the framed frames with the device described would be to introduce the rod (or the cable) through the screw holes and finally arrange the anchoring pieces in the rods below the framed frame (i.e. below the bottom screws).
- the anchoring pieces would stop and withstand the weight of the framed frame.
- Another way could be the use of hanging pieces. These pieces are fixed to the rod (or cable) at a height determined and have a hook to hang the framed picture or motif; which, in this case, would hold a loop (cord, wire, chain) through the holes of all the screws.
- the chain would hang on the hook and the pressure would be made up against the two lower pairs of PP pieces.
- This last way of hanging the frame is also compatible with more traditional hanging methods such as the use of scarps fixed to the walls.
- This pair of PP pieces is arranged in its corresponding corner in the same manner as already described for the PP pieces for fixing and folding the tape; because in the way of fixing the frame or motif they are the same as the other pairs of PP pieces.
- the only differences of this couple with respect to the other three are:
- the corresponding rear connection piece (u) incorporates two clamps and two washers (one clamp and one washer for each piece of the pair). These tweezers and washers are related to the final fixing of the tape and the collection of the reel; and the method of fixation and collection, will be explained later.
- the tape on the front of these PP pieces for fixing and collecting the reel, is clamped and tensioned in the same manner described above for the PP pieces for fixing and folding the tape.
- the function of the PI pieces is to reinforce the tension and the curvature of the tape extended between the PP pieces located in the corners of the frame or laminar motif.
- the tape is clamped and tensioned in these pieces in the same way as in the PP pieces.
- This variant is a simplification in the design of the pieces, consisting of forming the pieces from simple sheets making the necessary and convenient folds to configure them as tweezers that would fit on the edges of the frame or laminar motive by actually pinching it; and that, additionally, they have the same slightly curved sheet described above and the same clamps on the lower and upper ends of said sheet, also described above.
- the reel has two identical cylindrical housings that wind each one (by the action of the corresponding spiral spring, to which the belt is attached), half exact length of said tape.
- the two spiral springs (each located inside its corresponding housing), are fixed to the corresponding end of the tape; and, thus, to be able to exert the drag and roll action of the same.
- This mechanism of circularly winding a tape by means of a spiral spring attached to the tape at its ends is standard in the market (eg: measuring meters); and here, in the invention that is described, it is applied to the construction of this reel of two housings and double winding, suitable for the use it will have in the framing of the frame or laminar motif.
- FIG. 10.a said reel is drawn.
- the reel has installed in each housing, a locking control (not drawn) of the belt that allows the belt is not affected at all times by the movement of collection due to the tension of the spiral spring, and thus be more comfortable to fix it, tension it and fold it into the PP and PI pieces.
- These locking controls also exist in the market (eg: measuring meters).
- the material of which it is made must meet certain characteristics of elasticity, flexibility, thinness and reversibility that make it suitable for its function as part of the frame. It must be, in particular its edges, resistant to successive clamping and tensioning in the PP and PI parts. Finally, the tape at the midpoint of its total length, will have a color mark that will help to start its placement in the PP pieces, as in the next section I will explain.
- the framing of a painting or laminar motif would be carried out by performing the following operations in the order detailed: °. Placing the eight PP pieces in the box corners, as detailed in the section "Description of the eight PP pieces". The fastening form, explained therein, enables the PP pieces to always be at the same distance or in the same relative position with respect to the vertex of their corresponding corner; regardless of the measurements or dimensions of the sheet or laminar motif. °. Placement, as detailed in the section "Description of auxiliary intermediate parts fPD". of the necessary PI pieces, according to measurements of the table or motif. °. Tape placement.
- the tape will begin to be placed by folding and fixing it in the pair of PP pieces for fixing and folding the tape, located in the corner opposite the corner where the pair of PP parts for fixing and collecting the reel has been fixed; that is, in the corner located on the diagonal of the frame drawn from the corner of the corner of the pair of PP pieces for fixing and collecting the reel.
- the main feature of said fold is that, once tensioned and conveniently adjusted on the inner rear face of the PP pieces, the pinched and tensioned tape will form, on the front front face of said PP pieces, a right angle square; the groove between the two PP pieces being the bisector of said square, thus making the first corner of the frame.
