Abstract

A tennis racket is fitted at the bottom side of the handle end (1) with an exchangeable adhesive strip for picking up tennis balls. In particular, an adhesive strip (2) is disclosed composed of a support layer provided with a pressure-adhesive layer and with an opposite, mechanical attachment layer. The mechanical attachment layer enables a player to pick up a tennis ball easily without stooping. The pressure-sensitive layer is designed in such a way that the adhesive strip (2) can be loosened again from the racket without damaging it.
