METHOD FOR PROVIDING REAL-TIME SERVICE USING CODE AND METHOD FOR PROVIDING CRM RELATED THE SERVICE
Technical Field The present invention relates to a method for providing wireless/wired contents and various services such as mobile commerce using codes in real time and a method for generating customer relationship management (hereinafter, referred to as "CRM") data for various services.
Background Art
With the widespread supply of wireless portable communication devices and the development of wireless communication technologies, the number of peoples who use the wireless Internet is gradually increased. The need for the use of the wireless Internet in actual life is gradually increased due to the development of a variety of contents and improved services.
Furthermore, the number of on-line and off-line operating entities, which provide a variety of contents using the wireless Internet, is gradually increased. The provision of various services using the wireless Internet in the future will further accelerate the activation of a wireless Internet market . Further, wireless portable mobile phones have been widely provided. The number of people who have an access to the wireless Internet using PCs, PDAs and the like are further increased. In addition, the use of the wireless Internet contents has gradually shifted from conventional character/melody downloading service fields to various service fields such as games, e-mail, broadcasting, entertainment, sports, shopping and so on. In line with this trend, there is a growing need for a variety of contents- providing services using an existing wireless Internet to become more universal and accessible.
However, there are still lots of problems in saying that anyone can easily access the wireless Internet services. In reality, there are lots of problems in saying that a user uses desired information and contents anywhere and anytime in real time without significant limitations.
According to various statistic data, the reason why a user does not use the wireless Internet services usually lies in that the user does not feel the necessity of the Internet services, the fees are high, its use is difficult, and it is not so general and convenient like the wired Internet. In other words, lack of development of a variety of contents that makes a user want to use it, a difficulty in wireless Internet navigation, and lack of services that allow the user to easily access desired contents at a time, are important problems to be solved.
For example, if a user uses a mobile phone to purchase a movie ticket in advance via a wireless Internet, he or she has to depress a lot of keys at least 10 times and to pay an expensive communication fee due to a relatively extended communication time.
Furthermore, a research by Nielson Norman Group revealed that most people think the most unsatisfactory point in using WAP (Wireless Application Protocol) is a difficulty in the navigation.
Disclosure of Invention
Accordingly, the present invention has been made in view of the above problems, and it is an object of the present invention to provide a method for providing a realtime service using codes. In order to solve the above problems and various inconvenience in using the wireless Internet, the present invention provides a method for providing a user with a variety of contents and information such as commerce of online/off-line interested parties using a device to which a camera is attached and various barcode technologies more conveniently and in real-time, and a method for generating CRM data for a variety of services provided to a user and providing the CRM data to a service provider and a broadcasting sponsor. To achieve the above objects, according to the present invention, there is provided a method for providing a realtime service using a code, including: a code insertion step of inserting a code image or/and code values of numerals and characters into an electric display medium and a variety of off-line media; a code recognition step of allowing the user terminal to recognize the code values inserted into the electric display medium and the variety of the off-line media; a code reception step of allowing a communication entity, which provides a communication service, to receive the code recognized in the user terminal through wireless/wired communication networks, ; and a service- providing step of searching related resources corresponding to the code received by the user terminal and providing a variety of on-line services related to the received code to the user terminal.
Further, the method for providing the real-time service using the code according to the present invention further
I includes the step of databasing the user' s reaction and corresponding information related to the service provided in the service-providing step, generating a variety of CRM data and providing the CRM data to a service provider and a broadcasting sponsor. Also, the method for providing the real-time service using the code according to the present invention further includes the step of databasing a user' s reaction and corresponding information related to the service provided in the service-providing step, generating a variety of data by the user, and providing the generated data to a service provider and a broadcasting sponsor.

Best Mode for Carrying Out the Invention
A method for providing a real-time service using codes according to the present invention will now be described in detail hereinafter with reference to the accompanying drawings .
FIG. 1 is a flowchart illustrating a method for providing a real-time service such as on-line contents using codes according to an embodiment of the present invention. A process of requesting services and a process of providing the services shown in FIG. 1 are performed between a device on the part of the user who receives the services of a communication entity and on-line and off-line interested party modules which provide the services to the user through a communication entity system.