- the tape must be clamped and tensioned along the front front of the PP pieces. To do this, we clamp and tension the tape at its lower and upper ends in the respective clamps of each sheet (1) of the PP pieces. Finally the tape is perfectly extended and forming a square, with its slightly curved surface, following the curvature of the sheets (1) of the PP pieces. °. Continuation of the tape extension process: From here, the tape is extended symmetrically to the two closest corners, pinching and tensioning the tape in the intermediate auxiliary PI parts that we have previously placed.
- variant in the way of folding the tape and tensioning the fold in the pairs of PP pieces for fixing and folding the tape is described below; variant that I also include as an integral part of the invention.
- This variant would be the use of a loose articulated part (cu) as a tensioner of the fold, replacing the cylindrical tensioners that were part of the PP parts.
- This piece is drawn in the figures (Fig. 14.a), (14.b) and (14.c) with front, profile and perspective view from below, respectively. It has a wedge arrangement that would be tensioned by a tensioner located inside the wedge for angles of the wedge below a certain one.
- the two wedge rods at their junction point (wedge vertex) can rotate and in addition, these rods have the proper shape (following the internal curvature of the PP pieces) to conveniently tension the belt fold.
- this wedge-type tensioner would be carried out by the internal rear face of the PP pieces, introducing the wedge tight with the fingers in the fold of the tape. When released, the wedge tensioner would expand, making tension on the fold adapting it to the interior curvature of the PP pieces.
- the invention is structured in the manufacture of pieces formed all of them by a compact (c) rectangular "L" shaped body, to which a trapezoidal shaped sheet (1) has to be attached , thin and curved; whose horizontal ends (lower and upper), bend to form tweezers.
- a tensioning element (t) of cylindrical body is placed whose interior incorporates a spiral spring which exerts rotational tension on a tongue which is maintained by a stop also arranged on the inner convex side of the sheet (1).
- the connecting piece (u) is laminated and incorporates the springs with shoe and the screw holes.
- the reel is structured by winding a tape at both ends in two cylindrical housings that incorporate the corresponding spiral spring to which the ends of the tape are attached. The exact half of the tape is wound in each housing.
- the housings incorporate a control of blocking of the tension of drag exerted by the springs on the belt and thus, to have a tape udder of tensions for a more comfortable manipulation.
- the pieces are structured as simple tweezers (subject to the frame or laminar motif by clamping effect), obtainable from a single sheet; and, the cylindrical tensioning elements are replaced by wedge-type tensioners (cu) which are loose pieces formed with 2 longitudinal rods joined at a vertex where they can freely rotate with respect to each other; and to which a tensioner is incorporated (eg, laminar type) that will exert tension contrary to its approach.
- wedge-type tensioners cu

Abstract
The invention relates to an adaptable, re-usable, dismantlable and articulated device which is used to frame pictures and other laminar elements. Normally, when rigid frames are produced in specialist workshops, the four sides are cut to measure and joined together. In addition, improved frames have been developed, comprising rigid parts that have been designed for a discrete set of measurements. The inventive device comprises parts which are fixed to the corners and sides of the picture or laminar element. The aforementioned parts comprise an L-shaped compact body (c) with rectangular sides which rests on the edge of the picture, and rear connecting parts (u) are used for fixing purposes with the aid of a spring and a screw. A flexible band, which is wound in a cylindrical double-casing spool, is fixed to the aforementioned parts be means of folding, clamping (in the clamps of the sheet (I) from the parts) and tightening (in the tensioning devices (t) from the parts). The spool casings are supported by washers at the rear of the parts. The frame thus produced can be used to hang, protect and decorate pictures. The invention is particularly suitable for use in order to enable a light frame to be easily mounted and removed for re-use (e.g. temporary exhibitions in galleries and at art fairs). In addition, the invention facilitates framing such that any person can frame a picture without the need for a specialist workshop.
Description
MEMORIA DESCRIPTIVA DE LA INVENCIÓN DESCRIPTIVE MEMORY OF THE INVENTION
TITULO Dispositivo articulado, desmontable, reutilizable y adaptable de enmarcado de cuadros y otros motivos laminares.TITLE Articulated, removable, reusable and adaptable device for frame framing and other laminar motifs.
