Abstract

3-in-1 Cosmetic Brush set has a body which contains three brushes. The larger brush is brought into function by operating the slide able button along the track which is located on the main body of the product. The two smaller brushes pivot separately (on the same plan and axis) by a design feature (located on both of the smaller brushes) which helps to bring them into function independently when needed. The two smaller brushes are secured to the inside of the main body via the axis on which they pivot. The three brushes are protected in their closed position by the cap. The invention relates to the visual design and arrangment of the three brushes within the product, in that each brush can be used independently and ergonomically.

Description

3 - in - 1 Cosmetic Brush Set
This invention relates to a new 3 - in - 1 Cosmetic Brush Set design, in particular this invention relates to the way the brushes are arranged within the product.
Basically separate brushes are available, which can be bought as single brushes, or in packs which consist of between one (1) to five (5) brushes. This product brings together three (3) types of cosmetic brushes into a single compact product. Very importantly the product is functional, and the success of the invention lies in the visual design and the arrangement of the three (3) brushes within the product, in that each of the three (3) brushes can be used independently and ergonomically.
Accordingly, this invention has one (1) of the brushes at the top, and the other two (2) smaller brushes situated at the bottom of the brush, adjacent to each other on the same plane and axis. The larger brush is brought into function by a slide able button, which moves along a track located on the body of the product. The two (2) smaller brushes can be rotated round by a feature located on the legs of each of the two (2) smaller brushes. All of which are described, in detail Jiereinafter.
Description of the drawings

FIGURE 7 shows the product with its cap on.
Detailed Description
FIG. 1 is showing an x-ray view of the product, where all the parts which contribute to the invention are shown. Firstly the main housing of the product 1 which contains the three (3) main brushes 3, 4 and 5. The larger brush 3 is extendable into its functional position by a button 2 that slides in a track 8 which is cut on the main body 1. The larger brush 3 is protected from being trapped in the track 8 by a part 7 which is located inside the main housing of the product 1. The two .smaller brushes 4.and 5. are brought into function independently via a design feature 6 which can be found on both 4 and 5. The larger brush 3 is connected to a part 9 which in turn is connected to the slide able button 2. A ferrule part 10 can be found on brushes 4 and 5.
In- FIG.2 the side view of the invention is shown. In view is the Main housing 1. One of the smaller brushes 4 is also visible (part of the other brush 5 can also be seen), as is the slide able button 2. A ferrule 10 attached to brush 4 is also visible. The feature 6 brings into function the smaller brush 4.
In FIG. 3 the three dimensional (3D) view of the product can be seen. All three (3) of the. brushes, 3, 4 and 5 are shown in their closed position. The slide able button 2 is shown in a position which keeps the larger brush 3 in its retracted position.
In FIG.4 the cap 11 is shown which helps to protect brushes, 3, 4 and 5, when they are in their closed positions, as shown in FIG.3.
FIG.5 shows one of the smaller brushes 5 in its open position, ready to be used. The brush 5 is pulled from its closed position by the feature 6. Once 5 (and 4) are out of their closed position(s) they can be pivoted round with the hand. Once round they would click into place, and after a certain degree can not be pivoted any further. The configuration of brushes 4 and 5 are arranged in such a way, that only one of the two brushes, 4 or 5 can be brought into function at any one time.
FIG.6 shows the larger Brush 3 in its functional jposition. It has been brought into operation via the slide able button 2, which moves along track 8.
FIG.7 shows the product 1, with the cap 11 on it. The cap 11 can only be used if the slide able button 2 is located at the bottom of the track 8, and the two smaller brushes 4 and 5 are in their closed positions. The cap 11 is designed in such a way that when it in on the product 1, it protects brushes 3, 4 and 5, and prevents them from being brought into function and used.
How each brush is used by the user, will now be described. Beginning with FIG.3 which shows the brushes 3, 4 and 5 in their closed positions. Firstly the user slides the button 2 along the track 8, located on the body 1. The slide able button 2 (now in reference to FIG.l) is indirectly attached to part 9, which indirectly is attached to 3, pushes the larger brush 3 to open and become visible, the user will keep sliding the slide able button 2 until it reaches the end of its track 8, thus leaving brush 3 in its fully extended position. The brush will be kept in position as the slide able button 2 will indirectly click into a locked position when the user releases the slide able button 2 at the end of its track 8. A reverse operation is carried out to retract brush 3. Referring now to FIG.6 the user presses .on button 2 and slides it down the track until; once again, button 2 indirectly clicks into a locked position once the user releases the button at the end of the track 8.
Referring to FIG^6 the brushes 4"and"5are brought into function independently and' they pivot on the sa e-plane-and-axisϊ For either one of the brushes-'tό work the user pushes' down against the feature 6 using their thumb or fingers. As shown in FΪG.6 by pushing ,dαwn^)n-featur.e.6 (either .on,4.or-5)..the brush -will -comex ut.of its. housing, .and-can he pivoted' round for use, as shown in FIG.5. To close the brush 4 it is pivoted back round using the hand.
