Abstract

The invention relates to the design of electromagnetic drives and can be used for road transport, lifting mechanisms, for example for winches, for driven deflector blades and also as an engine for wheels. The inventive electromagnetic drive comprises a brake assembly arranged in a lid on an input shaft inside a body which is embodied in the form of a cylinder. The input shaft is fitted with a clutch unit arranged in such a way that it is reciprocated with respect to the input shaft. An input unit is embodied in the form of a shaft and arranged in an alignment thereto inside the body. The brake assembly is linked to the clutch unit and a cinematic connection thereof is provided in the form of gearing, one part of which is mounted on the inner surface of the body and another part thereof, embodied in the form of a gear train, interlocks with the clutch unit of the input shaft. A slotted magnetic core is fitted with an additional single-piece magnetic core. The inventive design precludes rotation of the output unit in the absence of motor voltage and in the presence of a load on the output unit.