SECTOR DE LA TÉCNICA El sector de la técnica relativo a la invención es el de: "ENMARCADO DE CUADROS U OBRAS (bien artísticas o simplemente decorativas) Y DE MOTIVOS LAMINARES (láminas, reproducciones, fotografías, "posters"), para su exposición en interiores (Galerías de arte, ferias de arte, pabellones, estudios de artistas e incluso, casas particulares).SECTOR OF THE TECHNIQUE The sector of the technique related to the invention is that of "FRAMING OF PICTURES OR WORKS (either artistic or simply decorative) AND OF LAMINARY MOTIVES (plates, reproductions, photographs," posters "), for exhibition in interiors (art galleries, art fairs, pavilions, artist studios and even private homes).
El marco tradicional así construido, prácticamente, lo es sólo para un cuadro o motivo laminar de unas medidas determinadas.STATE OF THE PREVIOUS TECHNIQUE Currently, and as I know, the framing of pictures and lamellar motifs is usually done by cutting to measure (of a profile or strip of molding manufactured in a length / s / is determined), the four segments that a Once cut at 45 ° in miter and glued, stapled and / or screwed together, they will form the frame. The usual materials used in this traditional framing are wood, metal profiles (eg aluminum) and other synthetic materials. Characteristic common to all of them is stiffness. The traditional framework thus constructed, practically, is only for a frame or laminar motif of certain measures.
In addition, by the process of construction of this type of frames, the elaboration is carried out by the professionals of the framing workshops; which work with the concept of permanent framing; that is, they frame by placing at the back of the frame or motif, as a protection, a sheet (usually of cardboard) of the same dimensions as the frame, then fixing said sheet to the molding or profile. If the molding is made of wood (or related material), the fixing is done with nails or similar that are introduced by the inner side of the molding and perpendicularly to it, serving as a back support to the assembly formed by: back protective sheet (eg: cardboard) - frame or motif - "paspartout" or front decorative sheet (optional) - transparent front protective sheet (optional , eg: crystal). These nails are usually put under pressure with suitable tools. On the other hand, if the molding is of the metal profile type, the rear fastening is carried out with curved and elongated sheet metal parts that fit (yielding in curvature) between the protective backsheet and the profile itself, acting as simple tensioners; and, normally, it is not easy to access them once installed.
Thus, for the aforementioned, it is verified that the traditional framing work in addition to being specialized, performs a type of rigid frame and tailored for each frame or laminar motif, with few possibilities of reuse and with few facilities for the subsequent unmarking of the frame or laminar motif and the storage of the frame itself.
The framing device described here largely eliminates these inconveniences and provides advantages that will be specified later.
Other types of removable frames or improved frames may also exist on the market; but all of them, even being modular, are designed for a discrete set of measures (possibly standardized) of the tables or laminar motifs. They are not designed for a continuous set (up to a limit) of different measures; and, do not include the concept of flexible and adaptable framework; These characteristics will be detailed later in the explanation of the invention.
OF THE INVENTION Introduction The present invention relates to a device for framing pictures or laminar motifs; which, has been conceived in order to obtain notable advantages over other existing framing systems. Said device is specified in parts that are attached or fixed to the frame or laminar motif; and, of a reel that reels a tape; which may be subject to the aforementioned pieces.
Both types of objects (that is, the parts and the reel with the tape) constitute the device of the invention; and, its placement, articulation and tensioning on the frame or laminar motif, forms the corresponding framework; Well, once installed, it meets the characteristics of the frames: Subject for exposure, protection and decoration of the painting or motif.
The implicit advantages of this framing device, compared to other types of frames currently on the market, are: o Implement in practice the concept of time frame, in the sense that it is designed to be placed and removed simply, comfortably and how many Sometimes the picture or motive is required. This favors the reuse of the frame, something for which traditional frames are not intended. o Implement in practice the concept of universal framework, in the sense that it is designed to frame frames or motifs of any measures and thicknesses, up to a limit, which is impossible in traditional custom framing. Or Implement in practice the concept of flexible frame as a flexible tape is the constituent element of the profile of the frame, with the associated advantages of less weight and less space for storage as a loose frame. In addition this flexibility, would allow the framing of laminar motifs not completely flat (up to a limit or degree of curvature) and non-rectangular motifs (polygonal in general); which is impossible with the rigid traditional framed. O Generalize the process of framing frames so that anyone can frame without needing special tools or have specialized framing workshops.
