Abstract

Es wird eine Basisstation für ein Funk-Kommunikationssystem, insbesondere für ein Mobilfunknetz angegeben. Die Basisstation enthält mindestens zwei Sende- und Empfangseinrichtungen und zumindest eine Antenneneinrichtung zur funktechnischen Versorgung von Kommunikationsverbindungen zu zumindest einer Gegenstation. Eine Steuereinrichtung der Basisstation nimmt eine Überwachungsorganisation der Sende- und Empfangseinrichtungen derart vor, dass eine dieser Sende- und Empfangseinrichtungen in einen Energiesparmodus geschaltet wird, sobald diese keine Kommunikationsverbindungen versorgt.
