Abstract

Eolienne montée pivotante autour d’un axe de rotation vertical (2) de façon à permettre son orientation face au vent (V) et comportant une hélice actionnée par le vent qui est équipée de pales (11) portées par un moyeu (10) d'axe horizontal, ainsi qu'un alternateur (2) coopérant avec 1'hélice pour fournir de 1'energie électrique, et un carénage circulaire divergent (1) de longueur relativement faible monté concentriquement au moyeu (10) et entourant les pales (11), caractérisée en ce que 1'axe de rotation (2) est situé en amont du foyer (Fc) des forces aérodynamiques résultantes (Frd, Frg) générées sur le carénage (1) par un vent axial (V), dans le sens de ce vent.