Explicación general del dispositivo El dispositivo de enmarcado que constituye el objeto de la invención está formado por:General explanation of the device The framing device that constitutes the object of the invention is formed by:
Eight Main Pieces (PP), located in pairs in each of the four corners of the frame or motif. Each pair of PP pieces of each corner are fixed to each other and to the frame or motif by a flat connecting piece that is placed at the back of the frame or laminated motif and which is screwed to the two PP pieces of the pair. B. An optional determined number (variable according to the dimensions of the frame or motif) of Intermediate Pieces (PI) that are located on the sides of the frame or motif. The function of the PI parts is that of auxiliary support to the PP parts in the tension reinforcement and adaptation of the flexible belt that will form the profile of the frame. Approximately two pieces PI for each side may be needed for pictures or laminar motifs of 1 meter side; and none are needed, for frames or laminar motifs of about 35 CMS or less on the side.
In the drawings where the picture or laminar motif is drawn, it is represented as a diagonally striped quadrangular surface. In this description, the sheet or laminar motif, includes all the sheets, if any, of subsequent protection and previous decoration ("paspartout") and transparent of protection (glass).
The eight PP pieces, as stated in the Section of the EXPLANATION OF THE INVENTION, are placed in pairs at the corners of the frame or laminar motif.
On the other hand, due to a difference in functionality, one of the four pairs of PP pieces is different from the other three. This is the pair of PP parts for fixing and collecting the reel. On the other hand, the other three pairs of PP pieces are those for fixing and folding the tape.
En dichas figuras se han señalado como elementos constitutivos principales de las mismas, los siguientes:Supporting the description in the drawings, in the figures (Fig. 1.a), (l.b) and (l.c), a front piece of fastening and folding of tape has been drawn, respectively, front rear, front and profile front, respectively. These figures have indicated as the main constituent elements of them, the following:
(c): Compact "L" shaped body that rests on the edge of the frame or motif. The body (c) has on its rear face a screw hole to be screwed, by the rear or back of the frame or laminar motif, to the joint piece with which it will be fixed to said laminar frame or motif and also to the other PP piece of the couple. 2. (1): Curved sheet welded or joined by one end (its lower side) to the body (c). For stability purposes, rest on another point on a body projection (c). This sheet of vertical curved surface, also conveniently curves its lower and upper ends or sides to form at said ends two longitudinal clamps, in which by pressure, the tape would slide and would be pinched and tensioned, respectively, the lower and upper of said tape. By clamping and thus tightening the tape, it is extended longitudinally on the slightly curved surface of the sheet and parallel to the line on each side of the frame or laminar motif. The width of the tape must be ideal so that once it is longitudinally clamped it is well extended. For visual purposes, the installed frame will be the tape extended and tensioned on the PP and PI pieces; Y, folded and collected, (in a certain way, as I will explain later) in the PP pieces.
(t): Cylindrical tensioning element arranged on the rear face of the sheet (1), which incorporates a suitable spiral spring, so that it rotates a tongue to a stop that is in the sheet (1). The edge of the tongue next to the sheet (1), has the same curvature as said sheet, in order to favor the rotation without bumping the surface of the sheet. The dimensions, position of the tensioner and the direction of rotation of the tongue must be suitable for its function of tensioning the fold that we will carry out on the belt in each pair of PP pieces for fixing and folding the tape.
In the figures (Fig. 2.a) and (2.b), a couple of front and rear folding PP pieces, respectively, have been drawn in a suitable position in a corner of the frame or motif laminate.
We can observe in the figures (Fig. 2.a) and (2.b), how the pair of pieces PP (in this case of fixing and folding of tape) are arranged in a corner of the frame or motif; forming between them a groove in miter. This groove forms a separation channel between the two PP pieces, where the folding of the tape will begin as I will explain later.
In the figures (Fig. 3.a) and (3.b), a pair of PP pieces for fixing and folding the tape in their ideal placement in a corner has been drawn, from profile above and from below, respectively. of the picture or laminar motif.
