Abstract
The present invention relates to a recombinant nucleic acid comprising a viral genome, said viral genome comprising an insertion of a heterologous nucleotide sequence into the viral genome, said insertion being located at a naturally occurring deletion or insertion site of said genome. In a preferred embodiment, the insertion site is an insertion site selected from table 2, or a homologue thereof. The invention also relates to viruses comprising said nucleic acids.