The communication entity issues codes to the off-line interested party and the on-line interested party (S101) . The code issue process according to the present invention includes a contents registration process of registering contents to be provided by an on-line interested party in a database, a code value issue process of issuing a code value to be associated with the contents, and a database registration process of registering the code value issued in the code value issue process and resources such as contents in the database.
The code issue process may be different depending on business models. Detailed contents related to the code issue will be described in more detail in connection with corresponding contents below.
The issued code is inserted into an electric display medium and a variety of off-line media (S103) .
The process of inserting the code into the off-line medium according to an embodiment of the present invention will be described. If the code value issued in the code issue step (S101) and selected contents are transmitted to a database, the database registers resources corresponding to the code value and the selected contents therein. The code value is then transmitted to the on-line/off-line interested parties and is sent to a code register. The code register sends the code value to an encoder. The encoder encodes the code value to generate a code image, which is then inserted into a variety of off-line media such as a newspaper space. In the above, the off-line media may include all of things on which codes such as a variety of publications such as newspapers and magazines, a variety of public matters for broadcasting such as a subway or outdoor broadcasting, a variety of letters such as pamphlets, a giro paper, a goods packing paper, a good surface and so on are printed and from which the user can easily acquire the codes .
In another embodiment of the present invention, the media into which the codes can be inserted and from which the user can acquire the codes may include electric display media such as a LCD, a CRT and a liquid crystal of a mobile phone or a variety of electronic devices. The user can received a real-time service using the code, which is provided by the present invention, by using his or her device to acquire the code engraved on a web through the electric display medium during a web surfing.
The user has a code image or/and a code value of a character, a number, etc., which are printed on an electric display medium or a variety of off-line media, recognized in the user terminal (S105) .
The user can have the code printed on the electric display medium or a variety of the off-line media recognized in his or her device, by means of a method for directly inputting the code value using an image read-out means such as a web camera attached to the user terminal and an optical scanner, a keypad or the like.
If the code recognized in the user terminal is image recognition, the code value is extracted from the code through a decoding process and is then transmitted to a communication entity server via wireless/wired communication networks (S107). If the code recognized in the user terminal is directly recognized in a code value input mode, the code is directly transmitted to the communication entity system without experiencing the decoding process.
The communication entity system serves to provide the user with information such as contents corresponding to the code value received from the user, and write/manage user and interested party-related logs . A more detailed structure of the communication entity system will be described in related paragraphs .
Resources and corresponding other information such as a URL corresponding to the code value received from the user terminal are searched in the communication entity system (S109) .
The real-time service such as corresponding contents is provided to the user terminal based on the information searched in the communication entity system (Sill) .
In other words, the communication entity system searches the database for information corresponding to the code value (S109) and resends resources or corresponding information such as the searched URL to the user terminal. The user terminal can directly request a desired service to a corresponding on-line interested party and a corresponding off-line interested party based on the information such as the resources, which are received from the communication entity system, or receive the service from the communication entity system.
Furthermore, the user's reaction and other data for the service provided to the user are experienced by a CRM process or managed as data by the user, thus generating a variety of CRM data (S113) .
The CRM data are databased and managed, and the CRM data for a variety of services and the data by the user are provided to a broadcasting sponsor or a service provider as marketing data and other analysis data (S121).
The generation of the CRM data (S113) and the provision of the CRM data (S121) are performed in a CRM module and a log database (DB) among the components of the communication entity system. The CRM module performs a variety of CRM using a user log and demographic data. The CROM module is a module for writing a variety of CRM data for the use by the user and provides them to a marketing operator, so that they can be utilized as a variety of indices and data. Further, the CRM module can perform a CRM process through an afterward behavior that requests and analyzes a user' s log record information for a predetermined time by using the log DB.
The code issue process and the code recognition process according to the embodiment of the present invention will now be described in more detail with reference to FIG. 2 and FIG. 3.
Code issue
FIG. 2 illustrates the process of issuing the code inserted into newspaper articles and the printing process according to an embodiment of the present invention.
