Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur Beschichtung eines Katalysatorträgers mit einer katalytisch aktiven Beschichtung unter Verwendung einer Beschichtungsdispersion, wobei der Katalysatorträger wenigstens zwei Teilstrukturen enthält, die sich durch ihr Aufnahmevermögen für die Beschichtungsdispersion unterscheiden. Das Verfahren ist dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Aufnahmevermögen der Teilstrukturen durch Vorbelegen des Katalysatorträgers mit einem ausbrennbaren Material oder mit Flüssigkeit relativ zueinander verändert und danach die katalytische Beschichtung in bekannter Weise auf den Filterkörper aufgebracht, getrocknet und/oder calciniert wird.
