Zur Messung der einzelnen Eigenschaftsänderungen durch Einwirkung der Duftstoffgemische wurde wie folgt vorgegangen: Kapseln aus PVACL wurden in den jeweiligen Gemischen der Duftstoffe gemäß Tab. 1 bis 3 vollständig eingelegt. Nach drei bzw. sechs Wochen wurden die Kapseln auf ihre mechanischen Eigenschaften überprüft. Die mit dem Parfümöl behandelten Kapseln wurden danach den verschiedenen Tests unterzogen. Beim Lösungstest wurde wie folgt vorgegangen: in einem 1-Liter-Becherglas (hohe Form) wird ein Sieb mit einer Maschenweite von 5 mm etwa 5 cm über dem Boden des Becherglases befestigt. Auf dem Sieb werden Kapseln angeordnet und in das Becherglas 600 ml kaltes Wasser gegeben. Die Mischung wird mit einem Magnetrührer und Rührfisch bei ca. 200 U/min. gerührt. Wenn die Kapseln innerhalb von 10 min. rückstandsfrei aufgelöst waren, wurde eine Löslichkeit der Kapseln bejaht.The procedure for measuring the individual property changes due to the action of the fragrance mixtures was as follows: Capsules made of PVACL were completely inserted in the respective mixtures of the fragrances in accordance with Tables 1 to 3. Die PVACL-Sprödigkeit wurde vor und nach Behandlung mit den Parfumölen gemäß Tab. 2 gemessen. Die in die Parfumöle eingelegten Kapseln wurden den Ölen entnommen und im Vergleich zu unbehandelten Kapseln bis zum Zerbrechen gebogen. Die auftretenden Unterschiede wurden bewertet.

Die Beispiele der Tab. 4 betreffen einzelne Duftstoffe und ihren Einfluss auf PVACL nach drei- bzw. sechswöchiger Einwirkungszeit. Auch hier wurden PVACL Kapseln in die Duftstoffe eingelegt und die Eigenschaften wie oben beschrieben, beurteilt.