In the figures (Fig. 4.a) and (4.b) the connection piece (u) of the PP pieces has been drawn to the frame or motif and to each other. On the face that will rest on the body (c) of the PP pieces, it has two tension springs that end in a clamping shoe. It also has two threaded holes to be screwed to the two PP pieces of the corresponding pair. In the figure (Fig. 5.a), the front part, the connection piece (u) and the corresponding pair of PP pieces have been drawn. In the figure (Fig. 5.b), the connecting piece (u) bolted to one of its partner's PP pieces has been drawn in profile.
As can be seen in the figures (Fig. 5.a) and (5.b), the spring with a shoe that incorporates the rear connecting piece (u), presses against the frame or laminar motif, which is retained by the body (c) "L" shaped PP parts. This pressure is maintained when this union piece is screwed to the PP parts with a screw that completely crosses the body of the union piece and ends inside the body (c) of the PP parts. When screwing both pieces we configure a "U" profile in which the frame or laminar motif is encased, sufficiently pressed by the spring of the connecting piece.
The screw is of the thickness and characteristics suitable for, on the one hand, maintaining the pressure of the spring and on the other hand, said thickness allows two holes perpendicular to the longitudinal plane thereof. These holes are related to the exhibition function of the painting or laminar motif, fully compatible with the standard devices existing in the market of hanging and exhibition of paintings or laminar motifs that are usually used in exhibition places such as art galleries, shops and others.
In particular, the exposure devices compatible with the invention described herein are those based on the use of metal rods (or braided steel cable), arranged vertically; together with anchoring or hanging pieces that are the ones that support the framed picture or laminar motif.
One way of exposing the framed frames with the device described would be to introduce the rod (or the cable) through the screw holes and finally arrange the anchoring pieces in the rods below the framed frame (i.e. below the bottom screws). The anchoring pieces would stop and withstand the weight of the framed frame. Another way could be the use of hanging pieces. These pieces are fixed to the rod (or cable) at a height determined and have a hook to hang the framed picture or motif; which, in this case, would hold a loop (cord, wire, chain) through the holes of all the screws. The chain would hang on the hook and the pressure would be made up against the two lower pairs of PP pieces. This last way of hanging the frame is also compatible with more traditional hanging methods such as the use of scarps fixed to the walls.
In the figure (Fig. 6.a) the pair of PP pieces for fixing and collecting the reel has been drawn on the back side. In the figure (Fig. 6.b) a piece of this pair of PP pieces has been drawn in profile.
This pair of PP pieces is arranged in its corresponding corner in the same manner as already described for the PP pieces for fixing and folding the tape; because in the way of fixing the frame or motif they are the same as the other pairs of PP pieces. The only differences of this couple with respect to the other three are:
These tweezers and washers are related to the final fixing of the tape and the collection of the reel; and the method of fixation and collection, will be explained later.
O No llevan los elementos tensores cilindricos.O They do not carry the cylindrical tension elements.
Otherwise, the tape, on the front of these PP pieces for fixing and collecting the reel, is clamped and tensioned in the same manner described above for the PP pieces for fixing and folding the tape.
Description of auxiliary intermediate parts (PD In the figures (Fig. 7.a) and (7.b), an auxiliary PI piece for fixing and tensioning tape, placed on the edge of the frame or laminar motif, has been drawn on the back and profile side.
These pieces incorporate the same compact body (c) in the form of "L" and the curved sheet (1) of the PP parts. Now, the sheet (1) does not have a cut side with an inclination of 45 ° in miter. Simply its sides are parallel two to two. Nor do they incorporate the cylindrical tensioning element of the PP parts for fixing and folding the belt. The rear fixing piece to the frame or motif (and incorporating the fixing spring), simply has a quadrangular shape as seen in the figures. Also the screw is different, because they do not need to be so long since they do not need to incorporate the holes for hanging.
As stated above, the function of the PI pieces is to reinforce the tension and the curvature of the tape extended between the PP pieces located in the corners of the frame or laminar motif.
The tape is clamped and tensioned in these pieces in the same way as in the PP pieces.
Before describing the tape reel in detail and how to frame the frame or motif, I will describe a variant in the design of the PP and PI pieces. Variant that I also include in this specification as an integral part of the invention.
This variant is a simplification in the design of the pieces, consisting of forming the pieces from simple sheets making the necessary and convenient folds to configure them as tweezers that would fit on the edges of the frame or laminar motive by actually pinching it; and that, additionally, they have the same slightly curved sheet described above and the same clamps on the lower and upper ends of said sheet, also described above.