The code issue shown in FIG. 2 is characterized in that various contents of on-line interested parties are previously registered, codes are automatically inserted when editing corresponding articles using a simple web-based interface, and corresponding contents are connected.
In the code issue and code insertion, an on-line interested party 211 previously registers a search keyword and a corresponding URL for various contents in a communication entity system 213, as shown in FIG. 2 (S201) .
An off-line interested party requests a search into corresponding contents with a search window using a web interface 215 (S203) . The communication entity system 213 searches the search keyword and the corresponding URL related to the contents, which are registered in the on-line interested party, and outputs a list of searched contents (S205) .
The web interface 215 selects contents from the list of the outputted contents and automatically generates a corresponding code (S207).
The generated code is code-imaged in a typesetting software, inserted, and edited and printed in a variety of spaces 219 (S209) . The code issue process is an embodiment of the present invention. It is to be noted that the present invention is not limited to that the code is printed on newspaper spaces but can be applied to a variety of off-line media such as a magazine, a broadcasting product, a catalog, a product packaging paper, the surface of a product, etc., electric display media such as a LCD, a CRT, a liquid crystal, and the like . Code recognition
FIG. 3 illustrates the process of allowing the user terminal to recognize the code and providing a corresponding service through it according to an embodiment of the present invention. The user terminal used in the present invention is usually a device into which barcode can be inputted and that can be connected to a network. Preferably, the user terminal includes a device, which is portable and has a display means capable of displaying barcode and a network interface unit . A current recognition mode, a current zoom magnification, etc. are displayed on a display means such as a liquid crystal of the user terminal. A zoom code of the menu is selected and a code image is appropriately captured therefrom.
According to an embodiment of the present invention, the user has an icon printed on the newspaper article recognized in the user terminal (S301) . If the icon is recognized, the user terminal transmits a code value of the icon using the wireless/wired communication networks (S305) .
The user uses the user terminal to receive a page of a character or a bell sound corresponding to the code and uploads the page onto the display means of the device (S311) .
According to another embodiment of the present invention, the user has barcode printed on a product recognized in the user terminal (S303).
If the barcode is recognized, the user sends a code value of the barcode through the wireless/wired communication networks (S307) .
The user uses the user terminal to receive a page of the product corresponding to the corresponding code and then uploads the page onto the display means of the device (S313) . A process of providing the contents service through the code issue, the code recognition, etc. will now be described in more detail.
FIG. 4 illustrates the process of providing the contents through the code recognition on the system. According to an embodiment of the present invention, a user has a variety of code images, which are engraved in an object, recognized using a code image acquisition means such as a camera (S401) . A decoder of the user terminal decodes the code images recognized in the above process to extract code values (S403) . The extracted code values are transmitted to a switching gateway of the communication entity system through the interface module of the device (S405) . In the above, the transmitted information may include information on a user, a code value, an ID of the communication entity and so on.
The switching gateway perceives an ID of the communication entity from the received information and then sends the information to a platform of a corresponding, communication entity (S407). The information is transferred to a database in the platform of the corresponding communication entity.
The database is operated in cooperation with the log DB and stores log records in the log database (S409) .
Log refers to records on the operation of databases and module in a system, records on change of system environment, selection of a switch, items for input/output devices, data inputted by a control desk, information on a state or cause when the system is stopped and the like. These records are automatically recorded in a computer or the log database of the system. Furthermore, when any transaction updates any value of a database, the fact that a value before the updating and a value after the updating are first recorded in the log, and information on the start, end and cancellation of the transaction, are recorded in the log.
Information recorded in the log database may include information on a user, a code, resources and the like. After a log-on process for system connection, any change in system environment, etc., the database returns contents resources, etc., which are mapped to the received code value, to the switching gateway (S411) . The switching gateway resends the resources received from the database to the interface module of the user terminal (S413) .
The interface module of the use device transfers the received resources to a mobile platform of the user terminal (S415) .
The mobile platform of the user terminal requests contents corresponding to the received resources by transferring the resources received from the interface module to the on-line interested party (S417). The on-line interested party sends the contents for the user's request to the user terminal (S425) .
Through the above process, the user can receive desired contents using the code image.
