Abstract
The roof-rack for securing bicycles to a vehicle (3) comprises four clamps (6-9), each pair of which secures one wheel (10, 11) of the bicycle (4). Vorzugsweise sollten die Halteorgane nicht nur eine seitliche Halterung sondern auch einen Längsan¬ schlag für das jeweilige Rad bilden, damit ein Fortrollen das Rads auch ohne zusätzliche Befestigung verhindert wird. Dies wird besonders einfach erreicht, indem die Halteorgane je zwei gebogen verlaufende L-Profile umfas¬ sen. Diese folgen der Peripherie der Radsollposition und bilden einerseits einen seitlichen Anschlag, andererseits eine Abstellfäche und einen Längsanschlag für das Rad.