In the figures (Fig. 8.a) and (8.b), an auxiliary fixing and tensioning PI piece designed according to this variant has been drawn on the back and profile side respectively. It is observed that the piece itself is a large clamp that is fixed to the edge of the frame by laminating motif by pinching it.
In the figures (Fig. 9.a) and (9.b), a pair of PP pieces for fixing and folding of tape and a pair of PP pieces for fixing and collecting reel have been drawn on the back side, respectively. , according to this design variant. It is observed that the extension, curving and joining together of the rear part of the clamp of each piece, forms what was previously the rear piece of union (u) of the pieces of a pair of PP pieces. Actually, with this variant of the design, each pair of PP pieces with their rear connecting piece (u); They are now one piece. And these new PP pieces (which would be four in total) fit at the angle of each corner, double clamping the frame or motif (a clamp on each side of the corner). In figures (Fig. 9.c) and (9.d), a PP piece of tape fixing and folding and a PP piece of fixing and reel collection, respectively, have been drawn in profile, according to this design variant. In the figure (Fig. 9.c), for the sake of clarity in the drawing, the cylindrical tensioning element of the PP piece for fixing and folding the tape has not been drawn.
With respect to the clamping, tensioning and folding of the tape, nothing changes in this design variant, in relation to the design first. The tape is clamped and tensioned in the same way as before. And its folding is the same. This variant only refers to the way of fixing or attaching to the frame or laminar motif.
Description of the tape reel As already indicated in the Section of the EXPLANATION OF THE INVENTION. The reel has two identical cylindrical housings that wind each one (by the action of the corresponding spiral spring, to which the belt is attached), half exact length of said tape. The two spiral springs (each located inside its corresponding housing), are fixed to the corresponding end of the tape; and, thus, to be able to exert the drag and roll action of the same.
This mechanism of circularly winding a tape by means of a spiral spring attached to the tape at its ends, is standard in the market (eg: measuring meters); and here, in the invention that is described, it is applied to the construction of this reel of two housings and double winding, suitable for the use it will have in the framing of the frame or laminar motif.
In the figure (Fig. 10.a) said reel is drawn. The reel has installed in each housing, a locking control (not drawn) of the belt that allows the belt is not affected at all times by the movement of collection due to the tension of the spiral spring, and thus be more comfortable to fix it, tension it and fold it into the PP and PI pieces. These locking controls also exist in the market (eg: measuring meters).
As for the tape, the material of which it is made, must meet certain characteristics of elasticity, flexibility, thinness and reversibility that make it suitable for its function as part of the frame. It must be, in particular its edges, resistant to successive clamping and tensioning in the PP and PI parts. Finally, the tape at the midpoint of its total length, will have a color mark that will help to start its placement in the PP pieces, as in the next section I will explain.
Descripción del modo de enmarcar un cuadro o motivo laminar con el dispositivo de enmarcado objeto de la invenciónDescription of how to frame a picture or laminar motif with the framing device object of the invention
The framing of a painting or laminar motif would be carried out by performing the following operations in the order detailed: °. The tape will begin to be placed by folding and fixing it in the pair of PP pieces for fixing and folding the tape, located in the corner opposite the corner where the pair of PP parts for fixing and collecting the reel has been fixed; that is, in the corner located on the diagonal of the frame drawn from the corner of the corner of the pair of PP pieces for fixing and collecting the reel.
Se puede determinar, en función del ancho de la cintaTo do this, having said pair of PP pieces for fixing and folding the tape in a position, with respect to us, anterior front; we place the tape on the groove of separation at 45 ° in miter that present both pieces PP; matching the midpoint of the tape with the longitudinal axis of said groove. Next, aided by a thin and hard object, the tape is introduced into the groove and to both sides thereof, below the sheet (1) of said PP parts. In the figures (Fig. 3.a) and (3.b), it can be seen how between frame or motif and the inner rear face of the sheet (1) of the PP pieces, from the corner of the corner of the frame or motive to the corresponding compact body (c), there is a separation by which the tape can be extended to both sides. Thus it is possible to make a certain fold in the tape (Fig. 10) b that remains on the inner face of the pair of PP pieces. This fold, in a geometric approximation, is triangular, or more precisely double triangular with a comet shape. In the figure (Fig. 10), it is drawn with a rear front view and can be characterized mathematically according to the width (a) of the tape. It can be determined, depending on the width of the tape
Esto es útil en la fase del prototipo para saber a priori el mejor sitio dónde colocar el tensor cilindrico de las piezas PP de fijado y plegado de la cinta.(a) and of the folds made, the angles that are present in the fold and the lengths of the segments thereof. This is useful in the prototype phase to know a priori the best place to place the cylindrical tensioner of the PP parts for fixing and folding the belt.
