Abstract

A collapsible swimming pool (100) that changes from a collapsed to an expanded configuration. The pool is constructed of a foldable, durable material, and is shaped by way of tension provided by a coilable base spring (104). A floatation device (108) may be provided at the top of the side wall (106) of the pool, which floats on the water used to fill the pool, thereby raising the side wall as the water level rises.