The main feature of said fold is that, once tensioned and conveniently adjusted on the inner rear face of the PP pieces, the pinched and tensioned tape will form, on the front front face of said PP pieces, a right angle square; the groove between the two PP pieces being the bisector of said square, thus making the first corner of the frame.
In the figure (Fig. 11), we can see how the fold is fixed, in its shape and dimensions, with the two cylindrical tensioners (t) of the pair of PP pieces for fixing and folding the tape, introducing the tabs of said tensioners (t) within the respective folds at the ends of the fold. The direction of rotation of both tabs is circular and opposite each other; and, thus, to be able to generate the symmetrical fold with respect to the groove between both PP pieces, which is in the position of the bisector of the fold.
Once the fold is made, the tape must be clamped and tensioned along the front front of the PP pieces.
Well, in these corners are the other two pairs of PP pieces for fixing and folding the tape. °. Completion of the framing: from these corners we finish the route reaching the opposite corner diagonally to the corner from which we started. In this last corner, on the front front of the PP pieces for fixing and collecting the reel, we will clamp the tape on the clamps of the corresponding sheets (1) and through the groove between the two pieces we will introduce the tape, leaving the reel ( the two housings with the rest of the tape) on the inner back of the PP pieces.
A partir de aquí, se realiza el siguiente proceso:From here, the following process is performed:
A fixing of the tape on the back of the PP pieces using the clamps that incorporates the corresponding connecting piece. II. A compound folding (several folds) with which it is achieved that the reel is perfectly located in the concave rear part of the PP pieces for fixing and collecting the reel. This compound folding is detailed graphically in the series of figures (Fig. 12.a), (12.b), (12.c), (12.d), (12.e) and (12.f). III. A final fixation of the reel using the washers that pick up the reel and that are screwed, in the rear, to the corresponding connecting piece. With the collection of the reel ends the framing process. The final arrangement of the reel collected is that drawn in the figures (Fig. 13.a) and (13.b), by the rear and profile, respectively.
Variant related to the way to tension the fold of the tape in the pairs of fixing and folding PP parts of the tape.
A variant in the way of folding the tape and tensioning the fold in the pairs of PP pieces for fixing and folding the tape is described below; variant that I also include as an integral part of the invention.
This variant would be the use of a loose articulated part (cu) as a tensioner of the fold, replacing the cylindrical tensioners that were part of the PP parts. This piece is drawn in the figures (Fig. 14.a), (14.b) and (14.c) with front, profile and perspective view from below, respectively. It has a wedge arrangement that would be tensioned by a tensioner located inside the wedge for angles of the wedge below a certain one. The two wedge rods at their junction point (wedge vertex) can rotate and in addition, these rods have the proper shape (following the internal curvature of the PP pieces) to conveniently tension the belt fold.
The placement of this wedge-type tensioner would be carried out by the internal rear face of the PP pieces, introducing the wedge tight with the fingers in the fold of the tape. When released, the wedge tensioner would expand, making tension on the fold adapting it to the interior curvature of the PP pieces.
INDICACIÓN DE UN MODO DE APLICACIÓN INDUSTRIALIn the figure (Fig. 15.a), the position of the wedge tensioner is drawn inside the fold. For a stabilization of the wedge tensioner in its correct location, in this variant, the PP pieces for fixing and folding the tape, would carry on its front rear, a vertical sheet (s) (which would be part of the sheet (1)); and, that would box the wedge tensioner (cu) making it difficult to relocate. Said vertical sheet is drawn in the figures (Fig. 15.a) and (15.b). INDICATION OF AN INDUSTRIAL APPLICATION MODE
In view of the figures it can be seen that the invention is structured in the manufacture of pieces formed all of them by a compact (c) rectangular "L" shaped body, to which a trapezoidal shaped sheet (1) has to be attached , thin and curved; whose horizontal ends (lower and upper), bend to form tweezers. On the convex inner side of the sheet (1) a tensioning element (t) of cylindrical body is placed whose interior incorporates a spiral spring which exerts rotational tension on a tongue which is maintained by a stop also arranged on the inner convex side of the sheet (1). The connecting piece (u) is laminated and incorporates the springs with shoe and the screw holes. Once the connecting piece (u) has been screwed to the compact bodies (c), there is a "U" profile where the frame or laminar motif fits and the pieces would be subject to said laminar frame or motif due to the tension of the docks. The screws incorporate transverse holes within its longitudinal body for the function of hanging and exposing the frame or laminar motif. The reel is structured by winding a tape at both ends in two cylindrical housings that incorporate the corresponding spiral spring to which the ends of the tape are attached. The exact half of the tape is wound in each housing. The housings incorporate a control of blocking of the tension of drag exerted by the springs on the belt and thus, to have a tape udder of tensions for a more comfortable manipulation. In the most simplified variants of the invention, the pieces are structured as simple tweezers (subject to the frame or laminar motif by clamping effect), obtainable from a single sheet; and, the cylindrical tensioning elements are replaced by wedge-type tensioners (cu) which are loose pieces formed with 2 longitudinal rods joined at a vertex where they can freely rotate with respect to each other; and to which a tensioner is incorporated (eg, laminar type) that will exert tension contrary to its approach.

In this variant, the two pieces of each pair of PP and PI pieces are really shaped as a single piece (obtained exclusively by folding a flat initial sheet of a certain surface shape) such that, once the folding process is finished , results in the form described graphically (d). The function of the connecting piece described in claim I a , in this variant is performed by a part of the single piece that is placed in each corner. Now the pieces have a hollow cylindrical body (ch) attached, where the screw (described in claim I a ) that participates in the hanging function of the frame or laminar motif can be screwed for exposure. In the PP piece for fixing and collecting the reel, the hollow cylindrical bodies (ch) have a flat square plate (lch) attached parallel to the corresponding edge of the frame or laminar motif that will allow the reel housing to be supported for collection. Likewise, this PP part for fixing and collecting the reel incorporates, for the stable clamping of the reel housings, curved laminar washers as described in claim I a . Framing articulated device, removable, reusable and adaptable frame or sheet according to claims I or motifs and 2 °, with the variant that the pieces PP fixing and bending the tape does not carry a cylindrical tensioner as constituting part thereof; if not, the tensioning of the fold is made by a loose, articulated wedge-shaped piece. This wedge piece (cu) is formed by two symmetrical legs along a vertical axis; and articulated with each other, by one end thereof or vertex. This articulation allows them to rotate in relation to said articulated joint point. In turn, the legs have an ideally shaped body so that in their location in the PP pieces for fixing and folding the tape, stretch and stretch this tape conveniently, adapting it to the inner surface of the sheets (1). Likewise, this wedge piece (cu) has a tensioner (it can be curved or in any other suitable laminar form) located on the inner faces of the two legs. In this variant, the fixing and tensioning parts PP of the belt incorporate in its rear part, as an extension of the sheet (1), a clamping component (s) with a triangular laminar shape and in a vertical direction, whose function is to hold the wedge piece (cu) in its location. Device framed hinged, removable, reusable and adaptable frame or lamellar motifs according to claims I or 2 and 3 or, with the variant that all parts and reel with the tape are capable of adapting the design to lamellar reasons not totally flat and / or non-rectangular edges (polygonal laminar motifs), carrying out the appropriate formal modifications in their physical characteristics: curvature, angles, elasticity, ... of all the components to achieve the best adaptation of this type of frame to these laminar motifs. Articulated, detachable, reusable and adaptable framing device of frames or laminar motifs according to claims I o , 2 o , 3 o and 4 a , with the variant that both the curvature (or curved profile) presented by the sheet (1) of PP and PI pieces, such as the design of the other components of the pieces, are capable of being changed for mere aesthetic considerations or for an improvement in practical efficiency, essentially maintaining the same inventive idea.
